Perfect private Riad close to Bab Ziat in the SW of the (upper) Medina. Easy for Taxi and Luggage. Close to Palais Glaoui. Superb renovation (20-25 years ago) with pool in the garden. Well done Monique! Only 6 rooms, very cosy. Great staff. Perfect Breakfast.

An utterly charming riad owned by Monique who restored the building with love and great attention to detail. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished. Shower good. Breakfast served in the charming central courtyard and delicious. Personal service from arrival to departure. A true gem.

Riad Norma is situated close to one of the gates into the medina therefore not far to get baggage in and out. The rooms are spacious, and the decor superb. Riad Norma has been renovated to a high standard by local craftsmen. Monique and her staff were fantastic, it was like staying with friends and family. Many thanks for making us so welcome.

We had a difficult time booking a place in Fes and landed on the Riad Norma. It is a pleasant place but a little far for shopping or touring in the Medina. At least 15-20 minutes walk through alleyways. But it is near a gate popular for taxis - if they dain to take you where you want to go. The room was large but just off the main courtyard so it was a bit noisier and more exposed than we would like. We could hear the kitchens and staff operations, too. The riad's theme is opera and there was music in the morning for breakfast and in the afternoon. A little too loud and maybe the choice not as soothing to enjoy a meal or an afternoon siesta. We had a difficult time arranging a guide through the riad. We ended up sending the guide away after the price was 4x that originally quoted. The language is primarily French with the staff. No food but two nearby riads had excellent dinner offerings.

This riad brings you peace in the middle of the maze of streets. The rooms are nicely decorated. The courtyard and courtyard create a pleasant atmosphere. Monique, Younes and the staff give a personal touch to your stay. Well situated.

After a day spent in the chaotic Medina of Fes, entering the door of this Riad catapults you into an oasis of peace and beauty. Monique, the landlady, welcomes you with her charm, while Younes provides you with all information you need for a complete visit to the city in a professional way. I also thank the girl (unfortunately I don't remember her name) who served us a delicious breakfast every morning. I think it is one of the most beautiful and fascinating Riad in all of Fes not only for the people who work there but also for the excellent services it offers; cleanliness, location, food and professionalism are at a high level.

Absolutely loved Riad Norma. Monique and her team went above and beyond for us. The rooms are clean, gorgeous and spacious, with a beautiful pool and dining area outside. We really felt at home at Riad Norma, with their warm hospitality and delicious breakfasts. The location is central. Really enjoyed our stay at this Moroccan riad, and highly recommend this place.

This was the best hotel I recall ever staying. It's a riad, not really a hotel. It's an Arab version of a Spanish villa, with a beautiful courtyard and garden inside the property. There are only 6 rooms, and each of them is flawlessly well maintained. The staff is also small but everybody consistently interacts with you. Monique, the owner, is a welcoming French lady who welcomes you like no other place. The place went through extensive renovation a while ago but maintenance is so good that it still looks new. It has heat pumps and AC, an amazing breakfast, and a fantastic rooftop with a great 360-degree view. Location-wise, it is right in the medina, but literally 150 m from one of the Babs (external gates). This place is highly recommendable.

We would highly recommend Riad Norma for your stay in Fes. Well deserving of 5 stars! It’s is a beautifully restored boutique hotel that truly is a delightful place to stay. It is approximately a 15minute walk to the Blue Gate and close to other local amenities and great restaurants/cafes. It is a also a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the old Medina and truly a feast for the senses. From the beautiful plaster and mosaic work, relaxing garden, the scent of green tea with mint and orange blossoms to the sound of orchestral music in the air. You wont want to leave the Riad! The owner Monique is a wonderful and attentive host and she personally greets and welcomes all of her guests. Her team of staff are outstanding. They are friendly and so accommodating, and go above and beyond to make your stay one to remember. Breakfast is delicious! Strawberries, pancakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries and coffee. What a way to start the day in the magical city of Fes!
