Four Points by Sheraton Fayetteville Fort Liberty

It was a clean place with a nice bed and the people was very friendly

I walked into the hotel and was immediately questioned about why I was in the hotel and who I was coming to see . I let them know that I didn’t need any assistance , however they continue to threaten with security . I stayed in place and called my friend that I was coming to pick up . The front desk clerks ( Jocellyn / Gian) and begin to speak in another language while looking at me . They then stated that this was their policy . I asked them to call the room and if they needed my ID . The call was made and I asked if they needed my ID .. they never responded so I begin walking towards the room. They told me that I could not walk to the room and I had to wait for my guest to come get me . I then asked for the policy in writing and to speak to the manager . They called the manager and the manager refused to come out to the front desk . They then admitted there was no such policy . I waited until my guest arrived . Needless to say , they checked out of the hotel the same day they arrived .

This hotel was a stop on our way to Washington, DC. The best feature, of course, is the HIX cinnamon buns @ breakfast. Our room was clean & spacious, but we never did get the A/C down to our comfort level. The bathroom was clean, but small. Beware: If you plan on utilizing the sofa sleeper, make certain the person is tiny. Apparently, there is a size smaller than twin. I dubbed it the "Barbie Bed." My final note is that our room rate there costs $20 more than the 15th-floor-room-with-a-view-of-the-Capitol we occupy here in D.C.

This has been one of the best holiday in express locations that I have ever stayed in!!! The attendance at the counter were professionally dressed. They may not like wearing suit jackets, but it makes for such a professional and upscale environment. But not only were they professionally dressed they were professional, but completely inviting and warm and welcoming!!! And not just the one that checked us in, but all four that we talked to over the course of the evening and morning!!! The lobby is immaculate!!! The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless!! They would’ve passed any white glove inspection!!! The best part of our stay was when we walked into the room the soft lights above the bed we’re on low and on the bed was a newspaper, a personal welcome letter, a summary of the local weather, and two gourmet milk chocolates. Every Holiday Inn Express should send their employees to this location for training!!! It was a wonderful stay!!!! And for an exceptionally reasonable price!!! And to top it off, I was letting the morning attendant know how lovely of a stay that we had, and he said that the location was 15 years old!! It is in pristine condition!!! I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone and anytime I were to travel that direction again, I would definitely go out of my way to stay here!!!! I felt completely safe at this location and was treated like royalty!!!! Thank you!!!!

When I got to my room I noticed that one of the smoke/fire detectors had been tampered with and was hanging off the wall by the wires attached to it. I called the front desk and was told that someone from maintenance would come by to take a look. That was the first day of my stay. On the 2nd day, the TV stopped working. I called the front desk again and advised that the TV wasn't working and asked if I could move to another room. They refused to move me and said they would send maintenance to take a look. Again, no one came. On the morning of my 3rd day I stopped by the front desk to ask about having my room serviced. The person at the desk advised that I had to ask for it to be done by 1030 in order to have it done that day. It was about 1000 so I was confused as to why she told me that so I assumed it would be done by the time I got back later in the evening. I got back to my room about 1700 and found that the room hadn't been serviced. So I'm on day 3 with dirty sheets and towels, the smoke detector was still hanging off the wall, and the TV hadn't been fixed. I went down to the front desk and asked why none of these things had been done, I got no answer from either of the 3 people standing there. I went through the list of issues that I had and the only muffled response I got from one of them was "I didn't know about the TV". I had to insist that I be given another room because it didn't seem that any of them cared and weren't going to offer me that option. It was ridiculous. My only complaint about the new room is that the microwave was old and on it's last leg. There were scorch marks on the transformer on the inside and it smelled of burnt plastic when I first used it. I stopped using it for fear of starting a fire. I checked out early the next morning. I will never stay at this hotel again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else do either. The front desk staff couldn't have cared less about providing good customer service.

Stayed here while attending a nearby Civil War Reenactment. The hotel is tucked behind two other hotels. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the King Suite #226. Nice clean. The room was huge and the bed was also. It was higher than normal. It was a little hard to get into but after getting in it was great. Nice clean room with a view of the pool. Bathroom had large Jacuzzi tub, nice. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast OK. Will stay again if in the area.

Overall, the place is fine. It is a little dated and worn. More than you would expect for a HIE, but okay. No problems during my stay. Relatively convenient location for food and drinks. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

Wow! Thank you for a very comfortable bed, quiet night and a very clean hotel! We travel a lot and this stay was fantastic! We got a free upgrade also! There was a welcome note, chocolates and newspaper awaiting our arrival! Outstanding! We were traveling through just for a night, but anytime we're near Fayetteville, this is our stop!
