Die Zimmer waren kompakt, aber mehr als ausreichend. Ich fand das Layout des Ortes wunderschön. Mein einziger Griff war die Matratze war zu weich und es waren nur zwei Pilze. Die waren flach.

Das war so ein komfortables Aufenthalt! Das Zimmer war klein, aber das Layout bedeutete, dass ich genug Zimmer hatte, um meine Übernachttasche und Toiletten usw. zu lagern; Obwohl es auf einer Hauptstraße war und mein Zimmer direkt über die Vordertür war ich nicht durch irgendwelchen Lärm gestört. Ich war am meisten beeindruckt von der freundlichen Willkommen. Informiert über das Frühstück, aber nicht gedrängt zu buchen, und viele Lächeln usw., als ich am Abend aus ging. Es gab sogar ein Zeichen im Badezimmer sagen, dass sie wissen lassen, wenn Sie irgendwelche wesentlichen Dinge vergessen haben und sie würden ihnen ihre Komplimente liefern! Budget Unterkunft, die gut gelegen, komfortabel und vernünftig bezahlt ist. Ich würde wieder bleiben!

We always stay at the Lion & Key when we visit London and have been fortunate enough to stay here again in October, December, and also January for my husbands 80th birthday. This really is the ”Savoy” of the small hotels in London and we always know without fail, we will have the most perfect stay. All the staff genuinely care about their guests having the best experience and you cannot fault the care and attention to detail that this hotel takes to ensure an excellent customer experience. They have a great team of which we would like to thank Giorgio, Kanti and Stephania for making all our visits a home away from home. The rooms and also public areas in the hotel are kept pristinely clean and are bright and cheerful. I love the attention to detail this hotel has even with the smallest thing. i.e. the shower cap in the bathroom also has a small hairband in the box ,which is excellent if you have long hair and can’t find your own! The beds are also extremely comfortable and we both always have an excellent night sleep. We love the open kitchen where you can see all the food being freshly prepared and cooked to order. They are very generous with their breakfast time which doesn’t end until 12 o’clock lunchtime. The choice and range that they offer in their restaurant, regardless of breakfast or main meals throughout the day would accommodate even the most fussiest eaters, which I am, but even I am extremely spoilt for choice as the breakfast menu is so comprehensive. The quality of the ingredients used in the restaurant is first class and so is the time and care in presentation which also reflects the pride that they take. We can honestly say that the breakfast’s we have at the L&K are the most tastiest, freshest, consistently perfect breakfast’s we have ever had and far exceed the quality that we have experienced over the years in 4 & 5 star hotels. To be honest, we often wonder how they continuously provide such care and attention to detail for the customer, even more so since Covid as many many hotels and restaurants seem to still use this as an excuse for a less than perfect service or menu range. We must’ve had over 100 of breakfasts since we have been coming here in 2018 and the eggs are always perfectly cooked with a lovely orange yolk, regardless of whether it’s a normal full English breakfast, or my husbands favorite the Egg Royale. We very rarely eat sausages or bacon at home, but the quality and taste of the ones here are amazing, so we always, always enjoy our breakfast which set us up for exploring all day. The transport links to this hotel are excellent as well. There are four buses that go past the hotel to Leyton underground, one of which is running 24 hours and they seem to come by every few minutes. Stratford is only four stops from Leyton so excellent connections for overground, DLR, O2 etc. Liverpool Street is the next stop along for even more connections so the location we find is a great asset to wherever we

Ich habe in einer HIE geblieben, bevor ich überprüfte, wie nah diese war an der ABBA Arena und sah, dass es nur etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt war. Anreise nach 2.00pm und Zimmer war bereit. Check in effizient und freundlich - Zimmer war sauber und hatte alles für einen Nachtaufenthalt oder sogar mehr. Tee- und Kaffeemaschine und Zubehör, Eisen- und Eisenbahnbord, Zimmer sicher und ausreichend Hänge. Haben Sie vor dem Ausflug noch einen Drink in der Bar, als wir zurückkamen. Viele Konzertteilnehmer sprechen mit! Frühstück mehr als ausreichend. Obwohl wir in der Regel nicht das heiße Essen haben, waren die Fruchtkomote und Yoghurt lecker und es gab viele Wahlen zu anderen Dingen. Alles Personal war sehr angenehm und überall, wo wir sahen, war sauber. Wir waren sehr froh, dass wir hier bleiben gewählt haben. Wäre definitiv empfehlenswert. Ausgezeichneter Wert für Geld.

If you're looking for somewhere to SLEEP, I do not recommend this hotel! We stayed for 1 night and got no sleep due to an event on in the room above ours. This is a pretty old building so the walls, floors etc are all very thin. The music was SO loud in our room it was vibrating the lights! and could be easily heard word for word....even in the shower!! We complained to reception who told us there were no other rooms available...the lady working spoke with the hotel manager who was off. She informed her the event was on till 1am but the music would be turned down at 12....this did not happen! When they finally turned the music off at 1:30 they then spend another 2 hours dragging furniture around which was also incredibly loud! We finally fell asleep and were then startled awake before 8am by them dragging heavy furniture around again!! We complained again when checking out and member of staff apologised but was not sympathetic to the situation at all. We felt it was as though they cared more about keeping the event guests happy than the hotel residents. The manager was still off but was due in the following day, our information was to be passed to her for her to call us (as we obviously requested a full refund)....we've still heard nothing from her!.... My husband and I never complain and if there's a problem we just suck it up, but this was so shocking and unbelievable it could not be ignored!

Das Gebäude insgesamt ist sehr klein und die Taschen sind etwas schwierig zu bewegen. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön, aber das Fenster schließen kann auch das Geräusch von außen hören.
