Courtyard Dallas Midlothian at Midlothian Conference Center

Enjoyed property but when spending time with the family and kids, we overheard bartender using profanity. Kids were with in earshot and there was no need for it in the conversation he was having with customers at the bar.

Cons: One of the beds in our first room had been urinated in. Once we realized, we were immediately switched to a different room. The new room didn't have a TV remote, when one was provided, it didn't work, and the Keurig only worked intermittently. Bar tender was rude and the drinks were mid. Free coffee was weak. Pros: Beds were comfortable and rooms are spacious.

This is my first stay at this Midlo Courtsife Marriot and I was very pleasantly SURPRISED! It is a very well kept beautiful modern hotel with all the homey amenities and very nice and friendly employees. The Downstairs check in desk was a surprise - since they have wrapped snacks right there - and at first I thought it was an entrance to a snack shop or a restaurant. But they just have the snacks arranged in a lower table than the check in desk for convenience (and I am sure it’s a great add on to their per guest revenues! (Everything always relates to money right ?) ! There is a full bar too and a restaurant which I didn’t try yet. The room I was in was a king size bed and it had a nice big screen tv on the wall and adjacent to that was a half moon very comfy contemporary coach for sitting on and watching TV if you don’t want to watch from the bed. The bathroom was shiny and smelled clean and they had pre bottled shampoo , conditioner, and Creme bath soap in dispensers in the shower stall! Much nicer than a hotel who just leaves you a bar of soap that just wastes a lot of soap since you don’t use it all and it’s more sanitary to have the dispensers. The AC / heat was on a comfortable setting and I didn’t notice any need to chance it. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was a good quality of cotton and extremely soft . They have an optional Internet setting on the TV for logging in and watching Netflix, Prime. Or YouTube! So that was also a nice feature

The stay was fine, the hotel was nice. Although our room showed some wear & tear that was cosmetic and could use sprucing. The wall paper coming off in bathroom wall, paint issues, carpet, etc. The main complaint was about the bistro. Tried to order breakfast rhe day we checked out & our options we chose to order were going to have to be modified because they were out of so many things. So, we ended up going out for breakfast. Other than that, all was okay.

My only complaint is that it was incredibly loud. You could hear all the cars and trucks going down the highway ALL NIGHT LONG. It was loud enough to wake me numerous times during the night. Everything else was great.

Generally ok The light above the desk didn't work. Could not turn off the ceiling lights and have the reading light on. No fresh yogurt parfaits for breakfast.

Clean comfortable rooms. 2 free bottles of water would be nice for Bonvoy members like us!

This is a nice small and quaint hotel with a very friendly staff ready and eager to help and assist their guests.

Staff was polite. Facility was clean. Room and bath fixtures are better suited for Motel 6.
