周辺に同一の価格帯の大型宿泊施設があり、そちらをお勧めします。 現地の方から「あなたはなぜリビエラホテルダーバンなんかに泊まったのですか？」とよく聞かれました。 実際、エアコンもなく、シャンプーもなく、トイレも冷たく、ホテル全体も古く、お勧めしません。 周辺に、ガソリンスタンドがあり、そちらの近くにある小さなコンビニエンスストアのようなものがあるのが唯一の利点です。

The hotel has a foul oudour there was cockroaches in the room fan wasn't working properly. Lift was broken I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone There's no aircon in the room. TV channels were not even working. No wifi. This hotel is the worst hotel possible.

We did like the place but they need to fix a lot of.things 1Receptiom service,on our arrival there was no one to help us at the desk,till the housekeeping lady came and she also not sure what she was doing 2 Our room was nice but the problem was the TV,we couldn't watch it because there was no remote control,if touch it the cabinet was dancing like is going to fall down 3 The ladies who were cleaning they just came to vacuum only,our furniture was dusty everyday 4 please make sure there's is generator during loadshading 5 Our breakfast was nice but our chefs they couldn't make us nice Sunnyside up eggs instead the yolk was broken everyday 6 Please make there's Rooibos tea when I come back because drink caffeine free tea This nice place,it is affordable,next time we will be the group of 15 we will be happy to have a sea view rooms. The hotel was extremely dirty. We had spider webs and dozens of bugs in our room and one of the beds had blood on it. The hotel was located in a very unsafe area yet the lobby lacked any security measures.

Our rooms were not at check-in time.The beds and furniture are old.What is advertised is not what we got. The hotel doesn't have rules. Too much fights and noise at the passage.We didn't enjoy ourstay

Dear Sir/ Madam My family recently stayed at your "hotel" Riviera Hotel 127 Victoria Embankment, Esplanade, Durban, 4001, on the weekend of Easter. I was horrified at the service we received. The General Manager/ or Front Office Manager, Hussain, refused to state his designation to us and lacks the number one skill needed by management, LISTEN. The service from the receptionist, lacked enthusiasm and courtesy. We were allocated a room that would be perfect for a horror movie. 1.The carpet in the room was laced with black dust, as though it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, to which Hussain's response was, "we are situated on the coast, and dust comes in from a recent storm". 2.The towels in the bathroom, which were once white, looked ready to be disposed off. We used our own face clothes and bought our own towels. 3.Nobody helped us to our room 105, we explored almost all the floors of the hotel, with our daughter who is mobility-impaired (disability walking). 4.We didn't get to watch the TV, as the signal was not strong enough, and hardly visible. 5.The rooms are extremely noisy, at all hours of the night. 6.There was no cutlery, microwave, fridge in the room, and only two glasses to service a family of 5. Needless to say I have advised my family and friends, never to stay at this hotel, it's a headache, zero hospitality experience, it will ruin their vacation. Dissatisfied Customer

Check ☑ in was 14:00 and check ☑ out was 10:00 the following day, that's was amazing and prices are very good, I wish I can come again for week or month. According to security I think if you entered the building you must be checked if you are a visitor or what.

Good place to stay a budget hotel great chef serves breakfast on time always friendly the older guy who serves breakfast not sure about the other chefs never filled milk an hot water always empty the Indian guy in the office great guy runs the place to the T very understanding guy
