We liked this property for its location away from the hustle and bustle of Canal Park but close enough to walk or use their shuttle.
We were upgraded to a room overlooking the bay, and it was beautiful. On a nice day, the little patio would be lovely.
We were there on Presidents Day holiday weekend. So it seemed the hotel was overwhelmed by the numbers of guests because the breakfast ran out before we could get anything of value even though we were there well before breakfast closed. Pool was very busy with kids and families, which is fine, but a lot of splashing and no enforcement of no children in the hot tub. We just had to adjust our timing to go to pool when there weren’t families there. It’s not a big deal-we understand there will be kids. But an “adult” hour and/or enforced “no one under 16 I. Hot tub” would be good.
Lounge was kind of funny. Very nice but very small corner behind check-in desk that maybe holds 10 people. And “free snack” with purchase of drink was Tostitos and Salsa or pretzels. We did take our drinks and snack over to the fireplace, but it just didn’t match the “hype”.
It’s a very nice place, and rooms were clean, spacious and bathroom well appointed. So I’d recommend, just be aware of timing breakfast and pool time.
