Hotel & Spa l'Antico Forziere

This visit my son and I concentrated on pure relaxation, instead of sightseeing as we have visited this lovely refuge a few times before. The hospitality is gracious, accomodations comfortable, and the food is AMAZING! I had a relaxing massage and we made use of the immaculate pool. I have been recommending this property to my traveling friends and customers for years and cannot wait to return.

Very good welcome and services. Fabulous restaurant. Very nice and pretty decoration and garden. But noisy and no cooling devise in bedroom so have to open window on the road side so very noisy. Pity because with cooling device it would have been almost perfect.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for the first time approximately 14 years ago and have been back several times since. This is a wonderful and friendly family run property with nice spacious rooms, a great swimming pool area, nice area for indoor and outdoor relaxation and the hotel has recently added a very nice spa. The hotel is ideally and centrally located to explore wonderful Umbria. Least let's not forget, the hotel has one of the very finest gourmet restaurants in the region. We can't wait to come back again!

Serene and Relaxing, not to be missed. We've been coming here for 18 years and recent renovations of a large atrium gathering/ cocktails/ tea room have made this place even better. Any time, we are going to be in Italy in the Umbria area we stay here and plan our excursions to Deruta, Assisi, Montefalco, Spello, Spoleto, etc from this base camp. The rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable, sheets are lovely. The views of the Umbrian hills and local church towers create an instant sense of calm and relaxation. The upgraded bathrooms are also large. The owners, the Rodella family, welcome guests, with a sincere happiness of spirit and no request is too difficult. We were served cocktails and munchies every night in the Atrium, with a fireplace and gorgeous views of the sunset. It was a perfect setting. Nothing in Umbria compares to the Acclaimed chefs, the Rodella twin brothers, who create masterpieces for meals that make every bite a sensation of flavors. Once again, we were overjoyed to try new meals and be blown away by the taste. Don’t skimp on desert, a beauty to behold, and to taste. The only drawback to eating here is I dream of it every night and other restaurants back home just don’t compare. Five stars, a must for any itinerary wanting to eat an incredible meal in an unpretentious atmosphere.

Ci siamo trovati così per caso in questo posto da favola,immerso nel verde. Abbiamo mangiato bene ,i piatti sono raffinati e curati nella presentazione. Il personale...10+. Il conto è adeguato alla qualità del cibo. Da tornarci sicuramente

I nostri figli ci hanno regalato un pacchetto comprendente cena, notte, colazione e 90 minuti di centro benessere. Siamo stati piacevolmente sorprese dall’atmosfera familiare ed accogliente sia alla reception dell’albergo sia in sala ristorante. I piatti sono elaborati ma pensati con cura ed amore . Ci sono tanto impegno e tanto lavoro “dietro le quinte” ma si percepisce appena si vede il servizio e quando si gustano i cibi. L’area benessere è giusta e godibile per due persone Esperienza assolutamente consigliata

Ho soggiornato 3 notti insieme al mio compagno in questo piccolo paradiso. Posso solo definire cosi un luogo dove mi è stato impossibile trovare qualcosa che non andasse. Situato in un punto strategico per visitare molti siti come Corciano, Perugia, Torgiano etc. Per iniziare abbiamo noleggiato le bike per una giornata e abbiamo visto paesaggi di natura unica. Dunque, partiamo dalla suite che molto comoda con letto altrettanto promettente sonni tranquilli, si affaccia al piano terra su un giardino che al risveglio regala il cinguettio della natura stessa, ha una pulizia top in tutti gli spazi anche quelli interni della struttura. Colazione dolce e salata con molta scelta anche per me che ho richiesto cibi senza glutine. Abbiamo provato la meravigliosa Spa (sauna, bagno turco e idromassaggio) a pagamento con uso esclusivo per 1 ora e mezzo, accolti da prosecco (aperitivo) ed eventualmente la possibilità di tisana. Il massaggio di 50 minuti prenotato in anticipo, ci ha donato un ulteriore momento di stacco dallo stress cittadino. Cena al ristorante I Rodella la prima sera, dove abbiamo assaporato portate di alto livello e qualità raffinata in linea con lo spessore della location. Tutto ciò che ho percepito è stato un respirare amore e dedizione di chi fa del proprio lavoro una propria passione. L 'Antico Forziere con la sua gestione familiare fi grande esperienza, è stata per noi la testimonianza di cordialità, efficienza, funzionalità, accoglienza e una risposta alla nostra richiesta di un luogo che ci potesse far riposare senza farci mancare nulla.
