Elma's Dream Apartments & Villas

we traveled with our friends and both with a grandchild. The place was perfect for us, the children used the pool every day. The hotel was clean, the rooms were clean and the owner was very friendly. Made a very good spaghetti bolognese, grandchild eat very good. One time in week :)

Great place to relax. I liked that it was a few minutes from the beach and within walking distance to the town with a lot of walking routs nearby to explore further beaches. It is also possible to use the bus to get to the city. My apartment, was in the first floor with a little balcony, cozy, clean and with all amenities. Comfortable beds. Room was regularly serviced, fresh bed sheets and towels. It was my second time at Elma's and enjoyed a lot each time.

We could not fault Andreas and Majken's hospitality. Along with their family, we felt welcome, and cared for, but with none of the "hard sell" of commercial hotels. The accommodation was clean, safe, and comfortable. The cleaning lady was careful not to impose, and did a great job of working around our children's clutter! The little kitchen area was very useful on a particularly rainy evening when we opted to cook our own dinner. We enjoyed Andreas' Greek coffee in the morning, along with a well- stocked bar, and ice creams. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options are also available. We had breakfast one morning which was a treat! The pool is great, with shade and sun areas throughout the day and a safe children's area. My little boy loved it, even though it was a little chilly in October! The beach is minutes away, with a bar, and reasonably- priced sunbeds. Perfect shallow water for children. Small and larger supermarkets within a short walk, and several restaurants/ bakery nearby. Number 21 bus takes you into, and back from Chania town centre. Our happiest times were around our balcony area just relaxing. Mostly, we will remember the fantastic hospitality. Thank you, we hope to return one day.

Before corona I went there with my family. After the lock down my kids and I went back just to stay at Elmas. The price is good. The size and the way it's build around the pool is perfect. The rooms are really nice. And the owners and people working there are so sweet. Everybody should stay there.. just don't book all the room when I'm going again. ☺️

Our short stay was very enjoyable. Perfect location 100 m from the sandy beach. The owner is extremely nice and willing to help. The apartment is well-equipped and cleaned every day. Well-kept swimming pool very close to the apartments.

Our stay at Elma's Dream was amazing. I 110% recommend the place. Andreas is a really nice host, he made sure our stay is perfect. If we go back to Crete again, we will definitely choose this place. The place is wonderful inside and outside, and has everything you need: kitchen, pool, comfortable beds, clean and modern bathrooms, TV, we also had a terrace. You can eat amazing food and drink from a huge variety of drinks at the bar. We also got really good recommendations from Andreas, we could rent a beach towel, and our room was tidy and clean each time we came back from a day trip, as the cleaning lady (who is also a lovely person) made sure to clean and tidy up our place. We could cook for ourselves as well. There is a car rental next door (I also recommend that) and a grocery shop with all you need (non food too) just in front of the apartman. The beach is one of the best beaches in the area, and it is only 3-4 minutes walk away. The beach close also has a nice beach bar and food, umbrellas and sunbeds. The bus stop is also really close, so if you don't want to rent a car you can go to Chania by public transport too easily, as it is only a few kms away. Chania city center can be expensive, crowded and loud but Elma's Dream is the perfect place as you can relax but also find activities really close. There were families, couples, older people, a friends group at the apartment and I can assure you, this place is ideal for everyone. Thank you again Andreas, for this wonderful experience! This is a wonderful place. We travel a lot and I consider this apartment to be one of the best we have visited. The location is very good, close to the beach, shop and big supermarket. There are several restaurants nearby. There is a bus stop very close, from which you can go to the center of Chania. The course lasts approximately 15 minutes. The apartment was very clean, towels and bed linen were changed every two days. The most important thing, however, was the very nice atmosphere and the wonderful host Andreas. Perfect location for easy access to western Crete. We stay here annually and enjoy the warm welcoming hospitality of the staff. We look forward to visiting with them as part of our vacation. A short walk to a beach that has all the amenities needed for a relaxing day in the sun with a frappe. We travel frequently and this is our favorite place to stay. We often use it as a comparison and so far the others have fallen short. Highly recommend!
