The hotel was clean, but we didn’t like waiting outside in the cold for our car to be retrieved. The hotel seemed fairly empty while we were there, but we still had to wait for someone to come to the desk when we arrived.

My room was not cleaned while there food menu did not detail what was all included in the ingredients of the meal like pork, which I don’t eat. Plus to charge 35 a night for customers who are staying for several days for parking is ridiculous. Will never stay again.

The beginning of the stay was disappointing. We arrived family with 2 toddlers at 20:00 at the hotel door which was locked. waited 5 minutes until they opened for us. Our booking included a cot. We checked twice and got approval. When we got the rooms there was no bed as promised. The representative was helpless and seemed unprofessional. She apologized and said she had nothing to do. After a determined demand on our part, she called the manager who provided the bed around 10 pm. We were expecting to receive some kind of compensation for the anguish. Beyond that, the rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is probably not suitable for hosting families with children

It was a great stay, at a place that is not only well priced, but delivers the exacting, quality service one comes to expect at a Marriott property. The only thing I can't grasp is why in order to utilize the garage, guests have to use the valet service and incur a $35 per night fee. I have no problem parking my vehicle, why can't I self park at a lower rate? Why isn't it included in the room rate? There's no way I'm parking my vehicle late night in downtown Dallas and walking a block(minimum) to the hotel. No thanks. What's the point of a garage, if it isn't of use to most of your guests?

This property was clean and had nice amenities. Anthony the front desk was great! He helped us out with Valet parking. Valet was a little slow but I believe it was just a staffing issue so we were very patient! I would definitely recommend this hotel if coming to Dallas. Just be mindful that there isn’t too many restaurant to walk to, but there are plenty just a short drive.

Felt very safe and much more pleasant to see and smell compared to the other Marriot Fairfield down the street. Had to change feom the Fairfiled to Courtyard after one night stay for numerous negative reasons.
