Die besten Hotels in Saly, Senegal

Ein wirklich tolles Hotel mit kleinen Mängel . Die Gastronomie und der Service ist Weltklasse , man fühlt sich wie in Frankreich . Ein wirklich tolles Essen auf einem ganz hohen Niveau. Ein sehr schöner Strand mit Top Service Kräften . Und auch der Spa hat uns sehr schöne Stunden beschert. Die Standart Zimmer im Erdgeschoss passen leider nicht zum Standard des restlichen Hotels . Etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sehr sehr hellhörig. Der Nachbar liegt akustisch leider mit im Bett . Die Zimmer in der oberen Etage mit Balkon sind da schon besser . Eine Renovierung würde bestimmt dem Standard der Zimmer zum restlichen Hotel angleichen . Eine Flasche Wasser im Zimmer für den kompletten Aufenthalt ist meines Erachtens nicht zeitgemäß, auch weil man in Afrika ist . Und das ist doch finanziell wie organisatorisch doch eine Kleinigkeit . Aber unterm Strich eine Erste Adresse in Senegal - wir kommen gerne wieder .

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, es geht um unsere Buchung Nr. 54688192. Wir sind die Reise am 01.10.2023 angetreten und jetzt wieder aus dem Urlaub zurück. Das von Ihnen angebotene Hotel New Blue Africa (DSS03003) ist das schlechteste bzw. schlimmste Hotel, das wir je gesehen haben. Man kann es auch kein Hotel nennen. Verschimmelte Wände von innen und außen, die Wände am Bett wurden zusätzlich durch einen Stoff verdeckt, der auch schon grau verschimmelt war. Ekelhaft!!!. Sobald man das Zimmer aufgemacht hat, roch es nach alter Feuchtigkeit. Das Abwasser von den Klimaanlage tropfte direkt auf die Wand unten, die Wand war grün von Schimmel. Die Dame am Empfang und Bar hat sich Mühe gegeben und uns noch zwei weitere Zimmer gezeigt, leider keins davon war besser als das andere. Wir konnten/wollten auf gar kein Fall in dem Hotel übernachten, haben eigenständig direkt auf eigene Kosten ein anderes Hotel gebucht und das Hotel New Blue Africa verlassen. Leider haben wir an dem Tag keine Fotos von den Zimmern gemacht. Nach ca. einer Woche sind wir wieder nach Mbour gefahren, um Fotos zu erstellen, um an Sie später zu berichten. Lt. der Leitung des Hotels wurde aber das Zimmer schon vergeben und wir dürften die Innenräume nicht mehr fotografieren. Wir haben dann nur von außen Fotos gemacht, aber das reicht leider nicht ganz, um sich ein Bild von den Zimmern zu machen. Das Blue Afrika sieht auf den Online-Bilden zwar einfach aber schon gepflegt aus, leider stimmt das alles nicht. Die Küche sieht auch ekelhaft aus. Der schöne Strand ist zwar direkt am Hotel, aber beim Zugang zum Atlantik sehr dreckig, es liegen riesige Mühlhaufen auf beiden Seiten, es laufen sehr kranke Hunde am Strand entlang. Ist das ein Urlaubsort??? Wie können Sie sowas anbieten??? Wenn man kein Problem mit Dreck hat, ist man hier richtig. Wir werden separat eine Bewertung für das Hotel abgeben. Selbstverständlich werden wir das Hotel ausdrücklich jedem abraten. Es wundert uns einfach, dass so ein Unternehme wie Tui dieses Hotel in seinem Sortiment anbietet. Dabei gibt es in Senegal sehr gute bzw. gepflegte zwei Sterne Hotels. Wir waren im Senegal nicht das erste Mal. Menschen von Deutschland nach Senegal zu befördern und in so einem Hotel zu quartieren ist eine dreiste Zumutung. Daher werden wir demnächst selber ein Hotel organisieren und Tui dabei nicht mehr berücksichtigen! Excellent hotel with just a few minor drawbacks, none of which should put others off staying here. The rooms are dark (I suspect most of them, certainly ours) as they are very long and the glass doors (which serve as windows) are shadowed. The wardrobe is unusable without a ladder (not provided) as the hanging rail is 3 metres up! The shower and spa bath need maintenance, but everything else in the room was perfect. Breakfast is chaotic - no other word for it - which would be forgivable if it was included in the room rate. Coffee, when available (just one filter machine, have to ask them to fill it) comes either as ultra-strong bitter or dishwater, omelettes can take 30 minutes to arrive, availability of other things variable. Dinner quality is good, but takes forever to come - we waited 1h 40m for our main courses! But... the price is good and the rooms and pool areas are fine.

I give this hotel four stars because of two things: the outdoor dining area with a sea-view and the friendly staff. I am glad I was there mostly during dry weather, which allowed me to enjoy the outdoor seating. However, the 15 minutes or so that I spent inside in the sitting area when it rained, it felt like sitting in an unkempt living room of a big family. It was indeed a family business and many people, possibly family members were helping out. They were all very friendly. The little pool was often full. There seemed to be many day-visitors and at times it was very loud. As for Wi-Fi, although they kept saying ”connect to D-link”, there was mostly no internet with that link. The rooms were small and dark and did not give a very clean feeling. My bed-sheets had blood stains from mosquito bites of the previous guest. The family seemed to be cutting corners in many things. Even the soap was a left-over last piece of what looked like the soap used for doing laundry. Maybe local tourists had no problem with this, but I found it rather unclean. I am glad I had the experience and I did enjoy having a drink or two by the seaside. So, I can forget about the not-so-good stuff in the hotel.

Ich war in diesem Hotel über eine Organisation, mit der ich eine Schule in der Gegend bauen arbeitete. Ich wusste fast nichts über das Hotel und war angenehm überrascht, als ich ankam. Es ist ein lustiges tropisches Paradies direkt am Wasser. Die Bodenflächen waren mit Blumen und Palmen bedeckt. Es gab überall Lizards, Vögel und Butterfliesen und es ist in der Stadtmitte. Die Menschen am Frontbüro waren sehr warm und freundlich (obwohl sie hauptsächlich Französisch sprechen). Sie haben auch eine Bar und servieren einen anständigen Frühstücksbuffet, Mittagessen und Abendessen täglich im Hotel. Am Samstag Abend haben sie Live-Musik. Die Zimmer waren eine anständige Größe, obwohl die Betten und Kissen ein wenig hart waren. Das Bad warmes Wasser kann auch kochen bis zum Touch, so müssen Sie sehr vorsichtig sein. Insgesamt war es eine unerwartete große Erfahrung, abgesehen von den Betten und das übermäßig warme Wasser. Ich würde Ihnen sicher empfehlen, hier zu bleiben, wenn Sie in der Gegend sind. Es gibt auch eine große kleine Reserve mit Zebras, Ostereien, Rhinos und anderen Tieren weniger als eine Stunde entfernt.
