The beach area is very nice. The food is good. The service is excellent. Our concierge, Jorge, took care of all our needs.

A big group of us stayed for a week and we had a wonderful time! The resort shows wear as it is older, but they do a great job keeping it clean. The sea**** is hard to keep up with on the beach but they do their best to haul it away. The magic show was incredible! The other nights of entertainment were okay. The drinks, food, and staff were great. I want to give a big shout-out to Enrique, Santos, Edwin, and Augustin who made our stay memorable and fun. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone considering booking. You won't regret it!

Negatives - Poor food quality and limited options. Inconsistent customer service from hotel staff. Positives - Nice location and amenities. ******* agent was helpful. A generally forgettable hotel experience and will not return to this hotel.

There were many scenic, comfortable areas to relax in.
Excellent beach and pool areas.
Always available loungers and free cabanas.
The food was good but too Mexican for my stomach.
The bar lacked variety in alcohol brands. Very basic.
Staff was excellent, worked hard to keep the place clean and provide good services.
The activities were great because of the way the staff treated and engaged the guests.
Shout out to April and Leo.

This is my 5th time here. I can’t get enough of this place. It is so clean. The staff is over the top amazing! Adrain at the Mole cafe is the absolute best. The concierge is so wonderfully accommodating and will help with whatever your heart desires. I look forward to my trip every year to see the staff that has become my friends.

My boyfriend and I stayed here from Jan 21-27th and absolutely loved it! Enrique was such an outstanding bartender at the swim up bar. He was always smiling and very friendly. Alfonso was in contact with us everyday letting us know what activities were going on and what kind of food would be served at the buffet for dinner. We enjoyed the food at the Fish House restaurant; especially breakfast. The housekeeping staff was awesome! They were very efficient and kind. Every worker greeted us as they walked by. Just an overall amazing staff at Melia Cozumel! We will definitely be back next year !

Had a couple of issues with the room, the TV turned on itself during the night out of a sudden. Water was pouring brown in the sink and shower from time to time.

The one thing we didn't like was we paid for a water view which we got, however
, they were doing painting and i had ladders and workers in my view. I walked out of the shower and had to hurry and cover up because i had workers with access to look right into my window.
I ordered a king room back in November and upon arrival they said they had no king rooms available, only double beds...
That's not what i paid for or booked, they did not accommodate me.
There is no shopping near by so you have to take a taxi anywhere you go, would be nice if they had a shuttle even once a day that could drop you off at the shopping district and pick up, that would have been great!
The place was clean, staff was very kind, food was ok. Not sure if i would come back here again or not, i may give it another try in the future.
