The Dorchester Hotel

The rooms are beautifully decorated, and there are many special touches to elevate your experience! Beautiful bar, well stocked room with everything you need and more. 10/10

Very disappointed with our stay and surprised that the issues we faced weren't apparent from other reviews. We did not get any restful sleep - the walls are paper thin and you can hear other guests in nearby rooms; any and every sound from the hallway seems like it's coming from inside the room because it's so loud, and the HVAC unit made a dripping sound that kept us up all night the first evening. The room was also remarkably small, so much so that it was a shock when we first entered - the room square footage should be listed on the hotel's website so guests can make an informed decision. We booked a classic suite with kitchen with the intention of cooking most of the weekend. But the kitchen is an arm's reach from the bed and there was no where to sit and eat, so it was very uncomfortable. On the plus side - the room and hotel was well decorated and very clean, and staff are friendly, but considering the cost, we expected a more comfortable stay - unfortunately it's style over substance and function here.

A lot of thought and care was put into this property, creating a very sophisticated a**osphere. We really enjoyed our stay!

Front Desk was amazing at check in…went above and beyond to assist us including checking for an upgrade and allowing an hour later check out as we had a scheduled visit the next day. Room decor amazing, easy key pass system, great location. Looking forward to the coming restaurant! Stayed many places over the years in and around Collingwood, with this being our second time at the Dorchester. It’s our new favourite, will definitely be back.

The Dorchester is incredibly convenient to all the shopping and restaurants in Collingwood. It’s a stylish little hotel with great kitchenettes in each room. We’ll stay here again. My only minor suggestions to The Dorchester would be to add weather *****ping around the doors so it doesn’t sound like people coming down the hall are right in your room and soft close toilet seats (in this day that should be a basic in a nice hotel).

It was my second time staying at the Dorchester and what a treat! It’s even more beautiful than I remembered! Perfect location, amazing service and beautiful decore!

Beautiful hotel with lots of nice cafes and dining options nearby. Super clean and comfy rooms with all amenities, friendly staff, and tastefully decorated rooms. Highly recommended!

Will be back for sure! Spent new years at the hotel with my boyfriend and was sent a bottle of champagne in celebration. Cutest party favour and totally unexpected! Staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and cleanly stay which did not go unnoticed! The bed's were like a cloud, if any reason aside, the bed's will bring us back for stays on end haha

This hotel would have received a perfect score but for two issues. The beds/pillows were a bit too soft, but that is a personal preference, and two, there was an odd humming/whirring sound all the time we could not place or drown out. Extra frustrating through the night as it hindered our sleep.
