Our room was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were complete and convenient.

I did not care for having to track myself and suitcase through dirt mud and grass. Furniture in bedroom was old and unstable.

Had to go to gas station and buy batteries because neither of the remote controls would work and NO STAFF at this establishment to help....NO HOT WATER...Tried to take a shower before I went to bed and water was cold...Tried to take a shower when I got up this morning and water was lukewarm. not a fun stay for me.

I found this place to be a pleasant surprise. It was clean and looked great! There were no unusual leaks, smells, or pests. The people i spoke with were helpful, pleasant, and made checking in and out quick and easy. As far as Fairbanks goes, I will probably not be returning; I am relocating out of the state. If I ever do return for some absolutely insane reason, I would absolutely stay again. The proximity to the highway, the University (where I was visiting for a volleyball tournament, GO SEAWOLVES!), and the Holiday station makes it an ideal location.

The property had the following issues.
1. The TV was internet based. The internet did not work reliably.
2. The main door was left open with no building security.
3. The internet did not work all the time.
4. The shower drain backed up.

Positives: It was a large unit with a kitchen, full sized coffee maker and had air conditioning. Negatives: The unit was dirty and outdated. The old furniture was in poor condition.

I generally like eclectic places, but this place is confusing in that there are a series of places run by a couple from their home. After one signs up, and it is non-refundable, you get a text warning you that where you are staying is not close to where you must check in. They have no phone number I could find on the web and they never replied to my queries. As I worried, I had to carry my bags a nearly half-hour walk to where I was supposed to stay.
Just be aware that this is not run in a conventional sense and pictures on web are misleading.
Otherwise, OK - like most ratings, a 3 star.
