Good ....

We normally stay in 4 or 5 star places around the world and in coimbatore as well. This time we decided to stay at Annapoorna with its new accommodation for our entire two week stay. We found that it is one of the best place we ever stayed. The entire team led by general ***ager Njo were brilliant. Nijo Augustine went out of way to help us with all our needs including travel booking. Food was excellent and one of the best vegetarian in the country. We were delighted by fine dining at Cove restaurant where the chef Murugesan took every effort to explain the details of our food. This is better than any Michelin star vegetarian restaurant we have been around the world All my friends enjoyed his seven course meal . Best was Arancini balls with yoghurt rice !! The General ***ager of the hotel Mt Srinivasan was fantastic and he had few chats with us to make our stay pleasant . I would recommend this especially club house accommodation if you are from overseas as it is great in every way. Shopping in nearby makes and stores was a delight to my wife ! I would say it is five star in all the way

This is my second visit to Hotel IKON Coimbatore. My earlier visit was with my family in December 2021 and my current visit was work related. On both occasions, the stay was very pleasant, comfortable and memorable. The rooms are well designed with modern fittings. The complimentary buffet breakfast has a reasonably good spread, and the food is tasty. The location of the hotel in the heart of the city is a big plus point.The staff of the hotel are very courteous and professional, and they have been putting in their best efforts to make the guests feel comfortable. My thanks to Ms.Akila for helping with the cab booking for my travel within Coimbatore. She was very patient while handling last minute changes, and she ensured that the cabs arrived on time. Her dedication is very much appreciated. I would also like to thank Mr. Aravind, Mr.***ikandan and Ms.Akila for helping me with the booking process. In spite of requesting a room at short notice, they were able to cater to my personal preferences. And my thanks to the all the other staff members whose names I cannot recollect but whose contribution was equally important in order to ensure customer satisfaction. The building houses two restaurants - Annapoorna and Kove. While Annapoorna is a famous vegetarian restaurant in Coimbatore which serves south and north Indian food, Kove offers multi-cuisine vegetarian fine dining options. Overall IKON is a great place to stay for family as well as business travellers, I would who***eartedly recommend this hotel to others.

This summer our family stayed at newly renovated Ikon by Annapoorna, RS Puram at Coimbatore. We stayed for about 2 weeks there and had a very comfortable and memorable time there! The rooms were very well planned, well maintained like in 5 star hotels! The location is so convenient with so ***y shopping options close by! Both the room service and hospitality were excellent! We really enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet with an array of breakfast items to choose from! The hospitality from the ***agers and staff really made our stay more memorable! We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at Coimbatore!

Stayed in IKON Annapoorna on 3 occasions over the last 2 months. When I first checked in during April, I was simply amazed by the complete makeover of the hotel lobby, rooms, bathrooms and service levels without any which way compromising on the legendary Annapoorna hospitality. I have been staying in Annapoorna over the last two and half decades and feel very happy to see this kind of much needed renovation and complete makeover. Be it the front office or room service or the house keeping, the service levels were top notch and no complaints whatsoever. Both the Executive and Club rooms are spacious and it's maintenance is extremely good. Suitable for family, business and Solo stay. My special mention about General ***ager, Mr Nijo Augustin who made me more comfortable with his warmth and smile . He was always there to accomodate any special request of mine. He ***** with ***ager Mr Joe Mathews and the entire team were extremely helpful. With the famous Annapoorna Restaurant attached to the property, you have a dream combo of excellent Stay and Food options and right at the heart of the city. What more you need.

Excellent place to stay. Big thanks to Nijo and team for taking care of us and all our guests in the best possible ***ner. There was an unexpected medical emergency, Nijo was swift in arranging support while we were not around and took care of the family. This timely help means a lot to us as we were gearing up for a family function. I would strongly advocate this place for a safe, luxurious and pleasant stay.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. Room was very clean, spacious well equipped and comfortable. The staffs at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable and pleasant. The location was perfect and the food was delicious and had great variety of options

The hotel is in a great location. Reservation went well. It was in the system and the room was allocated immediately. There are few issues though. Here is one by one, in detail. 1. I use my own ayurvedic soap. There is absolutely no place to keep the soap in the shower room, other than the floor. Felt like they are forcing me to use only their soap in the dispenser. At last I had to bring the chair, keep it outside the shower door, keep the soap on it, open the door and take the soap when I need it and use it. Highly inconvenient. This is the first hotel where I faced with this problem. It is easy to fix and hope they will take care of it. 2. When Mike Tyson was interviewed when he was in Jail on what he wants to do first as soon as he gets out of jail, he said " I want to take a bath". In the jail he could take only a shower. That was the case in this star hotel too. There is no bucket or mug or a water sprout. Maintenance team did provide me with a bucket/pail and a mug. Thanks a lot for that. Still the choice was overhead shower or hand shower. I could drop the hand shower into the bucket to fill it up to take bath with the mug. Inconvenient. 3. I carry my own water bottle to reduce plastic waste. IKON by Annapoorna is willing to give me as ***y 1/2L plastic water bottles as I need without any charge, but unwilling to fill my water bottle. I called room service to get warm water in a jar or in my bottle. They refused and asked me to contact maintenance. Called maintenance and the maintenance gentle*** brought ***y water bottles and asked me to heat it using the kettle in the room and pour it into my bottle. Defeats my purpose as I have to open the plastic bottles. He said I can go to first floor hotel and ask them. Went there. Couple of servers asked me to ask some other server. At last one server was kind enough to fill my 1L water bottle. I tipped him more than two 1/2L bottles worth as I found one person that day who knows little bit of customer service. Later a maintenance person did say they have a water dispenser in their backroom for their use. They made me to talk to 5 people and run around for more than an hour to save 2 plastic bottles. How much would it cost for Annapoorna to provide a water dispensing station per floor or one in the whole property to start with? They charge more than Rs 4000 per night per room. I am sure more and more people will carry their water bottles to save on plastic. Honestly, hope ***agement does not have people who insist on "my way or highway"(water in plastic bottles only, showers only, our soap only etc) or political ideologues who force their thoughts and ways on all their customers also. 4. They have centralized A/C and centralized fire extinguishers which are great. There is a vent right about the work table. When the A/C was running I could not sit there and work. This may be difficult to fix. Also I could not see a remote for the A/C. I had to get up and go to the wall to reduce the airflow o

The highlight of staying at IKON by Annapoorna is the staff. Everyone is so friendly and attentive to any need you might have. The doormen, especially Sathaiah, were always willing to help us find anything local that we needed. The room service was always fast and the food arrived hot. And the cleaning staff, especially Karan, made our room up fresh every time. The front desk staff made check-in easy and quick. My partner Maya and I felt that the hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. We originally planned to stay there for 3 days but ended up staying a full week. If we ever return to Coimbatore, we will definitely stay at IKON by Annapoorna again. Thank you to the entire staff that treated us like family.
