First time at Hampton and we would love to go back. The rates were good, the rooms were clean, and the service in the dining areas was very good. There needs to be a higher level of communication. Took us nearly 2 hours to check in without anyone communicating with us throughout that time as to the status of our room until it was finally ready. We had 2 small dogs and waiting that long was uncomfortable. The breakfast was free so you can't beat that but it was not what you would call excellent. The television was difficult to decipher and finding channels was not easy. The food at Cabana was very good and the service was outstanding! The two young ladies there on Friday afternoon were exceptional. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The views were gorgeous and the beach was not overly crowded.
