Es liegt etwas weit von der Stadt entfernt, also nehmen Sie einen Bus, um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen! Ich musste am nächsten Tag frühmorgens einen Flug nach Wellington nehmen, daher war die Lage großartig, da es direkt neben dem Flughafen lag :-) Es gab auch eine Vielzahl von Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, darunter einen großen Supermarkt, Subway und McDonald's. Eine große interessante Einrichtung für Rucksacktouristen ist die Lounge, und die Christchurch YHA Lounge war schön und geräumig mit einer Vielzahl von Hängematten und Spielen! Oh, und ich habe spät eingecheckt, während ich in der Stadt gespielt habe, aber ich konnte mit der neuesten Technologie, einem Tablet, einchecken. Wenn Sie spät abends einchecken, müssen Sie die Reservierungsinformationen genau kennen :-)

Best park we have stayed in across NZ. The experience was seamless and professional from the moment we arrived to the moment we left 4 days later. Our flight arrived earlier from Australia and travelling with two young tired toddlers the staff were extremely accommodating in letting us check in earlier. We booked the three bedroom cabin and loved that it had been newly renovated from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedrooms. I loved the themed NZ images they had around the cabin and it was spacious and very clean. A big highlight was the free amenities that this park offered. It has a new jumping pillow, playground and heated pool, which allowed our kids freedom to play and meet the other children travelling and staying in the park. They also that these really cool pedal bikes that we used (free) to cycle around the park. We were grateful that there was a petrol station and Burger king right out front which allowed us to get what we needed without driving into town after a long journey. The proximity to the airport was great, taking the pressure off us in regards to additional travel time. Would highly recommend and we look forward to returning.

This lovely B&B was our final stop on our 12 day road trip, and was a very pleasant surprise! The owners have thought of everything, are so welcoming, and don’t just provide accomodation! We stayed in the gorgeous pool studio, which is large (much bigger than a hotel /motel studio), has a separate bedroom, a good size modern bathroom, and roomy living area with a well stocked kitchenette. With breakfast included, this had yummy and fresh home made bacon and egg pie, cereal (including good quality muesli), bread, muffins, juice, snacks etc! The pool and spa were amazing too and the gardens well organised to ensure staying there is private. Great for couples, families, friends etc. It’s located in a lovely suburb, 5 minutes drive from the airport but also only 15 minutes drive to the city centre. Highly recommend and for what’s included the cost is very reasonable. When we visit Chch again we will sure try book here for longer!

Late arrival (after midnight) so forespurgte bis zu einem späteren Abreisedatum. Trotz der Zahlung des vollen Preises für ein Zimmer, das wir nur für weniger als 11 Stunden verwendet haben, konnten sie nicht (würden sie nicht?) uns einen späten Auscheck ohne die gezahlte Gebühr anbieten. Frühstück ist auch teuer bei $35 pro Person (inc. Kinder) so haben wir das verpasst. Zimmer sauber mit erwarteten Einrichtungen, obwohl ein bisschen Nasen am Morgen, als wir auf dem Boden waren und es gab eine Gruppe von Leuten, die laut vor dem Zimmer chatten. Bett schön und komfortable jedoch, Dusche Wasserkraft enttäuschend. Der Kundenservice bei der Eincheckung war nicht zu begrüßen, aber das weibliche Personal, mit dem wir auscheckten, war informativ.

Wir halten hier für eine Nacht zwischen Picton und Mt Cook auf. Das Motel war auf einer Hauptstraße und nahe SH1, aber setzte sich zurück und ruhig sauber und angenehm. Der Manager/Eigentümer waren freundlich, hilfsbereit und angenehm, vor allem nachdem wir unseren Radio hinter uns verließen. Sie setzen uns glücklich wieder die Post nach dem Preis, den wir bezahlen, zurück. Ja - sehr empfohlen.

Staff is very friendly and check in on counter was fairly easy. The staff saw that we had a lot of luggages and let us bring the airport trolley to our room. So the next day we just push the trolley from hotel to airport. Which is very convenient for us with many luggages. I will definitely come back this hotel again for next stay due to the location and friendly staff. Hotel buffet was good too. And nice view from the restaurant.

The V motel is conveniently located within walking distance of a shopping mall and grocery store and a 15-minute drive to the airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is large, clean and very well-equipped. It has all the things that a business traveller needs, except for an iron and ironing board. The bed is comfortable and the towels and linings are clean. The Sony TV is large with Youtube and Netflix. It even provides some cereals and bananas, milk and yogurt for breakfast or snacks. The internet is fast and instructions, passwords are clear and easy to follow. Lastly, the price is fair and very affordable. I highly recommend this motel and would come back to it the next time.
