Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed my time here. The service is amazing. We went on a hike and went bird watching and both experiences were really good. The food and drinks selection in the hotel is great. The staff are lovely, really helpful and friendly. The view over the wet wand is also incredible.

Beautiful expansive views of wetlands area - the only place like it in six weeks of travel all over Laos. Meticulously built private lodges with spectacular sunrise views. Every detail of the lodges thought out. Adventurous and fun optional day long bike ride to a secretive waterfall and through backroad villages and fields. Very strenuous and totally worth it. Do not miss this amazing lodge.

Amazing location in Xe Pian National Park close to wetlands and an authentic Lao village. Enjoyed the half day trek and dug out canoeing with local guides. Good food and friendly staff. Peace and quiet, sounds of nature and buffaloes grazing. Nice bungalows with soothing views. Kick back and enjoy.

We stayed 2 nights at Kingfisher Ecolodge which is a wonderful place to get away from everything, appreciate the beautiful Lao scenery, enjoy some wildlife spotting, and understand the rural way of life of Laos. The lodge itself is set in the beautiful countryside on the Kiat Ngong Wetlands. Ban Kiat Ngong, the local village nearby, is a very traditional rural Lao village, with dirt roads. All the locals were very welcoming and were happy to say hello as you walked round the village so don't hesitate to go there. The wetland boat ride (a must do) was wonderful, with great opportunities to spot wildlife and watching the daily life at the wetlands. The rooms are individual stilted bungalows set in the forest with views out onto the wetlands. The Deluxe bungalow was a good size, clean and well presented with a large bed, ceiling fans, air conditioning, private bathroom, and your own balcony with a beautiful view over the wetlands. The pool is very nice too and overlooks the wetlands as well. The restaurant at the lodge provided very delicious food. Wifi works OK in the restaurant. A few points - The lodge is maybe a little down at heel, but we heard that it's due to the Elephants which are no longer in the area. Also, room and guided trips offered in the guidebook are a bit too pricy for what it is and needs to be reconsidered to get more guest staying. We were the only guest there and seems this has been like this for quite some time when speaking to locals and business owners in Laos. Overall, a great place with a lot of potential. It's definitely worth to stay couple nights to recharge and enjoy the peacefulness.

Pour le calme et la beauté du site Très joli ecolodge avec un accueil charmant Bungalow Deluxe très confortable. Décor sobre et chic. Cuisine délicieuse et bien copieuse : mention spéciale pour le mango sticky rice. Et puis surtout une journée à vélo à à découverte de la campagne et de villages superbes Pause avec des fruits délicieux près d’une cascade pour se rafraîchir et puis pique nique tout aussi délicieux avec un accueil improvisé par un couple d’agriculteurs installé dans une cabane pour la saison du manioc. Quelle gentillesse et partage spontané ! Mention spéciale à Von notre jeune guide adorable avec lequel nous avons beaucoup appris.

À fuir ! Les bungalows commencent à fatiguer sérieusement. Les repas sont hyper longs et beaucoup de plats manquent la carte . Le service de pressing rend les vêtements abîmés et ils ne faut pas être pressés . Quand aux excursions qui n’avaient pas été revus depuis 2020 , ( visite d’une ferme à vers à soie alors qu.il n.y’a plus de production de puis le Covid ,et randonnée pour aller se baigner dans une cascade sans reconnaissance préalable : les guides ne retrouvaient pas le chemin et essayeaient de faire le chemin à la machette , trop de végétation et pas de possibilités de baignade ) Regrettable sans parler de l’etat de la piscine :sale , verte , trouble … Très Dommage car le lieu a du potentiel. Nous avons perdus 2 jours dans notre voyage à cause de ce laisser aller .

Très bel endroit, vue exceptionnelle sur les wetlands. Restaurant très agréable et très bonne restauration. Personnel très attentionné. Un petit effort à fournir sur le service à la piscine et un petit regret, l anglais un peu juste du traducteur lors de la marche en forêt avec un guide local.

Dans un cadre somptueux, calme et reposant. Un service de qualité, une très belle chambre, spacieuse, un balcon agréable pour profiter des coucher de soleil. Seule bémol, la piscine n'était pas utilisable, ce qui aurait été agréable pendant les heures de très forte chaleur. Quelques excursions possible aux alentours, un site spectaculaire à moins d'une heure de marche (sous un soleil de plomb).
