Returning yet again, have been staying here for over 10 years, missed 2021 due to COVID19 regulations. Very spacious hotel in a beautiful setting, perhaps slightly worn around the edges but the pool and gardens are immaculately kept. Spacious room overlooking the pool and beach. The entrance lobby is stunning with seating areas to relax. The village nearby is struggling since covid and we try and patronise it as much as we can. The local family run restaurants serve traditional Thai cuisine at extremely reasonable prices. The hotel is also conveniently located for Hua Hin and Cha Am easily accessible by taxi. We will definitely return.

Was looking for a 3-bedroom villa in Hua Hin and found Veranda Resort via Agoda. Quite impressed by their online photos and made the booking almost immediately. The resort ambience was indeed amazing when we reached. After our check-in while the receptionist was walking us to our villa, I was shocked to realise that our 3-bedroom luxury pool villa is situated across the road at the annex building with no sea view. I expressed disappointment but the receptionist just went on to promote the other good things about the villa which I do agree. The 3-bedroom villa has 2 floors and is huge and clean. We entered into the dining area with a big comfortable sofa and a kitchenette at the side. Moving into the big living hall, there is a bigger sofa and TV with direct access to the in-villa pool. The master bedroom on the ground floor comes with a super king bed. On the 2nd floor, there is 1 bedroom with a king bed and another 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. The only downside is no sea view (especially when Hua Hin is a beach area). On the 2nd day, we attended their cocktail party by the seaside and shared our disappointment when the resort General Manager Mr Jamnong was doing his rounds and asked for our feedback. He immediately offered to change our rooms. He was very nice and mindful that it would be a downgrade and asked if we are alright with it. We were more than happy to get rooms with sea view and took up the offer. As it was a ”downgrade” from our 3-bedroom luxury pool villa to 3 individual deluxe rooms, he also offered complimentary high tea and dinner for our group. He really went beyond the miles to make his guests happy and happier. We were really impressed with his top notch service recovery and will definitely be recommending this resort to our family and friends for the beautiful scenery, luxurious accommodation and staff with great service.

Das Hotel war sehr schön und gemütlich, vor allem die Poolseite ist großartig. Wir hatten unser Zimmer an der Poolseite, das auch einen schönen Blick und Sonnenschein hat zu haben Balkon. Sauberkeit in den Zimmern ist sehr gut, Reinigung auf täglicher Basis. Die Pidgeons überall machen ihre Pflicht auf dem Balkon und anderswo, was ein bisschen unbehaglich ist. Restaurant(en) und Bar(en) sind gut, natürlich nur ein bisschen preiswerter als auf der Straße, aber komfortabel. Frühstück ist sehr reich, obwohl einige Produkte unsere häufig waren, wie Saft. Lage nur wenige Meter vom Strand ist groß und alle möglichen Geschäfte und eine große Auswahl an Restaurants überall. Wir mögen viel dieses Hotel und können wirklich wieder kommen!

Nehmen Sie die Familie zu entspannen Alle mögen es sehr. Unterkünfte am Meer, Aufenthalt im 6. Stock, kann die Meerblick aus jedem Zimmer sehen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und sauber. Sehr gutes Servicepersonal Frühstück ist sehr lecker. In der Nähe von vielen Attraktionen in der Nähe 7-11 vor dem Hotel gibt es leckere Restaurants kostenlos.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön, der Service einzigartig. Wir wurden herzlich mit einem Erfrischungsgetränk in der Lobby empfangen. Danach wurden wir zu unserem Zimmer gebracht, alles wurde durch einen freundlichen Mitarbeiter erklärt. Das Hotelzimmer war gross, hell und sauber. Jeden Tag wurde es gereinigt, neue Handtücher bereitgelegt. Ein Balkon mit Blick auf den Hoteleingang war dabei. Der Swimmingpool mit Blick auf das Meer war atemberaubend. Das Restaurant in dem wir das Abendessen zu uns nahmen war ebenfalls mit Blick auf das Meer wunderschön. Der Service war einzigartig, das Personal super nett und zuvorkommend. Waren immer darauf bedacht das es uns an nichts fehlte. Der Abschied fiel schwer, denn es war ein traumhafter Urlaub in einem tollen Land, mit sehr freundlichen, entspannten Menschen die uns den hektischen Alltag in unserer Heimat vergessen ließen. Sehr gerne kommen wir, wenn es uns möglich ist, in dieses wunderschöne Land sowie Resort wieder.

Ein wunderschönes Resort mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Alle Mitarbeiter grüßen Sie, wenn Sie sie treffen. Das Frühstück ist der Extraklasse, selten gesehen was man hier bekommt und alles super lecker. Das Resort liegt etwas vom Zentrum von Hua Hin entfernt, sodass Sie ein Auto benötigen, um dorthin zu gelangen. Das einzig Negative, auf das ich hinweisen kann, sind die Preise auf der Speisekarte. Wir hatten am Anreisetag etwas gegessen und bei Erhalt der Rechnung kommen noch 7% Mehrwertsteuer und 10% Servicekosten dazu. Nicht, dass mir das die Welt ausmacht, das kommt mir ein bisschen wie Betrug vor. Wir hätten dort gegessen, wenn die Preise auf der Speisekarte korrekt gewesen wären, weil Sie wissen, dass es teurer ist, wenn Sie dort essen, oder in einem Restaurant, aber ich fühlte mich trotzdem ein bisschen in die Tasche gesteckt. Das funktioniert bei mir nur 1 x und ich habe dort auch nichts anderes gegessen.

Le prix de l’hébergement: nous avons eu l’impression d’avoir payé très cher. Hotel in dieser Zeit hauptsächlich von den Norwegern besetzt, die intarissable auf die fehlende Wartung der Räume und Ausrüstungen sind. Die Schwimmbadschale hat vor drei oder vier Jahren einen Spaziergang verloren, aber das wurde noch nicht repariert. Weitere Details, das Hotel wusste nicht, was eine Kopflampe war, nur ein Deckmantel beleuchtete das Zimmer.

Den Preis wert, gutes Zimmer, als sauber angesehen. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es nur auf dem Parkplatz, ca. 200 Meter zu Fuß entfernt, im Bereich von Kneipen und Bars. Aber der Raum hält den Lärm von außen gut ab. Aber drinnen behalte ich es nicht. Menschen, die herumlaufen und laute Geräusche machen Das Frühstück ist gut. Das Meer ist zu Fuß ganz in der Nähe. Das Gebäude ist gut, nicht schäbig, nicht gruselig. Sehr lohnenswert.

This hotel is not exactly smack in the middle of Cha-am nor Hua Hin. However, it is a true retreat by itself. Like an oasis that pops in the middle of the rural landscape just north of Cha-am, the weekend here was a bustle of activities. Very popular with families with kids. There were so many kids here filling up the main and kids’ pool on Saturday. As the weekend ended, on the late afternoon of Sunday and a good half of Monday, the resort turned peaceful. Finally, there was more water then Children. The kiddy pool has a large air-filled dome sprouting water sky high. Both kids and adults were having fun climbing up and sliding down the feature. In the main pool, they have a permanent floating obstacle course called a Wibit. It was enjoyable watching people, including children, crash and fall into the water as they attempted to complete the course. So Sofitel Hua Hin is just filled to the brim with amenities. They have a kids’ club, a mini golf full of mythical figurines and a cycling track. One can ride their complementary bicycle, or have children rent their mini mopeds, scooters and other toy-ish vehicles. They have a games room (but it was hot), a mini tennis court and a bigger one that doubles as a basketball court. 4 pools in total on this land parcel perpendicular to the sea. The one near the beachfront has a jacuzzi, and there is yet another one in front of the gym. A beach restaurant fringes the not so friendly ocean. The sea was rough and murky. The water came up the break wall that prevents the garden from spilling into the sea. There is a mini sand beach with a few deck chairs, but it wasn’t much of a beach. Breakfast and dinner, we had them in their main restaurant called White Oven. It was really an oven, the air-conditioning needs some work. Otherwise it was pleasing to sit outdoors in the light morning breeze. The breakfast was extensive, a good wide mix of local and western dishes. Moo Ping (pork satays morning version) was superbly tasty and tender. The gravy for Kanom Jin (Thai rice noodle) was of a good rich density. There was also ice cream served in the buffet. However, the chicken rice was off, and their Pla Tong Kor (dough fritters) was a failure in texture and in taste. For the two mornings I had them, I do not know if it was just me, they had a strong hint of something medical. The room we had was So Family that has two bunk beds tucked into the side behind the master bed. The room was a whopping 60 square meters and was intensely decorated. If you live in a condominium, you will wish your studio is as trendy as this. The bathroom is massive. I love the floor to ceiling shower best. They have push buttons to turn on the water. There is one that produce moderate rain, another for heavy rain, and I was looking for the third that produce hurricane. It is not available. Everywhere in the room, there are mini statues of rabbits. One is beside the loo looking at me doing my business. When my daughter was taking too l

Hier blieb es viele Male. Dieses Mal ein wenig enttäuscht, als die Dusche war nur kaltes Wasser. Aber überall glücklich mit diesem Familienhotel. Ideal für viele Besucher, Familien möchten vielleicht ein Hinterzimmer reservieren, wie vielleicht ein wenig laut in der Nacht in den Vorzimmern. Ich werde zurück.
