The room was comfortable and all the necessary amenities are provided. There was also a nice pool on the top floor that offered a nice view far away. The location of the hotel was pretty good as it was near a couple of local coffeeshop that serves nice delicious local breakfast kolo mee. A short grab ride around 4-6rm away was chinatown that we explored. This was a short trip to attend a friend’s wedding dinner. Hence the exploration was short n simple. We shall stay here again if we come back to kuching for our next trip.

Great service. Air con was cold here. Counter staff were friendly and address to any concern/questions u ask confidently. Strategic place. Just beside a mall and located near to a lot of attractions and other malls.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Miri city, right in front of the Seahorse Waterfront. My room, which was upgraded as my original booking was full, faced the river and offered a stunning view, especially during sunrise and sunset—a gesture I truly appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, particularly with the added benefit of 24-hour gym access. The gym facilities and equipment were impressive compared to those in other hotels I’ve experienced. I will definitely return, not only for the excellent amenities and facilities but also for the outstanding service provided by the staff in taking care of their guests.

Sehr gut, das Hotel Nummer eins in Kuching. Das Zimmer ist nicht sehr groß, aber sehr sauber und neu. Der Raum ist nicht feucht. Das Abendbuffet war gut. Es liegt direkt am Sarawak-Fluss, der sich sehr gut zum Joggen eignet. Der Königspalast und das Parlamentsgebäude liegen auf der anderen Seite des Flusses und bieten einen perfekten Blick auf den Fluss.

Das Hotel liegt gegenüber dem Lebensmittelladen Everise. Man findet alles, was man braucht, ganz einfach. In der Nähe gibt es viele gute Lebensmittel (in derselben oder gegenüber des Ladens). Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Ich war der Rezeption wirklich dankbar, dass sie sich meinen Wunsch angehört hat, das Zimmer schöner zu machen, und sie haben sogar eine Geburtstagskarte für meinen besten Freund geschrieben. Ich weiß die Mühe wirklich zu schätzen!!!! Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass sie mir zuhören würden, aber ich bin froh, dass sie es getan haben. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hierher kommen, vielleicht buche ich das nächste Mal eine Suite. Das Deluxe-Zimmer ist mir ein bisschen zu klein.

Alles ist perfekt. Strategische Lage in der Nähe des Flusses oder der Skyline und des Denkmals von Kuching. Großes Zimmer, Badewanne, schöne Aussicht. Frühstück mit großer Auswahl..

Ideally located 1km to Vivacity mall; food cafes n Mita bakery are in d front shop lots . Highly recommend to eat at nearby 'Darling hotpot' whose vast menu n friendly service leave a good taste on our palates. Sadly, our room 309 has quite a few issues: 1. Door handle is hard to press down to enter room 2. Noisy bathroom door hinges need oiling 3. Ventilation fan in bathroom not working 4. Room floor needs vacuuming, found hair n snacks fm previous guests However, I will stil give a full 5 stars for the friendliness and service oriented staff which are the pride of 56 Hotel. Btw, this is our 2nd stay in 56 Hotel. Will try their new block in our next visit.

Das Hotelzimmer war groß und sauber. Das Frühstück war überdurchschnittlich und entsprach meinen Erwartungen. Die Sarawak Laksa-Nudeln waren tatsächlich sehr lecker.

The hotel was so nice , I have booked one person solo room , it feels very homely and comfortable. I even nap in the hotel on afternoon after morning hiking , it so much like home. The amenities is good and very clean. Breakfast not much option , but Kuching is surrounded by nice food , so I just grab a coffee and light meal in the hotel breakfast , sit in the hotel restaurant and enjoy, then walk to nearby shop for fuller breakfast. There are plenty of food , convenient stall and even famous butter cake mita in walking distance (around 5min). As a solo traveller , I strongly recommend this hotel , it makes me feel safe and not afraid to sleep alone at night time. Will definitely to stay here again if visit Kuching. 😊
