Absolut erstklassiger Service. Der Duft ätherischer Öle in der Hotellobby sorgt für ein sehr gutes Gefühl. Freundliches Thekenpersonal. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für zwei Personen gebucht, aber sie erlaubten uns trotzdem, zu dritt zu übernachten. Das Zimmer ist sauber und die Dusche ist groß. Das Zimmer wurde vom Zimmermädchen gut instand gehalten. Sehr höflich. Gute Lage, gegenüber der Carpenter Street mit viel lokalem und westlichem Essen. *Der einzige Wermutstropfen war, dass um 5 Uhr morgens ein sehr „frommer“ Muslim lautstark im Radio skandierte und die Leute beim Schlafen störte, sodass der Segen zu einem ** wurde. Ich hoffe auch, dass das Hotel die Schalldämmung des Glases verbessern kann.

The hotel provides great basic amenities for me to have a comfortable stay. The location is great, only 2-min walk to the cat statue and then can continue walking along the waterfront. The breakfast buffet spread also decent, i love their fried rice and fresh pineapple and orange juice. The staff also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great service!

Insgesamt ein ordentliches Hotel. Gute Lage für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp, wenn Sie sich nur in der Nähe des Flughafens aufhalten.

Dieses Hotel bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ist gut gelegen – direkt am Wasser und in fußläufiger Entfernung zu vielen Restaurants, Museen, Sehenswürdigkeiten usw. Das Hotel könnte zwar eine Renovierung vertragen, aber für den Preis und die Lage kann man sich nicht beschweren. Das Bett war sauber und bequem (fest), die Dusche hatte einen guten Wasserdruck und das Zimmer war mit Kühlschrank, Safe und Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Frühstück würde ich nicht empfehlen – 25 Ringgit für ein kontinentales Frühstück sind viel Geld, vor allem, da es in der Nähe so viele gute und viel günstigere Alternativen gibt. Vorteile: Tolle Lage, guter Preis, gute Klimaanlage, Safe, Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett, Kühlschrank, gute Dusche. Nachteile: Etwas abgewohnt (wenn auch sauber), wenige Annehmlichkeiten. Ich würde wieder dort übernachten.

Ich blieb sechs aufeinanderfolgende Tage, weil mein Flug bis Mitternacht verspätet war. Ich fragte das Hotel, ob ich den Check-out um 12 Uhr verschieben könne, aber dann kam es zu Verspätung Für die Verspätung bis 17 Uhr werden MYR 11 berechnet. Nach 7 Uhr wird der gesamte Zimmerpreis berechnet, da es in der Nähe des Flughafens liegt. Es gibt keine zeitliche Begrenzung für die Fahrt mit dem Auto zum Flughafen. Sie werden dann einen Wagen organisieren, der Sie dorthin bringt. Warten Sie am Flughafen bei Nr. 3. Steigen Sie ebenfalls bei Nr. 3 aus.

Im alten Flügel (Block, wo die Hauptlobby ist) bleiben. Alles braucht eine Upgrade. Von der Teppich bis zu den Türen des Kabinetts und Arbeitsdesk, die Stromanschlüsse auf der Wand, dem Telefon, dem Badezimmer mit Form in den Ecken usw. es ist auch immer kalt im alten Flügel. Es schlief ohne jeden Abend auf den Luftkon. Das Frühstück war Buffetstil und hatte eine gute Variante. Aber für mich war das einzige, was gut war, die Kaffeemaschine. Vielleicht auch, weil ich in dieser Stadt viele Male war und ich weiß, es gibt eine Menge gutes Essen nur wenige Minen zu Fuß. Das Haus war aber großartig. Das Bad war gut. Das Bad war gut. Viele andere Hoteloptionen in der Stadt; ich würde diese nicht empfehlen.

The most noteworthy feature of this hotel is the incredibly spacious rooms. After researching all the available options in Bintulu, I can confidently say that Goldenbay Hotel offers the best value for money. I would certainly choose to stay here again on my next visit to the area. The amenities were another high point of the trip. It was a lucky coincidence that a comb was provided, as I had forgotten to pack one. Furthermore, I was impressed by the quality of the hair and body shampoos. It is rare for me to enjoy hotel-provided toiletries, but these left me feeling truly clean and lathered up well. To top it off, the rooftop offers a gorgeous view, especially during sunset. However, there were a few drawbacks during my stay. I booked two rooms; while my room was fine, the second room had significant lighting issues. Although the reception sent a technician to help, they only managed to fix one light. Even after the repair, that room remained much dimmer than mine. Additionally, the bidet in my own bathroom was leaking. It felt a bit ironic to see multiple signs encouraging guests to save water and use the bidet instead of paper when the fixture itself wasn't working properly. Lastly, the breakfast was a bit of a letdown. The selection was quite limited, and the taste was only average. If I return to this hotel in the future, I would likely book a room-only rate and find breakfast elsewhere.

The checking-in was swift and efficient, thank you front desk staff of the day. :) We managed to check in a little after 2pm. We were given a room at the corner (usually i don't prefer corner room but only found out after we went up). First impression of the room - Room look clean and neat, but the odor from the room was not pleasant at all, I kept wondering is it because of our slippers? So i put all our slippers in the bathroom. When i lied on the bed, i found 2 short hair stucked at the pillow case. That's not the worst, the pillow, the blankets smells like 'wet-dog', so now i know where that unpleasant smell came from. It was cause the of the not fully dried cases and blankets! I was kinda angry, but i endured since it was only for a night. Air-con was pleasantly cold, bathroom fully equipped, but they forgot to put toothbrushes but they sent over upon requested. What i like on that floor was there wasn't mineral water bottles given like the previous room we stayed before at same hotel, instead they provided a Coway water dispenser and i love that as we can refill our own water bottles at anytime we stay there. The hairdryer was not functioning after one use. Maybe because the coil got too hot at the first use. The room overall is a very old room, it gives me the vibe of the old Santubong Resorts Hotel's room. Old wood, Old bedframe, Old chairs and table. My suggestion would be to change the flooring to SPC Vinyl flooring, put some bright decoration like modern arts on the wall because it kinda look gloomy at scary at night. Hotel fridge is always not cold, i dunno why. And do remember to place the phone instruction and food menu because we have none of that, i was winging it when calling for toothbrush, luckily i got the number right. Anyhow, there's Watson below the hotel to buy toiletries, if you want to; and Sugarbun restaurant to fill your belly, if you don't wanna order from the hotel. Despite the old room i got, i would still stay in Hotel Simanggang for my next visit.

Das Hotelzimmer war groß und sauber. Das Frühstück war überdurchschnittlich und entsprach meinen Erwartungen. Die Sarawak Laksa-Nudeln waren tatsächlich sehr lecker.

The room is spacious and nice, the only thing is that it’s a bit old, location is good.  Housekeeping always comes early in the morning and will leave a note under your room if you put do not disturb.  Always need to ask housekeeping to come and clean the room if the paper is there, there was one day that we just put housekeeping green lights on and ignored the paper, the room was not clean when we went back at night.
