Il personale di Palazzo San Giorgio è molto disponibile e competente, mi ha fornito tutte le informazioni che ho richiesto durante il mio soggiorno (indicazioni stradali, ristoranti, musei ecc). Ho alloggiato una notte in una bellissima ed elegante junior suite, luminosa ed estremamente pulita. Ho trovato l’arredamento dell’intera struttura molto moderno e curato nei minimi dettagli. Quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stata la colazione….buffet vastissimo e tanta scelta anche alla carta. Sebbene sia molto bella la spa non è grandissima e questo la rende un ambiente accogliente. Super raccomandato!!

The hotel staff assisted us in arranging transport from Comiso when our flight was changed from Catania with less than 24 hrs notice. We are a family of four with two teenage boys. We stayed for two nights. The staff were helpful on arrival and the room Ah, the women was a good size with great bathroom and balcony. The the ceiling is decorated in a traditional Sicilian style and added to the atmosphere of our trip. Despite being in a central location the shutters and windows made for a quiet night. The breakfast was good with attentive staff. I would recommend this hotel as being just out of the central bustle of Catania but close enough to allow easy walking to all the major sights. Check out the crypts of the church at the bottom of the street. 2€ each for a personal tour.

Überraschend großartige Lage, ja es hat Charakter und das Zimmer, das wir 1 Königin und 2 Single hatten. Sehr sauber, schräg Gewebe und Handtücher. Hohe Decken Sehr geräumig, ein Balkon mit Blick auf die PLAZA. Ich liebe den Buzz der Leute und Autos unten, da ich sehr europäisch fühlte. Wandern Sie von den Geschäften und Restaurants, brauchen Sie sicher ein Auto nach Mt Etna, aber Sie können es von 10mt vom Hotel sehen. Der Gastgeber mit einem schönen Namen Archangle war sehr willkommen und freundlich. Obwohl dieses Gebäude alt ist, aber so ist Catania, so gibt es keine Aufzüge, aber der Spaziergang war ok.

Mein Freund und ich blieben hier für ein paar Tage im September für die Dauer unseres Besuchs in Catania. Martina war so wunderschön und hilfreich - sie empfahl Restaurants, gab uns Informationen über die Navigation des öffentlichen Verkehrs und ging aus ihrem Weg, um uns auf jeden Fall zu beherbergen. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, sauber und der Luftkon war ein Gott senden! Wir werden sicher zurück sein - dank Martina und ihr Personal für einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Wir hatten dieses Hotel vor allem wegen seiner zentralen Lage und seiner Barrierefreiheit reserviert. Es ist kein normales Hotel, sondern eher ein Apartment mit Zimmern und befindet sich im zweiten Stock eines älteren Gebäudes. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und ein Bad nützlich, aber wahrscheinlich brauchen Renovierung. Zimmer, die der Straße gegenüberstehen, sind vom Lärm einer besetzten Straße ganz Tag und Nacht unterworfen. Die Rezeption ist nicht offen 24/7, aber außerhalb von Stunden mit Schlüsseln zugänglich. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Als wir ankamen, lief ein Konzert in der Stadt. Daher war es sehr voll und ein Parkplatz war in der Umgebung nicht zu finden. Daher notgedrungen in der Tiefgarage geparkt. Den Preis dafür finde ich total überzogen. Gut war, dass wir diesen noch bis nachmittags am Abreisetag nutzen konnten. Das Zimmer war normaler Standard. Insbesondere das Bad war schon ordentlich in die Jahre gekommen und nicht sauber. Die Trennwand der Dusche war total bespritzt. Der Ausblick ebenerdig zum Hof auch nicht schön. Da wir nur eine Nacht da waren, hat es nicht weiter gestört. Das Frühstück fand ich sehr enttäuschend, keine große Auswahl und nichts Regionales. Das Ambiente: ohne Fenster mit Ausblick in die Lobby. Mit der Dachterrasse wird geworben: Lassen Sie sich nicht täuschen, der Ausblick ist nicht besonders. Insgesamt fand ich, dass das Hotel kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bietet und würde dort nicht noch einmal übernachten.

Excellent location on Via Etna facing Stesicora square. The entrance is in via Neve a narrow side road off via Etna ( it is not an alley way ) . Metro 200metres up the road . Tourist buses operate right outside. Fabio arranged airport pickup for us . We were met at airport and when we arrived in Stesicora square someone was waiting for us . They took our case and directed us to the property. Yes there are a lot of stairs up to the hotel but it’s a very old building. We’re in our 60s and managed the stairs several times a day . Believe me once you enter you’ll be more than happy to climb them every day . The hotel has been tastefully decorated to a high standard.Large room with all amenities. Fabio is an excellent host . He speaks faultless English. And he goes over and beyond to make your stay the most pleasurable it can be . He is very experienced in hospitality. And it shows . He is very proud of the hotel and so he should be . For breakfast you receive a voucher daily to use in cafe Scardaci opposite the hotel .This works really well . There’s a great choice of sweet and savouries . And of course excellent coffee . We’d highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Catania. And would definitely stay again if we return to Sicily .
