The whole hotel was shabby and not too clean but that was not a surprise as there was hardly any staff at the hotel,there was no Breakfast despite us having paid for it, and the only staff evident were a chambermaid and the maintenance man who were doing their best to help people but were unable to as it wasn’t their job they were trying to do. There was a very rude man who I spoke to on the phone when trying to organise a refund for the non existent breakfast, apparently the chef was away due to a bereavement, but no alternative arrangements had been made despite them telling us on both evening that there would be breakfast the next morning. We did eventually get our refund but it took a lot of phone calls and nearly a month for it to come through. The only good thing about the hotel was the situation as it was close to where we wanted to be, it was a real shame to see a beautiful old and historic building neglected in this way, we were looking forward to staying there as we had been told by friends what a lovely hotel it was but that was obviously before it changed hands last year. We will not be staying again or recommending it to our friends

Ich halt hier semi-regelmäßig für Arbeit und es ist immer eine angenehme Erfahrung. Das Personal ist immer Top-Level, freundlich, hilfsbereit, gutes Gespräch. Ich kann nicht verfehlen, dass dieses Hotel es’ Lage ist perfekt für das Stadtzentrum und auch wieder auf die Autobahn. Einer der Mitarbeiter Kieran hat immer ein Lächeln auf seinem Gesicht und begrüßt alle, als ob wir alten Freunde waren, die ein schönes Touch ist. Ich hatte letzte Woche eine Frage für ihn über eine zukünftige Buchung und er konnte nicht genug tun, um mir zu helfen und mit ihm zu beruhigen. Großes Vermögen für das Team Wenn Sie nach einem erschwinglichen, komfortablen Hotel suchen, sehen Sie nicht weiter als hier. Die Betten sind komfortable, Zimmer’s cozy, Frühstück im Restaurant ist auch immer schön.

The morning after the night before. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to pen a review of all things positive. Only a 1 night stop over en route to Scotland from Manchester. On arrival, front of house team Theo and Mel excelled. After a breeze of a check-in the first thing I noticed was the beautiful, spacious and most importantly clean Restaurant and bar area. Anybody staying here will not be disappointed. Thankfully dogs are welcome but kept away from main eating areas, a rule we were happy to adhere to. Theo in particular is a staff member Ibis/Accor should be extremely proud of. He was very knowledgeable about the chain and I could imagine all things Accor would be his specialised subject on Mastermind. I have stayed at the Travelodge down the rd and for a hotel of the same raring, the Ibis is streets ahead. I hope Management take the time to read this review and reward staff members (Accor)dingly. Well done!!!

Nach einer langen Autofahrt war es wunderbar, in diesem eleganten und willkommenen Hotel zu kommen. Das Rezeptionpersonal, Neil und Chelsea waren freundlich und sehr effizient. Wir hatten einen leckeren Abendessen und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr komfortabel. Das Frühstück im Esszimmer war perfekt dank der aufmerksamen Pflege von Sue, einem wirklich schönen Mitarbeiter. Wir waren nur eine Nacht geblieben, hätten aber gerne länger geblieben.

Niedrige Budget - Hoteldekor datiert - Fenster alt und schlecht gemalt. Willkommen war freundlich und hilfreich. Bar, aber keine Abendessen oder Mittagessen. Nebenan der Tür zum Carlisle-Bahnhof auf einer Seite und Costa Coffee auf der anderen Seite. Mehrere Treppen mit Fällen zu schaffen. Einzelbett war überraschend komfortable und überraschend gemütlich. Kleines Bad und Dusche - Wärmewasserspinnsel. Frühstück ausreichend - ein wenig von allem. Bacon wurde von 7.30am trocknet, aber Sausages waren lecker. Solide fritte Eier auf Angebot. Hauptsächlich gefärbte Früchte mit Apfel und Joghurt. Objektive Kaffeemaschine.... Instant ist besser .. aber sie alle tun es. Saft und frische Milch auf Angebot. Kleine Auswahl von Getreide. Mein Zimmer war billig - laut draußen... der Park hatte Ersatz-Coach-Services... aber das Schreien und Schreien schlugen rund um 1.00am. Das Hotel war warm und trocken. Ein kleiner Aufzug für einen mit Gepäck. Das Personal war sehr nett - hinterließ mein Gepäck in einem geschlossenen Zimmer, während ich ging, um mein Auto zu mieten. Ich war zu halb dem Preis ähnlicher Hotels mit geringen Einrichtungen zufrieden. Ich könnte ohne Frühstück in Zukunft tun und nach Costa gehen.

Ich brauchte nur irgendwo in der Nähe der Station Carlisle. Das war perfekt. Ich wollte mein Gepäck verlassen, während ich in die Stadt ging... normalerweise konnte ich, aber es war für Weihnachten geschlossen. Diese Art von Informationen sollte vorher verfügbar sein. Es hat was ich nur als sicher, aber ANTIQUE Aufzug beschreiben kann. Alles ist alt, aber sicher und funktional.... So sehr kleine Stadt Briten. Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und Frühstück war großartig.
