Overall a good experience at the hotel. Was greeted promptly by a staff member. Got a good room on the highest floor and the hotel was smelling of Indian spices (what a great way to start off). It was the slow season so two of the three elevators were operating. Did not wait that long. The rooms were small. Would recommend only staying about three nights. Great for people traveling business. Breakfast was good and had good seats. Wasn't crowded and did not need to come at a specific time. Laptop vault worked. The adapters did not. Luckily I got some Euro plugs which actually worked in the bathroom area (no where else). There is a USB port by the bed but those are not that quick. Wifi was good in the room but not that good in the lobby. I slept comfortably and it was quiet. Easy to get Uber. Would stay again (if I am on a short business trip). Tip: Do not exchange money at the lobby UNLESS it is an emergency. Also, know where you go and do not look lost.

Wir kamen früh so dass das Gepäck wurde gelagert, als wir eine Ausflüge bei der Ankunft zurück im Hotel wir wurden Zimmer 211 übersehen Marktplatz wir hatten keine Lärmprobleme mit Stallenhalter eingerichtet Zimmer war geräumig, aber das Badezimmer war sehr kleine, aber funktionale Tee/Kaffee-Herstellung Einrichtungen im Zimmer eine kostenlose Flasche Wasser täglich geliefert ein Safe ist auch im Zimmer alle Mitarbeiter waren hervorragend und sehr hilfsbereit das Restaurant war sehr gut wir hatten Frühstück jeden Tag gute Wahl und schön wir hatten Dinner dort einmal sehr schön auch Hotel ist sehr zentraler in der Stadt Hop auf Hop off Bus Haltestelle in der langen Straße nur um die Ecke, die wir immer sehr sicher in der Stadt gefühlt haben, aber es gibt eine Menge Sicherheitspersonal über das Hotel kann Taxis überall organisieren Sie wünschen Sie sich zu gehen VandA Wasserfront 160Rand Rückkehr sagen Fahrer wie lange Sie wollen und er holt Sie Hotel auf Flughafen 430 Rand, die ist etwa 30 Minuten entfernt, je nach Verkehrsfluss Sie buchen und bezahlen auf Concierge Desk all in allen großen Hotel mit großem Personal SCAM ALERT wir wurden von einem Kerl näher gekommen, während wir auf der langen Straße laufen und erzählt uns, dass die Straße geschlossen war, da sie filmten etwas nicht scannen Sie Ihre Debit/Kreditkarte nur weiter gehen Ich gab ihm ein wenig Missbrauch und er ging gerade weg

We stayed for a week in April while attending a conference at the Convention Centre. We had a room on the second floor facing the shipping containers near the cruise terminal. In spite of the disappointing view, the room was spacious and comfortable. The restocking of the room was random and we had to ask for water bottles or lotion. The breakfast buffet was included and the staff were wonderful. For a few days they had a separate table with vegan and gluten free items. The other days I would just ask and they would bring me gf bread or vegan yogurt. They have a shuttle going to the waterfront 3 times in the day but we never took it as the timings did not suit us. Ubers were cheap and easy to take to and from the hotel. We stored our luggage at the hotel for a few days while we went on safari and then we returned for one more night before heading home. The room we got the second time was on the third floor and we could hear a frequent loud drilling sound. The front desk didn't know where the sound was coming from but they upgraded us to a suite on the 5th floor which was huge and had a view of table mountain. This was much appreciated as we were exhausted and had a very long flight home the next day. On our final day we took the water taxi (which was a tour boat) along the canal to the V&A waterfront. This also is included by the hotel and they issue a ticket and you get the boat behind the hotel. We noticed how easy it would be to walk to the waterfront too (in daylight). The front desk staff told us not to walk to/from the convention centre after 6pm when it was dark as it was dangerous. There were guards stationed at the roundabout towards the hotel but we were told they were there to keep baboons away. We walked the short 5 minute walk in the mornings and took an uber at night. This hotel and breakfast made it worth the money, but request a room facing table mountain. Front desk staff and security were also excellent.

Das Cape Town Lodge Hotel war perfekt gelegen. Das Personal war so freundlich und effizient. Mein Zimmer hatte einen erstaunlichen Blick auf den Tischberg und war absolut perfekt für meinen Geschäftsbesuch. Das Zimmer war frisch und sauber. Ich habe meinen Kleiderschrank im Zimmer verlassen und das Hotelpersonal hat ihn ins Haus geliefert und mich in Durban zurückgeschickt.

Der Aufenthalt war brillant .... Ich kann nicht über etwas ... Freundliches Personal und großartige Service von der Zeit, die Sie in die Zeit, bis Sie verlassen ..... Die Verfügbarkeit des Personals, das auf den Räumlichkeiten ist, um Ihnen zu helfen, ist groß ... Nicht, dass es jemals zu diesem kommen ist Punkt ... Wo es notwendig war, sie zu kontaktieren spät nite ... Brillante Service, das ist definitiv mein neuer Getaway-Spot von zu Hause.

The hotel is very well placed to visit the Waterfront. Parking is safe and secure. Our room was a bit noisy ie we could hear the other guests. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I have seen in any hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our car was valet parked for us.

Das Hotel ist sehr angenehm, sowohl angesichts der empfänglichen und vorsorglichen Mitarbeiter, als auch weil die Zimmer sehr gut eingerichtet, groß und komfortabel sind. Das Design ist mutig, mit einer Originalität in der Atmosphäre und der Verfügbarkeit. Die Dusche ist ein 1.2 Meter Durchmesser Rohr, in der Mitte des Raumes. Es stimmt, dass der Zugang zum Wäscheschrank und zum Bad nicht optimal ist, aber es gibt eine WAOUH-Effekt. Das Bett vor dem riesigen Glasbay bietet ein Gefühl, fast draußen zu sein. Nach der Lage des Zimmers ist die Aussicht auf Table Mountain Auf der Ebene der Lärmlosigkeit ist es sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück ist ziemlich gut, mit der Möglichkeit, eine vor Ihnen gekühlte Omelette (mit einer Menge Zutaten, wenn Sie es wünschen) zu servieren oder Eier zu bekommen, die auf der Küche gegessen werden oder gemahlene Eier. Und dann vor allem für ein kontinentales Frühstück. Das Personal sorgt immer dafür, dass alles perfekt ist. Um zu fertig zu sein, sind Sie auf Canal Walk, also sind alle Geschäfte in der Nähe (Großes Handelszentrum 250 m) aber Sie können auch entlang des Kanals gehen oder ein Glas auf den wenigen Terrassen umgeben gehen. Es gibt einen Poolraum, der das Hotel überspringt, und einen Sparaum für diejenigen, die es wünschen.

Fantastic stay. Kevin and Herman were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lovely beds. Had two trips out with Herman. He is an excellent guide - took us on a peninsula tour taking in beaches that are not accessible by commercial tour operators. Having seen the freshly caught fish at Simons Town harbour and getting a hankering for fresh fish our wish was Kevin's command and he cooked us some lovely Kingklip. Had a tour to the winelands with Herman who handpicked the best of the wine farms (again far superior to the commercial operators) our stay was finished off with a shuttle back to the airport. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.
