Basic room, basic bathroom, if it’s not sea view there is not so much daylight. Overpriced tiny sandwiches can be ordered. They give very good advice about Cape Town and sights.

Very nice day time manager. So kind. Taxi will 50% chance get lost each time. Night time manager was harder to work with, more rude.

The stay was brilliant.... I can't complain about anything... Friendly staff and great service from the time you walk in till the time you leave..... Thee availability of the staff that's on the premises to assist you is great... Not that it ever came to that point... Where it was needit to contact them late nite... Brilliant service that's definitely my new getaway spot from home.

Unas vistas de la ciudad perfectas para fotografiar....nunca para llegar andando. La habitación es correcta, la cama esa grande y muy cómoda, el baño está limpio pero el sistema del agua es poco práctico. El trato en recepción es agradable...si pillas a alguien porque casi siempre está vacía

Kleines Hotel am Rand des Signal Hill. Sehr freundliches Personal und hilfreich. Gutes Frühstück. Zimmer sind sauber und aussreichend groß. Von hier aus ist es zum Bo Kaap nur ein paar Minuten. Wir sind bei Tage zu Fuss Richtung Innenstadt, Waterfront und Castel gelaufen, ohne Probleme. Ja, es gibt unterwegs viele Bettler. Wersich jedoch auf solch eine Reise vorbereitet, sollte dass wissen. Abens fuhren wir zum Essen mit Uber hin und zurück. Die Preise sind günstig.

Wir waren dort 12 Nächte und es war eine sehr angenehme Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem und behilflichem Personal. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Die Aussicht auf die Stadt ist großartig, aber die Umgebung ist heruntergekommen und fühlt sich unsicher an. Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein und verfügt über eine erstaunliche Kombination aus Rohren und Hebeln.

The hotel owners and management in addition to TripAdvisor should be investigated for corruption! This hotel can not be classified as 4 stars hotel! Literally, it is not a hotel by any means! I do not recommend it for any traveler! ZERO score in everything! Moreover, despite the "place" has a capacity of around 10 rooms in total, they keep their room charge so high to show high traffic! I request immediately TripAdvisor to be investigated for misleading customers with sponsored adv from such supplier! This a true criminal!

The location of Signal Hill Lodge only one kilometre from center of Cape Town is very nice!! If you want to climb up to the lodge from the center - it is not easiest job but luckily you can use also taxi. People in hotel are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a beautiful location at the base of Signal Hill with lovely views across the city. It is still quite accessible and walkable to downtown attractions (I was working at the International Convention Centre and could make the walk in 30-40 minutes). The surrounding area is quiet and I felt quite safe walking during the day. The staff are all lovely and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I have no complaints about the room (not honeymoon standard perhaps but perfectly adequate for business or vacation travel). My only issue was that they must get the lower gate buzzer fixed so guests are not stranded outside!
