We love the one bedroom suite as it has an incredible two person jetted tub, and a lovely two-way fireplace. It's our go-to for a staycation or romantic getaway. The pool area is very nice, although it's all one depth (1.3m) across the entire area. There's a hot tub and sauna as well, which were a welcomed reprieve from the cold January weather.
This was our third stay, and we finally got to try the dining options this time. We ate in the bar area because the restaurant had an Indian Buffet set up, and we wanted to order off the menu. The bar is visually much nicer than the restaurant area, so this wasn't a problem. We noted there was very little staff on hand and no one sat us, we had to seat ourselves. The smell from the buffet was quite overwhelming throughout the lobby, but it didn't reach the bar area.
The food was absolutely delicious, and we will happily eat here again. The drinks were just okay- my husband had a Blue Margarita that was served in a Martini glass and tasted mostly of blended ice and not much else.
For our appetizers the Steak Bites and Truffle Fries were fantastic, and we each had the Pork Chop and New York ***** for entrees. The pork chop was a bit dry, but the mashed potatoes and vegetables served with both meals were perfect and we'll seasoned. We can't wait to try the other items offered on the menu next time. Our server Lloyd was a delight!
Overall we recommend this hotel and bar restaurant, and hope to enjoy it again in the future.
