Mr & MRS Smith Brody House

Wow, wow, wow. We stayed for 5 nights in April and I can only say it’s such a special, unique and amazing hotel and cafe. We had such a lovely time. The hotel is stunning, the staff are kind and helpful, the breakfast was out of this world (have to recommend the granola and pancakes) and the hotel room was super clean and completely amazing. The honesty bar, the amazing courtyard alongside the art and the beautiful rooms. We felt so lucky to have booked this place and wouldn’t ever want to stay anywhere else in Budapest in the future. Thank you Bródy House and The Garden Cafe. We truly did not want to leave and can’t wait to return.

The selection of fresh, locally-sourced products and delicious pastries was a perfect start to the day. The laid-back, homey vibe of the dining area made it feel like I was having breakfast in a friend's kitchen. In summary, Brody House is plain awesome. It offers a unique and memorable stay with its artistic flair, superb location, and exceptional service. Beautiful interior. Breakfast was nonexistent and very disappointing. Expensive. Good location. One night overnight stay before onward journey to Lake Balaton. I would not recommend this hotel as breakfast is an important part of our daily diet.

Unique, personal, friendly hotel which feels like you are in a home where you are so welcomed. The staff is supportive and friendly , the rooms are just amazing and all rooms are unique. The atmosphere is relaxed, trustful and artistic. If you love art and design, this is just the place to be in. Whenever we are coming back, we will for sure go back to our new home. Our stay at Brody was a delightful, art-filled retreat. Spacious and inviting, it had all the practical luxuries but without any unnecessary extravagance. We booked the Etienne room with its large, wood-panelled bath. Mornings, we drank our coffees on the vine-draped balcony overlooking the quiet courtyard. Evenings, we thumbed through the delightfully odd and eclectic bookshelf in the lounge. The location is excellent. Tucked away in the heart of Pest, we stayed for three nights and never left the neighborhood. Coffee shops, galleries, restaurants, all within a stone's throw. This won't be the fanciest, most pampered experience that Budapest has to offer, but for travellers looking for rest and a creative re-boot, there's no better stay than at Brody. We'll be back!
