Da ich Stammgast im Evolution bin und das Hotel als Ganzes sehr mag, besonders das Nachtpersonal, das immer gastfreundlich, warmherzig und nett war, hat meine letzte Reise das Ganze komplett gedreht. Mein Partner und ich haben zusammen auf meinem Konto gebucht (da ich regelmäßig reise, sind meine Prämien höher), aber mit seiner Karte bezahlt. Normalerweise erhalte ich ein kostenloses Upgrade auf mein Zimmer, aber in diesem Fall wollte ich es besonders machen und für ein Zimmer mit Aussicht extra bezahlen. Wir hatten ein kleines Eckzimmer (nicht wie die Zimmer, in denen ich vorher gewohnt hatte) und zu unserer Enttäuschung überhaupt keine Aussicht. Ich fragte dies und obwohl ich die bezahlten Extras zeigen konnte, sagte mir, dass es technisch gesehen zwischen hohen Geschäftsgebäuden ein ”Stadtblick” sei. Unsere zweite Nacht dort ging nach Süden, ohne dass die anderen dort wohnenden Personen oder das Hotelpersonal gestört wurden. Sie ignorierten nicht nur klare Anzeichen dafür, dass ein Partner versuchte, ihrem Ehepartner Ärger zu machen, sondern sie ermöglichten es und drohten mir mit der Polizei, nachdem sie versucht hatten, die Angelegenheit zu bestreiten. Ich habe vor, diese Angelegenheit weiter zu verfolgen.

Sehr freies Hotel, nicht gut, aber sehr bakteriös und sauber. Empfehlenswert! Es dauert nicht zehn Minuten, um den Stadthall durch einen kleinen Park zu gehen, die Lage ist sehr gut und schlafen Sie ruhig. Es ist nicht gut, dass Sie mit der E-Mail kommunizieren können, die Selbsthilfe abholen, sehr einfach. Wenn Sie um acht Uhr in den Laden kommen, benötigen Sie eine E-Mail, geben Sie Pass und Kreditkartenfotos, helfen Sie Ihnen zuvor, Ihren Aufenthalt zu bearbeiten, kommen Sie am Flughafen mehr als 50 Macau zu mieten und gehen Sie in einen kleinen Korridor, Es gibt einen kleinen Eisenkasten auf der Mauer am Tor, ein Passwort angeben, kann man den Bus 🔑 an der Tür nehmen, aber es ist völlig unnötig, es gibt keine Attraktionen weit entfernt, in dieser Stadt gibt es auch ein kostenloses Schiff, man kann nachts die Nachtszene sehen, im Fluss zerkleinern, auf beiden Seiten stehen verschiedene Parks, Am Montagmorgen sah man auch die Nahrung, Waschbecken und Wagen für die Wanderer. Am Donnerstag sah man diese öffentliche Aktivität auch am Abend im Park unter der Hütte, eine andere Organisation!

Waren 4 N in diesen Grandhotel mit Charme der vergangenen Zeit. Sehr sehr freundliches Personal und mit grandioser Lage am Park von Brisbane. Das war riesig mit 2! großen Betten , Schreibtisch und großer Ablagefläche, Teppichboden und etwas plüschig. Eindeutig größter Platz auf unserer Reise. Das Bad schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber top sauber ! Einmal im Hotel gefrühstückt , was auch sehr lecker war. Dankeschön an das Team . Haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Etwas schwer zu finden, kann es zu Problemen mit der Navigation kommen. Sie können kostenlos parken, zum Einkaufszentrum fahren und weit laufen. Einrichtungen können sein, Sie können Ihre eigenen Mahlzeiten zubereiten, komplettes Geschirr.

We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise that was leaving from the International Cruise Terminal. The main reason we chose this hotel was its close proximity to Roma Street Station as we caught the train from the airport. While it is close to the train station it is located at the top of a reasonable hill and it took a bit of effort to navigate the way to the top, apart from the effort. Several escalators/lifts and then a steep path with no real directions on which way to go. I thought I would be able to see the hotel to give me an idea which way but had to resort to Google Maps to find the way. Unfortunately we were on an early flight into Brisbane so as it was 09:30AM I was not expecting our room to be ready but just needed to store our bags so we good do some exploring. As expected, our room was not ready but the guy behind the counter checked me in, stored our bags and advised that the hotel was busy and our room would not be ready until about 02:00PM. No worries we will be back. We arrived back at 01:00PM and our room was still not ready and waited in the foyer till 02:00PM as previously discussed. Reception gave me our keys and we proceeded to our room on Level 1, or so I thought……..room card would not let me use the lift. Back to reception to have the card re-coded. On entry to our room, it was reasonably spacious and looked clean and reasonably comfortable. Décor a bit dated, but functional. We had a rather large balcony but we could not use it as there was no furniture so the balcony was wasted. Bathroom was small but functional, bit dated but appeared clean. It was only after we used the toilet several times that we noticed water on the floor. We ignored it for quite a while as we thought we had spilt water on the floor but it was not till the next morning that I realised it was coming from under the toilet. I reported it to reception on checkout. As we were tired from our early start we chose to order room service. While we knew how much it was going to cost it was very expensive. Two hamburgers and chips over $70. A bit steep, but as we were so tired we paid so we did not have to go out. The hamburgers were good by the way, but still way too expensive. Overall, this hotel was OK, but the room was supposed to be a superior room. OK. I would hate to be in a Standard Room………..as the room was pretty average for a Superior. After reading some of the other reviews the price we paid was fair and the location is good, just not when you have to push two big suitcases that we were taking on a cruise up the hill from the station. PS. It cost us $73 in the taxi to get to the Cruise Terminal.

Stayed here for 7 nights at the beginning of April. Check in was quick and although we requested a quiet room, we were sadly given a room that faced onto a road and the helipad of the children’s hospital. So, the room was rather noisy from the traffic and from helicopter landing and taking off at night. Even with ear plugs on I could still hear the traffic. Room: Room 714 was very clean, it seems the Australian standards of cleanliness is much higher and better than at our previous Marriott stays in Cardiff, Wales and in Edinburgh, Scotland. Housekeeping at this hotel is very thorough at cleaning, as we didn’t feel any dust on the surfaces. My partner is blind and the first thing he does is touch the surfaces to get to know the layout of the room and he was impressed that tables, chairs & walls didn’t feel dusty. The housekeeping ladies always provided us with fresh towels and 2 bottles of water daily, as well as change the bed linen when requested. These ladies (day as well as evening housekeeping) are all lovely and friendly, requests for extra toilet paper, tissues, even slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste were promptly supplied with a smile. The housekeeping team at this hotel should be commended for keeping rooms/bathroom clean to a high standard. Reception: The ladies at reception Jess and other lady (who doesn’t wear a name badge) are efficient when checking people in however, they were not so friendly once you’ve checked in, they both came across as cold, sourpusses. Every day we went past reception and these 2 ladies never smiled or said hello. Once we initiated a hello and got a forced response. The male reception staff at night and on the days when the ladies were off are much better as they always greeted people as they walked past reception. Location: This hotel is perfectly located as it is close to all the restaurants in the Southbank and there’s lots to choose from. It is also about 2 mins walk to Goodwill bridge which connects to the Botanical Gardens. From this hotel everything is within walking distance, we walked to Queen Street shopping mall daily and it took us about 10 mins via Southbank parklands and crossing the bridge. We are not super fast walkers but we found everything in close proximity to this hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to Australia next year.

Hassle fee service and very good quality

An older Sofitel compared to some others I stay at as a an Accor Platinum member but my experiences have all been quite postive when I stay here. Staff as usual were very friendly and helpful which is what brings me back to Accot hotels, and the fact my room is almost always ready early. Quite a large hotel with a few different options for food and drinks. The breakfast is quite good, alot of options and plenty of room to sit and relax. The gym is on the smallish side but nice pool and amenities. My King room was quite dated badly in need of a renovation but its quite big and the bed was comfortable. Parking can be a bit difficult at times. The location is very convenient if you are coming by train and its only 5 minutes walk into the CBD. Overall a good hotel and experience.

Es ist erstaunlich, wie eine ganze Reise durch eine dumme inkompetente Antwort auf eine sehr einfache Frage ”wie ich frühzeitig checkout” zerstört werden kann. Wenn das Personal nicht verstehen, wie das Gebäude betrieben und die Verwaltung wollen Geld sparen, indem es keine 24-Stunden-Rezeption für Die Liebe Gottes KOMMUNIKATE. Das Warnschreiben (nicht ein willkommenes Schreiben) beschreibt alle Regeln, die ein Kunde mit Atrio sein, obwohl Sie mehr Zeit mit Miro neben der Tür verbringen. Sie brauchen einen Schlüssel und Fob, um Lifts zu benutzen und den Park zu bekommen, und wenn Ihr Abflug vor der Rezeption nicht Ihren Schlüssel in den Zimmern wie angewiesen verlassen, stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie Ihr Auto raus und parken und blockieren Sie die Fahrbahn oder Park illegal auf der Straße und Danach können Sie Ihren Schlüssel im Zimmer verlassen und einen Aufzug zum Boden verwenden, um das Gebäude zu verlassen, oder in den Manager-Schriftbox setzen, wie ich später herausgefunden habe. Wenn Sie diese Empfehlung folgen, werden Sie nicht durch Ihren Schrauben um 6 Uhr (verpflichtend aus dem Zimmer als Bedrohung aus dem Warnschreiben entfernt) sortieren, um die nach Hausnummer zu finden, wo Ihre Schlüssel zu verlassen. Das willkommene Brief MUSS das nicht erklären, das Empfangspersonal MUSS das nicht wissen und der Manager am Telefon später sagen, es war ein Kommunikationsfehler und ich hätte wissen müssen, was zu tun ist, um neue Empoyment zu finden. Zimmer waren gut Qualität und Lage ist gut, wenn nicht laut. Wenn ich nie wieder bleiben, obwohl ich alles in Ordnung. Ich reise auch mehrere Nächte pro Woche und das wäre eine Chance gewesen, viel Geschäft für das Immobilien zu gewinnen, leider werde ich weiterhin neue Orte versuchen.

Wir liebten unseren Aufenthalt im Stamford Plaza und wir waren dort für etwa 2 Wochen in einer Suite. riesige Zimmer separate Lounge, riesige Kleidung und Badezimmer und die Aussicht war spektakulär. Die Lage ist fabulös und Sie gehen einfach zum Flussfront und alle großen Restaurants sind da. Wir bleiben wieder, wenn wir nach Brisbane reisen.
