It offers insane value for money and is the ultimate choice if you want to escape overcrowded commercial traps and experience the true harmony of Mongolian nature and genuine human connection. The hosts give you complete peace and space—there is absolutely none of the aggressive upselling or tourist hassle you often find elsewhere. They might seem quiet, but they are deeply attentive, showing their warmth through thoughtful actions rather than loud words. July Summer Comfort & Cozy Bedding: We visited in early July. Even though the daytime temperature reached 30°C outside, the inside of the ger remained surprisingly cool, airy, and refreshed without any air conditioning. However, summer nights on the steppe can plunge to single digits. To our delight, the beds were equipped with electric blankets, and the hosts even proactively brought us an electric heater because they were worried we might get cold. We slept incredibly warm and soundly! Wonderful Included Breakfast & Great Dining Options: Complimentary Breakfast: A delicious buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. It was a wonderful surprise to have a varied spread of fresh vegetables, meat, fruits, and boiled eggs on the steppe, along with comforting Korean seaweed soup and traditional Mongolian hot broth. Dinner Recommendation (Khorkhog): We highly recommend pre-ordering the traditional Mongolian stone-roasted meat (Khorkhog). It takes about 2 hours to prepare, so we usually ordered it during breakfast for our dinner. The portions are huge and come with a great variety of side dishes. Paid À La Carte Options: For other meals, the restaurant offers an excellent and affordable daily menu of Mongolian and Korean dishes that are freshly made to order. We loved the Kimchi tofu soup with rice, stir-fried spicy pork belly, handmade mutton fried noodles (Tsuivan), and crispy Khuushuur. Everything was satisfying and very well-priced! The Sweetest Check-out Gesture: On our final day, we had to catch a chartered car back to Ulaanbaatar Airport (UBN) at 7:00 AM, long before breakfast hours. We went to say goodbye to the host the night before and mentioned we would leave our ger door open upon departure. Hearing this, the host immediately went to pack a breakfast box for us for the next morning, filled with boiled eggs, fresh cucumbers, and mandarins. Receiving this thoughtful, handmade meal in the chilling steppe air deeply moved and healed us. Facilities & Activities: Shared bathrooms were kept spotless with abundant hot water. The surrounding nature is stunning for hiking, featuring lush meadow wetlands, unique gully erosion, and roaming livestock. You can even spot the Genghis Khan Statue Complex in the distance. The camp has its own stables where you can pay to ride horses directly to the Tuul River. They even provide traditional Mongolian costumes (Deel) in the lobby for guests to try on for free. Final Thoughts on Mongolian Culture: Throughout this journey, I deeply felt the spirit of the Mongolian nomads, who have coexisted alongside horses, sheep, wolves, and harsh blizzards for thousands of years. They hold a profound reverence for nature, viewing humans and animals not in a hierarchy, but as equal living beings nurtured by the same earth. This dignified, grounded, and unpretentious attitude is worlds apart from modern commercial societies, and it is precisely what made this journey so rare and precious to us. A perfect 10/10!

Ich habe hier fünf Nächte verbracht und für ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet. Das Zimmer war schön und geräumig. Es war kalt, und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht richtig. Der Zimmerservice ist verbesserungsbedürftig. Das Essen in den Restaurants war gut. Das Frühstück war nicht besonders gut. Die Teppiche waren etwas schmutzig. Insgesamt gebe ich dem Hotel 6 von 10 Punkten.

Modern Comfort Meets Breathtaking Wilderness 🏔️✨ If you are looking for a place in Gorkhi Terelj National Park that perfectly balances modern luxury, endless entertainment, and untouched natural beauty, Imperial Mount Resort is the ultimate choice. The Ultimate Host: The biggest highlight of our stay was the resort owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and speaks fluent English. Having a host you can communicate with easily in the wilderness is a game-changer. There is absolutely no need to join a rigid group tour; the owner quickly arranged a private driver for us (at our own expense) to visit nearby attractions like Turtle Rock and the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. It allowed us to customize our own itinerary and enjoy total freedom. The Vibe & Accommodation: The resort is beautifully designed with a sleek, modern wooden main building. We stayed in a Duplex Dome, which offered incredible space and a skylight for stargazing. The biggest luxury was the private, clean bathroom with excellent hot water and separate wet/dry areas—a rare find that completely redefines the typical Mongolian camping experience! The resort sits in a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic rock formations and roaming horses, giving it a dreamy, ”Little Switzerland” feel. Top-Notch Amenities (All Free!): Unlike other remote camps, this place keeps you entertained. Inside the main building, there is a designated Ping Pong room, a billiards table, and Karaoke rooms—all completely free to use! Outside, they have basketball court, volleyball court, a colorful children's playground, and BBQ pits. Incredible Food: The dining here blew us away. The included breakfast was fresh and relaxing. However, I highly recommend ordering their ala carte dinner. They serve a fantastic mix of Western and traditional Mongolian dishes. We ordered the grilled meat skewers with fries, a massive chicken Caesar salad, a comforting hot vegetable and meat stew, and traditional Mongolian Huushuur (deep-fried meat pastries) and Buuz (steamed dumplings). Everything was incredibly flavorful and hearty! Horseback Riding Nearby: There is a professional horse ranch run by a neighbor just 100 meters away. It costs 30,000 MNT per hour, which is very reasonable. Tip: If it's your first time riding, I highly recommend hiring a coach to guide you for safety. Verdict: 10/10. An unforgettable stay with amazing hospitality. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Die Lage des Hotels war gut erreichbar und die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Allerdings ließ das Essen etwas zu wünschen übrig, und es war enttäuschend, dass ich die Sauna wegen Renovierungsarbeiten nicht nutzen konnte. Außerdem verläuft hinter dem Hotel eine unbefestigte Straße.

Hotel mit guter Lage und schöner Aussicht auf die Stadt. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sehr sauber. Leider funktionierte das WLAN kaum überall in unserem Zimmer, nur sporadisch und mit schlechter Geschwindigkeit. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und das Englische war gut. Meine Vorausposten, die den Flughafen Pickup beantragten, wurden nicht beantwortet. Das Frühstück war einfach und etwas unausgewogen. Kaffee wurde von einem Kupfer serviert, aber leider gab es keinen Service von der Kaffeemaschine. Es befindet sich in einem Innenraum, wodurch es sehr bequem ist.

Große Aussichten und ein sauberes Hotel ein wenig von dem zentralen Platz entfernt, aber empfohlen für Frühstück und ein koreanisches Essen im Einkaufszentrum im gleichen Gebäude. Auch Modern Nomads ist ein großer lokaler mongolischer bbq Platz

Das Zimmer war insgesamt komfortabel, ließ aber etwas an Sauberkeit mangeln. Der Tisch war etwas kaputt, und es war unklar, wann die Duschgels verfügbar waren. Im Badezimmer gab es gelegentlich Ungeziefer, aber das war in Ordnung. Ich wünschte, die Handtücher wären auch gewechselt worden, als das Reinigungspersonal kam. Der Fernseher ließ sich über das Wandbedienfeld einschalten, dann drückte ich direkt den Hauptschalter. Die Fernbedienung funktionierte nur, wenn sie sich in unmittelbarer Nähe des Kabelfernsehers befand. Außerdem war das Zimmer recht trocken, daher wäre ein Luftbefeuchter sinnvoll. Da es weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt liegt, benötigt man für die Anreise ein Taxi oder den Bus (ca. 4 km, und im Winter war es zu Fuß recht beschwerlich). Es gibt jedoch mehrere Bushaltestellen in der Nähe, zwei große Nomin- und E-Mart-Läden sowie zahlreiche Convenience-Stores und Restaurants, was es überraschend praktisch macht. Das Personal spricht Englisch, benötigt aber manchmal einen Übersetzer. Im Allgemeinen hat man sich bemüht, meinen Wünschen nachzukommen, daher finde ich den Service nicht schlecht. Da es ein Last-Minute-Check-in war, war es teilweise meine Schuld, aber ich war enttäuscht, dass sie meinem Wunsch nach einem früheren Check-out nicht nachkommen konnten.

Aber ich bin froh, dass dies die Reise ist, weil ich innerhalb von 30 Minuten vom neuen Flughafen angekommen bin. Wenn Sie vom Flughafen ankommen, nehmen Sie bitte eine Vorausbuchung, die Sie kostenlos empfangen wird. Wenn Sie vergessen haben, nehmen Sie bitte den Bus 30000T. Von Hotel zum Stadtzentrum, nehmen Sie den öffentlichen Bus 1 〜1.5 Stunden, einzelne Reise 500T. Entsprechend der Suchstelle wird der Flughafen neben dem Hotel angezeigt, aber beachten Sie, dass es sich um einen derzeit nicht genutzten Flughafen handelt.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage, dass es auf einigen der Standorte in UB zu Fuß gelangen ist. Das Hotel ist zwar sauber, ist aber schon sehr alt. Kein Klimaanlage oder Aufzug. Das Gebiet ist auch für das Nachtleben, so dass es manchmal laut sein könnte. Frühstück ist enthalten, aber nicht wert. Zwei Stücke Brot plus ein Teebeutel und ein Kelch warmes Wasser.
