GGastnutzerSehr wertvolles Hotel, kann als ein heißer Moment der gesamten Reise nach Marokko gesagt werden. Jedes Zimmer ist ein unabhängiges Riad-Zimmer. Der Service ist freundlich, aber leidenschaftlich. Neben der allgemeinen Mahlzeit kann die Umgebung nicht provokierend sein. Maraguash ist im Allgemeinen ziemlich schmutzig. Es gibt zwei Welten im Hotel und außerhalb des Hotels. Wenn Sie das nächste Mal wieder in Maraguash kommen, dann bedenken Sie immer noch, hier zu leben!

KK DesaiThis is an absolutely stunning Riad. I cannot praise it enough. The courtyard is beautiful and full of trees and plants. The restaurant shares this space and is a wonderful experience to have breakfast, lunch or dinner among the trees and plants.
We stayed in room Orientalle and it is just incredible. There is a balcony over the pool and plenty of room to relax. The artwork is also stunning, not just in the room but all over the riad. It is like staying in a museum.
There are also many patios to relax in although we could not make full use of them as the weather wasn't great.
The real stars of the Riad are the staff. They are simply amazing. Ahmed looked after us so well. Sorted out our transfers and organised a tour of Marrakech, booked a restaurant for is. Would always ask if we were okay was always ready with a tip or helping on what to do or where to go. When he wasn't there Khalid did the same. Khalid is also very friendly and helpful. It was great having them in reception just before you went out. As we had come to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary Ahmed had decorated the room with petals and had also arranged a bunch of roses for my wife. He also organised a special vegetarian dinner in the restaurant for us
Housekeeping led by Latifa were great and the room was cleaned very well and repeatedly decorated with rose petals.
Breakfast is a traditional Moroccan one and is very good. The star is however Oussama, our waiter. He looked after us every day and insisted we try everything and made sure we had a good breakfast. He is a very genuine person and truly wants you to have a good time. When we had dinner at the restaurant one evening he made sure we couldn't eat another crumb. A truly kind and sweet person
I cannot praise the Riad and staff enough. It is not the cheapest place but for my wife and I it was worth every penny. The memories we have will last for ever.

AApinkeIch habe jede Sekunde meines Aufenthalts hier genossen. Vom Abholen am Flughafen über den Empfang bis hin zum Frühstück, das mir während des Wartens auf meinen frühen Check-in serviert wurde (mein Flug landete früher).
Es war wie ein zweites Zuhause, und ich kann dieses Riad jedem empfehlen, der Marrakesch zum ersten Mal besucht.
Ein besonderes Dankeschön an den Besitzer (auf seinem E-Bike … Er hatte ausdrücklich gesagt, ich solle NUR Taxis benutzen), Abdou, Ismail (ich hoffe, ich habe den Namen richtig in Erinnerung), den Mann mit der Brille (ich habe ihn leider nicht nach seinem Namen gefragt), meine Hamam-Dame, die Reinigungskräfte, die Köche – einfach alle. Ich würde sagen, sie haben sich alle rührend um mich gekümmert und meinen Aufenthalt so angenehm gemacht.
Ich komme ganz bestimmt wieder.

GGastnutzerSorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking.
This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience.
From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy.
The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout.
The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour.
There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm.
Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels.
We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display.
The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family

GGastnutzerInsgesamt war das Hotel sehr schön. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, und das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und mit einer schönen Deckengestaltung versehen. Einziger Nachteil: Das Zimmer hatte keine Fenster.
Leider wurde unser Aufenthalt durch einen Vorfall im Hotelrestaurant getrübt. Nach dem Abendessen erkrankten alle Familienmitglieder in der Nacht an einer Lebensmittelvergiftung. Daher mussten wir das Hotel am nächsten Morgen ohne Frühstück verlassen.
Wir verstehen zwar, dass solche Situationen vorkommen können, waren aber enttäuscht, dass das Rezeptionspersonal beim Auschecken keinerlei Interesse an unserem Wohlbefinden zeigte. Diese fehlende Reaktion, zusammen mit dem Vorfall selbst, hinterließ einen negativen Gesamteindruck.

Groß für Familien und Paare. 30 Minuten von der Stadt entfernt aber kostenfreie Shuttlebus jede Stunde und eine halbe.

YYIJIAAm Tag des Eincheckens kam ich sehr spät an und sagte, ich wolle ein ruhiges Zimmer, also wurde ich in die innerste Ecke geschickt. Als ich die Tür sah, waren die Vorhänge nicht fest genug und ich fühlte, dass es noch schlimmer war. Ich bat darum, das Zimmer zu wechseln. Glücklicherweise war das Wechseln des Zimmers ziemlich schnell, aber das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss wurde geändert, da sich auf dem Balkon im zweiten Stock ein Block befand, sodass die Beleuchtung überhaupt nicht gut war. Die drei Mahlzeiten, die ich aß, hatten keinen Tag, da das Frühstück um 10 Uhr endete. Das Mittag- und Abendessen war ähnlich und es gab nichts zu essen außer dem gegrillten Fisch und keinen Meeresfrüchten. Die Bilder täuschten. Es gibt einige Orte zum Spielen, aber das Wasser in einem anderen Pool mit Rutsche ist kalt, sodass es nur angezeigt werden kann.
