Ausgezeichnetes Resort, Lage, Lebensmittel und sehr kompetentes Personal.Ich bin hier aus Marrakesch Krankenhaus, das sich von einem gebrochenen Hüft mit meiner Frau wiederholt.Jeder hat besonders die Dame, die das Resort Wafa verwaltet hat, hilfreich gemacht.Kann die Einrichtungen nicht verwenden, sondern der Pool ist erstaunlich 👍

sagt ein altes Sprichwort. Leider trifft das auch auf das Movenpick in Marrakech zu. POSITIV: +Personal ist immer hilfsbereit und freundlich +Architektur des Hoteleingangs ist toll gemacht -＞ ”Sesam öffne Dich” +Große Anlage mit 3 Pools, immer sauber und gepflegt +Room Service gut und schnell NEGATIV: -Zimmer bei Ankunft nicht sauber (nicht gesaugt, Spiegel mit Spuren ...) -Ausstattung des Zimmers: es fehlte eine Leselampe -Wassertoillette leider ausser Betrieb -Airportabholung ist mit €36 TOTAL überteuert -＞ habe einen Transfer mit schwarzem Bus über GetYourGuide um €18 gebucht. Normalpreis im kleinen gelben Taxi: €10 -KEINE Privatsphäre auf meinem Balkon, da mein Zimmer ein ”Adjunct-Room” mit Verbindungstür war (Tür war zwar geschlossen und kein Problem. Aber ich habe meinen Balkon mit Fremden teilen müssen, die auch Sicht auf mein Bett hatten.) -＞ €300 pro Nacht pro Zimmer -＞ da darf sowas nicht sein -Außer dem WelcomeDrink-Gutschien keine besondere Aufmerksamkeit. Ich bin DIAMOND-Mitglied von Accor und sogar im IBIS liegt eine handgeschriebene Karte zur Begrüßung und dann gibt's Schokolade/Sekt ... immer eine Kleinigkeit. Das Movenpick kostet zwar 3x so viel aber diese Kleinigkeiten spart man sich komplett. Dabei machen es doch die Kleinigkeiten aus ... Hinweis: das Movenpick ist in Marrakech ein Kongresshotel - 500 Zimmer. Erwarten Sie keine individuelle/persönliche Betreuung ... Das professionelle Personal hat sich 5-Sterne verdient ... aber die negativen Erlebnisse machen es mir unmöglich eine höhere Bewertung zu geben.

It’s my second time in Marrakech and I hope it won’t be my last. My partner and I stayed here at the start of September and we were having such a great time in Morocco until the earthquake hit, it was a pretty scary experience but thankfully the hotels in the area weren’t too badly damaged. The staff in this hotel made the experience so much better, everyone here is so kind, attentive and always happy to help. I highly recommend this place due to the kindness of the staff and extra mile that they all go to make the guests stay a memorable one. I hope to visit again in the future. Thank you to the team on the desk and especially those working in the bar and restaurant.

What a gem of a property in the Accor catalog of accommodation and hospitality! I am a senior, solo, single traveler, and Ibis rooms are just fine with me! The Wi-Fi could be a little bit better, but that's the problem with the vendor and the Internet service Provider, not the Ibis. Although this Ibis would be within their rights to demand better service- in 2023, with 100+ rooms. I came directly from an Ibis in Lisbon, which had fewer items for breakfast, and no Chef for evening dinner! The breakfast is a wonderful mix of Moroccan, Arabic, French foods, but also American/English. Scrambled eggs are made without dairy, and I brought my own gluten-free bread from Carrefour to be sure. While they do have a container of Honey, I bring my own, as I don't like touching containers and spoons touched by other customers... another customer absconded with my honey yesterday, and one of the wait staff had to retrieve it! Three languages are spoken here: Moroccan, Arabic, French, and plenty of English. Any word that is too specific can be translated on any of the web translation sources. Like when I needed to explain that DHL was bringing a package with my gluten-free chocolate chip cookies that Carrefour does not stock! There's been some shuffling of the wait staff in the last few days, but besides being new, quiet, and shy, they are all talented and all understand hospitality. The evening dinner is attended to by the top echelon of the hotel staff and everything is more than fine – which in my case means a very plain and simple American taste. Since I don't carry currency, the evening food bill goes on my room tab. Breakfast was part of the booking in the first place, but I don't fully understand what ”half-board” means, if that means evening dinner, so I will be inquiring about that. Being next-door to the train station means it's a three minute walk to excellent sight seeing and people watching. And McDonald's of you so care, and at least two mobile phone SIM shops. Carrefour is a 10 minute walk, and there is a shopping mall which is about a 20 minute walk which I will be visiting for recreation purposes and window shopping, to get a feel for the retail culture of this city. And people watching! I did read about the potable water situation on a Moroccan tourism page. This Ibis has plenty of bottled water, so just ask- at Reception and of course in the Restaurant.  I also read about cash versus credit card. The three places that I have spent money at have all accepted cards. It is currently Ramadan, but this Ibis respects International tourists' needs and wants. No disruption of service- and the staff seem to be very happy to be celebrating the holiday. My room had two minor maintenance issues, which were resolved quickly. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, and well manicured. I have stayed with other brand name chain hotels in the US and Europe. There is nothing in this historic building that is outdated, or in need of renovation. The most important

Großes Hotel fußläufig zur Medina 1,5 KM und Neustadt 1,8 KM. Große Zimmer und schönes Bad mit großem Duschbereich. Betten bequem. Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Continental und marrokanisch. Personal freundlich aber manchmal etwas überfordert. Hotel können wir empfehlen, jedoch nach unserem Standard eher 4 Sterne.

Das Hotel befindet sich in der städtischen Mitte und die Einrichtungen umgeben von bequemen Reisen sind auch komplett. Aber als ich auftrat, passierte etwas sehr seltsames. Das Hotel gab mir das Zimmer im dritten Stock. Wenn ich den Elefanten ankam, fand ich viele Zimmer im dritten Stock in Dekoration, Ich dachte, es wäre mir egal, ob ein paar Zimmer sich verändern würden. Ich ging weiter in mein eigenes Zimmer, und ich fand einen Teil, der mit einem Schockschock auf den Boden schlug, der große Kälte zerstört, Ich bin sofort zurück in die Rezeption und fordere eine Ruhe und Ruhe. Das Hotel zögerte mir ein Zimmer im vierten Stock zu geben, aber als ich im vierten Stock kam, ging der Schock-Schlag noch groß und es gibt keine Möglichkeit, sich bequem zu entspannen, Der Allgemein unverschämte Klientenservice kann Trip.com kontaktieren. Dieser Kommentar schreiben möchte ich vor allem in der Form, dass das Hotel als ein fünf-Sterne-International-Kette-Hotel, während es Gäste empfängt, in der Dekoration des Hotels und in einem Zimmer im Dekorationsschicht geordnet wird, ist einfach so, wie es gedacht ist!

Unfortunately our reception to the hotel was very poor and we had an exceptionally long delay being allocated an acceptable room. To be fair our situation was rectified by the duty manager and we would like to thank him for his help. The following morning at 7am, we had simply put our luggage in the car and were heading to breakfast when the man at reception without any greeting yelled to us to give him our room key. It felt like there was mistrust. Check out isn't until 12 am, and we hadn't had breakfast so we are confused as to why he did this. Reception staff are friendly but could really benefit from some training to enhance the guest experience. Breakfast is incredible but the lady boss was very busy using the big mirror visible to guests to fix her hair and make up and clean her face. We have noted this because her manager needs to advise her that breakfast service is not the place to check her make up. Waiters eat during service and when clearing a table wipe the crumbs from the table directly in the floor as ”they have made an agreement with the cleaners that this is ok!” The hotel is stylish but really needs some maintenance. It appears they are happy to take money, but not spend as the big bus groups that come through will keep the hotel afloat- Leaking shower, running toilet, out dated tv, mini bar fridge not working, single bed sheets used across the bed instead of 1 large sheet, ripped sheets, dirty shower floor with mould, room service not attending to left over trays in common areas. We don't like to leave negative reviews, but as a couple who work in guest service we know that if our establishment received a review like this we would take the comments very seriously and look at what we can do to make change. Sehr schönes und geschmackvolles Riad. Zentral gelegen und trotzdem sehr ruhig, alles zu Fuß erreichbar und Taxen gleich um die Ecke. Das Personal ist sehr professionell, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Externes wie Stadtführer, Restaurants, etc. lässt sich alles über die Rezeption buchen. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut und die Atmosphäre wunderbar. Schöne Dachterrasse. Hammam und Spa sehr schön.
