Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Hotel ist außergewöhnlich sauber, mit allen Details sorgfältig gepflegt. Sein elegantes und stilvolles Design vermischt sich schön mit einem charmanten vintage Charakter, der seine historische, gut ‑bewahrte Architektur widerspiegelt. Die Atmosphäre fühlt sich warm und willkommen von dem Moment, in dem Sie ins Haus gehen. Jeder Raum erzählt eine Geschichte, bietet aber moderne Komfort und wunderschöne Touchs. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, so dass es einfach zu erkunden nahegelegene Attraktionen, Restaurants und kulturellen Orten. Insgesamt bietet dieses Hotel eine einzigartige Kombination von Geschichte, Komfort und Komfort, die eine erinnere und wirklich angenehme Erfahrung für jeden Reisenden, der Charme und Qualität sucht.

Anfang Februar hatten wir in der Altstadt großes Glück, dass es keine Minustemperaturen gab. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der Altstadt, in fußläufiger Entfernung zu verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten und der längste Fußweg zum Zentralmarkt beträgt nur 10 Minuten. Die Zimmerausstattung ist sehr gut und das Frühstück ist köstlich. Habe am letzten Tag das Abendessen probiert und es war auch ausgezeichnet🥰🥰

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, im Metropole Hotel zu übernachten, und es war eine außergewöhnliche Erfahrung. Das Highlight meines Aufenthalts war das unglaublich bequeme Bett. Ich wachte erfrischt auf und war bereit, die Stadt zu erkunden. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, mit einfachem Zugang zu beliebten Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Egal, ob Sie geschäftlich oder privat dort sind, die Bequemlichkeit einer so zentralen Lage ist unschlagbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet war auch großartig. Das Personal war auch aufmerksam und hilfsbereit und sorgte dafür, dass alle meine Bedürfnisse erfüllt wurden. Insgesamt kann ich das Metropole jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der eine Mischung aus Komfort und erstklassiger Lage sucht.

Ein außergewöhnliches Gebäude ; eines der architektonisch beeindruckendsten Hotels, in denen ich mich erinnern kann, wo ich wohnen, mit wunderbar hilfsbereitem Personal und einer Lage, die nicht besser werden kann -- mit einem lobenswerten Frühstück. Fünf Sterne ! Aber dann . . . Schön konfigurierte und ausgestattete Zimmer, aber, die Einschränkungen auf städtische Gebäude, was sie sind, und die Architekten, die einen erstaunlichen zentralen Skylit Luft- und Licht-well gewählt haben, unser Zimmer zumindest hatte kein Fenster. Wo war man schließlich zu platzieren ? Die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut, aber wirklich frische Luft war nicht verfügbar. Das Hausbetreiber hatte das Badezimmer, das dem Zimmer beigefügt war, vernachlässigt. Haare, ein Baumwoll-geprägter Applikatorstick und -- einfach -- Schmutz waren auf den Fliesen. Dies kann passieren. Es war sehr anders als der Rest der Erfahrung des Aufenthalts. Aber da war es. Schauen Sie sich um, wenn Sie sich anmelden. Werden Sie sich für eine Wiederholung der Reinigung Ihres Zimmers, wenn Sie denken, dass eine notwendig ist. Genießen Sie Ihren Aufenthalt.

Wellnessbreich gleicht eher einem Rummel, was aber eher interessant ist, anstatt nervig. Kaum Liegemöglichkeiten im spa und nur 90 min frei je tag. Recht wenig. Zimmer schön, vor allem mit Flussblick. Essen gleicht einer Militärischen Mensa, gefühlt Millionen Menschen drin

Superb location next to Old Town Riga.. comfortable rooms,  excellent breakfast and moreover - very child friendly. Our two grandchildren 5 and 2  loved the playroom. Reception staff so helpful and obliging - special mention to Inga.  Would love to return - hopefully soon. Will recommend.

Paid extra, service very poor. Arrived to check-in, nobody to serve, no receptionist at the desk. Did wait around 10 minutes, gave a call, no answer, but the receptionist arrived. Then went to their restaurant, very vague service. No cocktails on the meniu (that's what we came for), asked and then the waiter gave separate cocktails menu. Finally came back to room and realised my bed sheet is dirty! Went to reception and asked to change it since we just arrived. Same person from reception came with new duvet and linen, had replace myself, meaning lack of staff if the same person does everything within entire hotel. Breakfast decent, saw people drinking wine, but it wasn't marked as it's included in the breakfast or not and bottle sits aside from all the breakfast on the bar table.

The property is under renovation, the whole floor and my room is with all the furnitures or renovation smell. It’s not a pleasant feel when you walking on the corridor to the room as some areas are renovating and some room doors are open and the furnitures all putting outside the corridor. Other than the location is good I really have bad experience with the smell especially while sleeping I got sinus with all these bad smell. I request to change room and they said is full. I request to fix the safebox battery and end up they didnt do it, I was on business trips and stay for 2 nights it’s a very bad experience for me. If you are renovating the floor pls do not rent iit our or at least clear the smell before renting to others.

Tolle Lage für mich, da ich gerne lokale Märkte besuche und der zentrale Markt nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt war. Die Altstadt ist jedoch viel weiter entfernt, ebenso wie die Jugendstilstraßen. Es gab ein paar Staubflocken hinter der Tür, aber insgesamt war es sehr sauber. Leider roch die Toilette nach Abwasser und der Geruch durchdrang das Zimmer. Trotzdem lief die Heizung warm und es gab keine Probleme mit der Wassertemperatur. Das Bett war ein wenig zu weich, also nichts für Leute mit Rückenschmerzen. Ordentliches Frühstück mit guten Croissants und Wurstauswahl. Die Rezeption war hilfsbereit und lieh mir einen Adapter, um zu prüfen, ob mein Ladegerät noch funktionierte oder ob es ein Kabelproblem war. Insgesamt reibungsloses Ein- und Auschecken.

The hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby but they close fairly early. The hotel has a very interesting feeling to it with exposed brick walls and original/restored wood beams and stairs. We appreciated that it also had an elevator to get to the top floor we stayed on. We booked the twin room and had a pleasant stay and the room was quiet enough to get a good night's rest despite the bars nearby. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little thin. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with decent prices which would help if we got desperate for drinks. There was a large wardrobe and a small work desk in the room too. There were also plugs conveniently placed around the room so we could get all our devices charged. The bathroom was quite large and we appreciated the hot shower and towel warmer. They provide handsoap and a body/hair gel for the shower. The rooms have air conditioning and the windows open to help with the stuffiness. The twin rooms have a slanted ceiling so my short wife had the bed on the slanted side and had no issues. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the variety of food brought out both mornings. They had hot items which changed a bit each day and included an egg omelette, bacon, potatoes, a Latvian pancake and sausages. There was a good spread of cold items too and we are sure a vegetarian would be satisfied with the offerings of vegetables, cheeses, devilled eggs and fruit. The coffee machine made a very good hot chocolate and they also provided juice and water with breakfast. There is a bar behind the check in counter that is open to hotel guests and a nice seating area in the lobby too if you're looking for something more later. There is a sauna at the hotel but we weren't sure if it was open during our stay or what time it did open because there were no hours posted and we didn't get a chance to ask the staff. There is very limited free parking near the hotel and it seemed like the same local parked in front of the hotel each day. We would recommend taking the bus from the airport if you have the time but if you're in a hurry Bolt is pretty affordable in Riga to get around. There are car rentals north of the hotel and Bolt works in old town to book electric scooters and cars which was pretty convenient during our visit in Riga.
