"Ein tolles Ausflugsziel in Nagoya. Wir buchten dieses Hotel, um das Kiso-Tal näher zu erkunden und die Nakasendo-Route von Tsumago nach Magome zu befahren. Es war eine tolle Option, komfortabel und das Zimmer war gut, wenn auch klein. Wir hatten Bedenken, nicht einchecken zu können, da wir deutlich später als die Check-in-Zeit ankamen, wurden aber problemlos vom Rezeptionspersonal begrüßt. In einer vorherigen E-Mail wurde uns versichert, dass alles in Ordnung sei und dass man bei Bedarf selbst einchecken könne, da es Check-in-Schalter gebe. Dieses Hotel serviert außerdem ein wunderbares Frühstück zu einem guten Preis."

GGastnutzerThis hotel has an excellent location — right in front of Hisayaodori Subway Station Exit 4, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven just next door, and right behind the hotel is a lively district filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and malls. It connects directly to Oasis and Sakae, so everything is within easy walking distance. I chose a shower-only room since I rarely use a bathtub. The sink being located outside the bathroom was actually a plus for me, as it provided better lighting for makeup. The room also had a large window, which made the space feel more open and comfortable. One of the main reasons I didn’t use the shower much is because the hotel has a really nice public bath. It’s very comfortable, with both indoor and semi-outdoor areas. I absolutely loved this facility — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The hotel also collaborates with a luggage courier service that can send your suitcase to a building next to Nagoya Station (not directly inside the station), which is very convenient. I booked a room with breakfast, and although the selection was simple, everything tasted really good. There were real, hearty dishes, soup, some Western options, as well as desserts, coffee, and tea — all complete and very comforting. Some of the menu items also changed daily, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the food overall. The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, large windows, and very comfortable sofas. The staff were generally helpful, but I did encounter one issue. Aside from 2 staff members (who I believe may have been of Indian descent), the Japanese staff did not speak English. While I understand this can happen, I think having basic English skills would be very helpful, especially since this hotel accommodates many international guests. When I asked about the luggage courier service, I felt like I was being passed around between staff. Another staff member came out to assist, but unfortunately, they also did not speak English and did not attempt to use a translation app. Instead, they tried to explain using pen and paper, which made the situation quite confusing. I felt there was very little effort to communicate clearly, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has great facilities and an unbeatable location. I hope the communication aspect can be improved, as I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Thank you!

Location - The hotel is perfectly situated right above a shopping mall and close to train stations. You can access everything you need just by taking the elevator down! - It offers easy travel to nearby attractions such as Gero's oden and Shirakawa-go, making it a great base for exploring the countryside. Amenities - The staff is incredibly helpful, especially when it comes to luggage storage before and after your stay. - The views from the hotel are spectacular, particularly from the higher floors. Overall Experience - I loved the convenience of being in the city center and, despite the hustle and bustle below, enjoying a peaceful stay in a beautiful hotel. - I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nagoya! The stunning views, convenient location, and excellent service truly made my stay memorable. Highly recommended!

GGastnutzerI recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya Hotel, and I want to highlight some exceptional service that made our visit memorable. Thoughtful Amenities The welcome ice cream for my sons was a delightful surprise. It was a thoughtful gesture that made them feel special and added to our overall positive experience. Duty Manager Mr. Andei Ho One standout moment of our visit was when Mr. Andei Ho, the Duty Manager, came to assist us during one of our evenings at the hotel. Being a Hongkonger himself, he made us feel right at home. When we returned from a day out and needed to store some belongings at the concierge, Mr. Andei approached us and warmly communicated in Cantonese. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help truly made us feel welcomed. Proactive Assistance After our check-out, Mr. Andei noticed us trying to call an Uber in the lobby and proactively offered to help by calling a taxi instead. Given that we had too much luggage, he went above and beyond by marking the pick-up and drop-off locations for us at the Airport Express Station, ensuring a smooth departure. One day, he saw us waiting outside for a taxi and proactively asked a colleague to come over and see if we needed help calling a taxi. Housekeeping I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for their outstanding work. They kept our room impeccably clean and tidy throughout our stay, greatly contributing to our comfort. Summary In summary, my experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya was fantastic, thanks to the outstanding service from Mr. Andei Ho and the entire staff, including the diligent housekeeping team. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future!

MManman CheungDas Hotel hat ein neuartiges Design, die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich und die Betten und Kissen sind sehr bequem. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es viele Izakayas und Restaurants, darunter gegrillte Meeresfrüchte und Ramen. Es gibt auch viele Lebensmittelgeschäfte wie 7-Eleven Lawson, was sehr praktisch ist. Aber es ist etwas weit vom Bahnhof entfernt und es ist etwas mühsam, mit dem Gepäck vom Bahnhof zum Hotel zu laufen.

Additionally, communication with staff proved to be quite difficult, creating frustration when trying to address concerns or ask for assistance.

Jjhleite2The hotel is located in a really nice place, close to the Nagoya station and bus terminal, and also close to several large shopping malls and areas full of bars and restaurants. Check-in was quite straightforward, with guests being given an access card for their locker and elevator. The hotel's agents have a very decent English for Japanese standards. The two elevators are separated, with one exclusive for male guests to reach their exclusive floors and another one for female guests and their exclusive floors. The access card also locks and unlocks their locker, which is tall but also a bit narrow, but wasn't too much of an issue to store by backpack, bag and shoes. Guests are given sleepwear, slippers and towels, and the shared bathrooms are fully furnished with amenities. Common areas include the lounge in the highest floor and the café in the ground floor, well-decorated and quite coherent with the hotel's famous minimalistic and futuristic design language. The sleeping room has its signature look and offered decent space, even though not the largest capsule of its kind. There is one power outlet, a rotating light switch that allows the user to choose the light intensity, and two small compartments to hold glasses, phones or whatever. The pillow and blanket weren't my favourites but it's up to each person to decide. Like all capsule hotels, ventilation might be a problem so a fan or an AC outlet would be nice to have, but it's not a problem exclusive to 9h. In the end, it wasn't the best bed I've slept but I enjoyed the overall experience. The crew was nice, the hotel was organized and clean, the location was near everything I could need, and the price was also nice. I recommend this location for those who don't want to spend much in lodging and plan to spend most of the day outside and just want a place to rest for the night.

Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day at the breakfast hall until 11pm. You can heat up your food as there is a microwave there. A good hangout place with friends for night snack before hitting the bed.
