GGastnutzerThis hotel has an excellent location — right in front of Hisayaodori Subway Station Exit 4, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven just next door, and right behind the hotel is a lively district filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and malls. It connects directly to Oasis and Sakae, so everything is within easy walking distance.
I chose a shower-only room since I rarely use a bathtub. The sink being located outside the bathroom was actually a plus for me, as it provided better lighting for makeup. The room also had a large window, which made the space feel more open and comfortable.
One of the main reasons I didn’t use the shower much is because the hotel has a really nice public bath. It’s very comfortable, with both indoor and semi-outdoor areas. I absolutely loved this facility — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
The hotel also collaborates with a luggage courier service that can send your suitcase to a building next to Nagoya Station (not directly inside the station), which is very convenient.
I booked a room with breakfast, and although the selection was simple, everything tasted really good. There were real, hearty dishes, soup, some Western options, as well as desserts, coffee, and tea — all complete and very comforting. Some of the menu items also changed daily, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the food overall.
The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, large windows, and very comfortable sofas. The staff were generally helpful, but I did encounter one issue. Aside from 2 staff members (who I believe may have been of Indian descent), the Japanese staff did not speak English. While I understand this can happen, I think having basic English skills would be very helpful, especially since this hotel accommodates many international guests.
When I asked about the luggage courier service, I felt like I was being passed around between staff. Another staff member came out to assist, but unfortunately, they also did not speak English and did not attempt to use a translation app. Instead, they tried to explain using pen and paper, which made the situation quite confusing. I felt there was very little effort to communicate clearly, which was a bit frustrating.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has great facilities and an unbeatable location. I hope the communication aspect can be improved, as I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Thank you!

Our kid loved everything from the room to the food. Personally I'd give 10/10 for the potato salad and caramel pudding in the breakfast buffet.

MMavis Yu Ling ChiuOur family had an absolutely delightful stay at Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. We did encounter a slight hiccup during check-in, as the hotel requested us to email our Trip.com check-in voucher for confirmation/arrangement, which caused a minor delay. However, this was quickly resolved, and it didn't detract from our overall experience.
A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the complimentary nightly ramen, which quickly became a cherished ritual for us. The delicious, comforting bowls were the perfect end to our busy days exploring Nagoya. Even more remarkable was the hotel's fantastic onsen. After long hours of sightseeing and walking, immersing ourselves in the soothing hot springs was pure bliss. It truly melted away all our travel fatigue, leaving us refreshed and rejuvenated for the next day's adventures. The combination of superb amenities and thoughtful touches made our stay incredibly memorable. We highly recommend Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae for families seeking comfort, relaxation, and a taste of authentic Japanese hospitality.

GGastnutzerI had a great stay at Minn Station Ai Nagoya! The rooms were surprisingly spacious — much larger than many city hotels in Nagoya — which made it really comfortable, especially for longer stays or if you’re travelling with luggage.
The hotel has a very modern design and feel, with clean, stylish interiors and up-to-date facilities throughout. The room was equipped with all the amenities I needed — from a comfortable bed and good lighting to convenient storage and a well-appointed bathroom. Everything felt thoughtfully placed and easy to use.
One of the best things about this property is the convenience factor: there’s a Family Mart right on the ground floor, which was super handy for quick snacks, drinks, or late-night essentials without having to walk around after a long day of sightseeing.
Overall, Minn Station Ai Nagoya offers spacious, modern rooms with every amenity you need — plus the bonus of a convenience store right below. Great choice for both short trips and longer stays in Nagoya!

GGastnutzerDie Lage nahe der Innenstadt von Nagoya ist zwar günstig, doch die Gegend um den Ikeda-Park hat eine eher ungemütliche Atmosphäre, vermutlich aufgrund der vielen nahegelegenen Host-Clubs und anderer Ausgehlokale. Es gibt zwar gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze, aber man kann das Parkhaus am Ikeda-Park über die Website von Meitetsu Kyosho reservieren und so unbegrenzt parken. Die Unterkunft selbst ist ein Neubau-Apartment mit Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank, Fernseher und Geschirr und bietet einen komfortableren Aufenthalt als ein typisches Hotel. Leider war der Wäschetrockner im Badezimmer defekt und konnte während meines Aufenthalts nicht repariert werden. Der Balkon ist fast nach Westen ausgerichtet, sodass die Handtücher selbst an sonnigen Wintertagen kaum trockneten. Das Reinigungspersonal war sehr hilfsbereit.
