GGastnutzerDas Hotel bietet ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Zimmer verfügen über zwei Einzelbetten (je 1,2 Meter breit) und ein Etagenbett (ebenfalls 1,2 Meter breit) und sind somit geräumig genug für Familien mit Kindern. Die Einrichtung ist familienfreundlich. Obwohl das Hotel etwas weiter vom Swissôtel und den Thermalquellen entfernt liegt, steht ein Shuttlebus zur Verfügung und die Anreise mit dem Auto ist ebenfalls bequem. In der Nähe befinden sich Lagerfeuer, ein Wildgehege und eine gläserne Brücke über eine Schlucht. Das Hotel bietet viele Annehmlichkeiten im Sommer.

JJohngoIt is located in a quiet area a bit away from the West Slope tourist district, and since it was built recently, the facilities are very clean. There are about 10 rooms, and the owner runs everything personally. They are very friendly and treat guests with great care, providing detailed transportation information about nearby tourist attractions and offering pick-up and drop-off services when moving around. I had a wonderful stay here, and if I have the chance, I would definitely like to stay again.

OOlivier22The hotel offers a stylish, modern room with a bathroom that stands out thanks to its Japanese‑style WC. Its location is practical — only 10–15 minutes from West Changbaishan train station — and there are plenty of dining options nearby, with Korean restaurant being a real highlight.
Breakfast is acceptable, though having eggs cooked to order would make it more appealing. The real advantage of staying here is the access to the hot springs, included in the room price. While several pools were closed during our stay, the outdoor baths were open and provided a very enjoyable experience. A small detail that could improve comfort would be adding a hook on the bathroom door for clothes and towels.
Overall, this property combines modern facilities, a convenient location, and relaxing hot springs, though a few small adjustments could make the stay even better.

MMingJaeNiI forgot to take pictures of the room but I love how huge it is, perfect for groups and families to stay. The host is also very responsive and helpful. He picked up and dropped me off from and to the Railway station, just tell him what you need and he does his best to comply to the requests. The foods are also very local and tasty.
The hotel is just few minutes of walk from Wanda Ski Resort. You can also take a taxi from the hotel to Wanda for more or less than 10rmb. The hotel is just near from several restaurants and stores. I even rented my ski suit from the store just near the hotel for only 80rmb/day with a deposit (refundable) of 300rmb which is way cheaper than renting ski suits from Wanda.
The hotel is in Guosongcun and the place is perfect for those who want peace and quiet, away from too much crowd. Overall, my stay was absolutely pleasant and if I come back to Changbaishanxi again, I will definitely book the same hotel 👍👍👍❤️

GGastnutzerWhat a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families.
For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though.
I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective.
Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building.
I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle.
But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat.
The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient.
It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C.
There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort.
Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol.
Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding.
We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day.
The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around.
Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back.
We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

OOlivier22❄️ The hotel is not the most convenient choice for families with young children or for less experienced skiers, as it is located away from the city centre. Guests always need to rely on shuttles or taxis to get around. The city centre is also where the hot springs, water park, and the snow and ice attractions are located, so unfortunately a lot of time is wasted in transport.
🚐 Shuttle service is a clear area for improvement. The frequency is limited, and we often had to wait quite a while—sometimes missing two full shuttles before being able to board. Increasing the number of shuttles would make a big difference.
🎿 Ski passes are flexible: they can be used on any day, including check-in and check-out days. Usage is limited to once per night, and you can choose either daytime or nighttime skiing—but not both on the same day. However, you don’t need to use them on consecutive days, which gives families more freedom to plan rest days.
🏠 On the positive side, the room was spacious and well equipped. The bar, fitness area, ping-pong room, and yoga room were all enjoyable and added variety to the stay.
Breakfast is also quite varied and good.

GGastnutzerAusstattung: Neben der Klauenmaschine gibt es überraschenderweise auch ein Katzenhaus. Aber was das Skifahren angeht, ist es etwa hundert Meter von der Seilbahn entfernt. Obwohl es nicht weit klingt, ist es ein Nachteil am Changbai-Berg, wo überall Menschen „ein- und ausrutschen“.
Sauberkeit: Mittelmäßig. Als Hotel, das in der Nebensaison 1.000 pro Nacht kostet, ist es nicht das, was es sein sollte.
Umgebung: Es gibt einige Sets, an denen Mädchen Fotos machen können; es gibt auch einige interaktive Requisiten, die für Kinder geeignet sind;
Service: Manager Wang übertrifft alle Erwartungen und ist aufmerksam und fürsorglich.
Essen: Es gibt nur ein westliches Restaurant im Hotel und das Essen kann nicht aufs Zimmer geliefert werden. Glücklicherweise kann man Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellen, obwohl es nicht viele Möglichkeiten gibt. Wer gut essen möchte, muss dennoch mit dem Shuttlebus in den zentralen Bereich des Resorts fahren. Bei vielen Menschen bietet sich auch die Fahrt mit dem Taxi in die Stadt an.

GGastnutzerEin wirklich schöner Ort mit Ruhe und Ruhe, der uns ermöglicht, von der Härte und Büste des Stadtlebens wiederzuladen und wieder aufzubauen. Die Lage kann eine Tad weit von Changbaishan Nordschool sein - aber das Hotel Concierge - ein besonderes Schrei an Herrn , um zu gehen und weiter zu helfen, Tickets zu bekommen und Vereinbarungen sogar am Ruhetag.
Das Zimmer ist wirklich schön und geräumig, und es ist nur eine 10min zu Fuß, um Lebensmittel und Bedürfnisse zu bekommen. Nebenbei bemerkt ist, dass der Spaziergang besser beleuchtet werden könnte, vor allem im Winter, da die Dunkelheit nach 5 Uhr fällt; und es war ein wenig schrecklich, danach zu gehen.
Insgesamt, hoch empfohlen für jemand, der eine Ruhe braucht und eine volle Ladung hat! Wirklich lieben das Zimmer und den unverschämten Service von allen Mitarbeitern :)

Sshaney.yEin wirklich einzigartiges und erinnerebares Erlebnis, das in diesem Hotel zu bleiben. Von dem Zeitpunkt an, als wir ankamen, fühlten wir uns sehr gut umgekommen. Jedes Mitarbeiter, den wir getroffen haben, war freundlich, professionell und ehrlich zu unterhalten, was unseren Aufenthalt extrem komfortable und stressfrei machte.
Eine besondere Erwähnung geht an die Empfängerin H, die während unseres Aufenthalts außergewöhnlich hilfreich war. Da wir die lokalen Apps in China nicht hatten, hat sie uns mit Taxis und Nahrungsmittel bestellt, immer mit Geduld und warmer Einstellung. Ihre Hilfe machte einen großen Unterschied und wir schätzten ihre Betreuung und Aufmerksamkeit.
Wir möchten auch ganz besonders Landland danken, das uns dabei geholfen hat, alles im Zusammenhang mit dem Ski zu organisieren. Von der Organisation von Skiverleih bis zur Koordinierung des Transports zum Skigebiet nur wenige Minuten entfernt wurde alles sehr reibungslos und professionell handhabt. Außerdem nahm Land die Zeit, viele Orte zu empfehlen, um zu besuchen und detaillierte Informationen zu teilen, was unsere Reise noch angenehmer und gut geplant machte.
Insgesamt überstieg dieses Hotel unsere Erwartungen in Bezug auf Service, Komfort und Gastfreundschaft. Es ist selten, einen Ort zu finden, wo die Mitarbeiter so aufmerksam und bereit sind, die zusätzlichen Meile zu gehen, um sicherzustellen, dass die Gäste eine wunderbare Erfahrung haben.
