Atlantis Hotel

Where to begin...self check-in, nobody on site ever. Signs with phone numbers which aren't answered. My single room was absolutely filthy:Everything was shabby and grimy- furniture, tv, floors,skirtings, bathroom, shower, kettle, tray, switches, old stained shabby lamp,curtains, mattress,window and ledge all caked in grime,dust and filth which has very clearly accumulated over some time. Shower attachment broken. Toilet brush disgusting. Toilet roll had marks on it. Towels were stained. Phoned,left vm +sent messages to *********** many times and a bit later received a call from a male telling me that sometimes,things get missed, asked if anything in particular is dirty,and they'd get on to it. Wow. Returning after midnight,nothing had changed. Next morning asked the cook (who was very nice and helpful and hardworking btw)if anyone was around. Was advised he'd be in a bit later on. Popped in later & saw the cook again,so asked for help to get a hairdryer- him and cleaners looked for one, foned another hotel who said they'd send one over immediately. Well I'm still waiting. This was a theme. Woke up early +went out for the day, returning after midnight. Room never cleaned. Messages and phones not answered.Swung by once to find a bundle of sheets on bed and the door left open. Nobody came within that hour.security risk? The place stank of **** too. Saturday I was leaving for the day and asked a lad where the manager was. He replied that nobody is here and was I from room 19, because the room HAS been cleaned. So he was aware... I invited him upstairs to have a look around and pointed out the filth on every single part of the room. He commented "well you have been here a few days now" !! ***. Pointed out the stains on the walls, the manky kettle, everything.in bathroom, he said it was def cleaned cos he did it himself!!! Even when I showed him the broken shower head with black sludge and spots all over the tray,walls,fittings, how it came off when I ran a finger across ,he denied it was dirty. He flung the door open and flew out the room, shouting all the way down the stairs "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT ,LEAVE " over and over again. Even shouting over my voice when asking him to come back up. I called the mobile number again,and spoke to the "manager" who denied the room was dirty,that they'd tried to access 3 times but couldn't! He spoke over me and hung up on me. I Packed my bags and left I tears.The rude shouty ignorant guy was at the door smoking as I left m and i told him he was extremely rude and unprofessional ,shouting at me ,waving arms around, denying the room was dirty when he could see quite plainly it was a squalid embarrassment and he was quite confrontational and aggressive .I left the place crying my eyes out and had to spend a while looking for somewhere else to stay missing out on the concert I'd come down for. I sent a msg to *********** ,then received a call from Jess who was sympathetic and said she'd try find me a room elsewhere. Yet

If you ever shout at your guests again we will have you closed down hotel owners in the town have bad tempers chips on ther shoulders how dare you we will.report our stay to licencing it was horrendous and your attention to us and attitude Needs to be looked at hotel owner you are not fit to hold licence

Shower holder broken, hot tap not connected to sink, side lamp in poor shape and not working, wall lights not working and only had one bulb. Toilet seat the cheapest, poorest quality wouldn't stay put. Promised new lamp/ bulbs but nothing arrived. The bedding was bobbly and well used, the carpet had what looked like gum ground in and was unacceptably grubby. No heat provided from radiators until day 2 after several guests complained. Stayed with 2 other friends who also had major issues with their rooms. Breakfast was comprehensive and of varying quality. Overcooked, strangely coloured bacon, cheapest sausages and hard eggs but the worst was the sight of the kitchen, the floor was black with dirt the rest didn't look too good either, the dining room looked like it had had work done that had not been hoovered or cleaned up and the kitchen staff were wearing several layers of clothes including their coats. Bizarre. Left very early day 2 skipping shower and breakfast deciding I'd do that when I got home. Another thing to note is that the stairs are very narrow and steep so if you can't deal with that be warned. On a plus note, the hotel was quiet, the location is great if you want to be near the tower and the staff were friendly. Hence the 1 star.

Awful. Was in room 1, didn't like the code system of getting in, was text before getting to the b&b with the codes, Wanted to leave as soon as getting in the room, but with it being non refundable stuck it out! Could of had a field day taking loads of photos of the room, but had better things to do. Bedding ripped, someone else's drink stains in the cups. Going to the dining area, there was snail trail all round. Breakfast not 100% Best thing about the stay, was grabbing the bags and getting out the door.

BAD EXPERIENCE We r inquired where was best to go for night out with in 10 min my 20yr old was told where she could couldn’t get beat ***** (she dosnt do theses)she wasn’t sure how work shower so a female worker came in to show her in that time a male worker just walked in the girls room no knocking or warning. During the night their door was opened! Staff denied this when q in am that morning I removed my daughter and her freimd and paid for new hotel (couldn’t do new-years eve due to availability). Complaint mad through *********** who numerous occasions tryed to contact hotel and hotel failed to reply to them. I received a Text response from hotel asking if it be beneficial for both of us if I removed my feed bk in return for particle refund. I did replie that I’d be will to update my feed back but feel it’s fair I received full refund she only stayed for one night out of two of wich night was not enjoyable and sleep broken and none of the breakfasts were consumed due to leaving first think new-years day due to all the above.

Was here for 5 days, had 2 different rooms in this time, room 4 and 6 i believe. Room 4 was great for a family with children as it had the main room with a bathroom, TV which i think was meant to be on the wall and s good amount of closet space, it has a second bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed with its own bathroom too. The beds was comfortable, the decor is great and the workers are fantastic help. I only had breakfast one day and it too was fantastic, i walk with a stick on occasion because of health and no comments were made as i have experienced in other hotels nearby and there was stairs but i managed to get up them, the second room was great too, a double and single bed with a bathroom, a side for clothes and food ect and a wardrobe, the decor again was great and the room felt like that of a 5 star hotel, The curtain fell off and the staff tried their best to put it up as i saw they had done once we checked out, I will be returning here at a later date as its perfectly placed between the beach and the town centre.

Fabulous stay always made welcome by Jess & Jo, brilliant breakfasts buffet style cooked by Jo. Rooms are basic but you get what you pay for, I have stayed here now around 6 times and would highly recommend this if your wanting cheap cheerful and very close to all Blackpool has to offer.

The photos on web sites are nothing like the hotel is. Room 4 is filthy, there is mold on all walls, thick dust everywhere, showers don’t work, one doesn’t even have a head on it. Peices of skirting board missing, punched holes in the doors, no door handles. Filthy pillows and mattresses, outside the hotel was filthy and loads of cigarettes butts by the door. I’ve stayed in many B&Bs and hotels , but honestly this is the worst I’ve ever seen, the best thing is we received a text from the owner asking us to give him 10/10 for are stay. I don’t think so. Other guests were appalled by the hotel who we spoke to outside. Avoid this place like the PLAGUE.

I have stayed all over the UK and this is the filthiest dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in I had no warm water the whole of my stay carpets you couldn't walk on filthy on arriving outside the hotel was covered in cigarette ends and mould never been hosed or brushed in years inside hotel walls never been painted in years covered in all sorts of disgusting things panels on staircase falling off in dining room snail trails everywhere my bedroom stank my elderly friends room was unbelievable bath in room with socket attached to panel disaster waiting to happen water pouring in through the ceiling of my other friends and his toilet never worked from the day we arrived contacted Tony the owner numerous times but was not interested only interested in taking our hard earned money and disappearing I'm absolutely certain if health and safety and environmental health visit this disgusting and dangerous place it will be condemned I'm giving a honest and truthful review please avoid at all cost
