We returned to this hotel, now Wayfinder Inn, after a good experience in 2022 with Creekside Inn. The positive: nicely furnished lobby, good location, comfortable beds, good breakfast buffet. The negative: poorly designed individual HVAC systems don't work properly, thin interior walls, some reception desk staff need additional training in customer service, in-room lighting is too dim to read a book by. Shout out to Carlos and to Tim, who did their jobs well. And to the front desk lady talking to computer tech support while I waited seven minutes for her to finish her call, please know that our time is valuable, even if we're not furiously pounding on your counter. The computer system is hinky and sent me duplicate bills. I complained about roasting in a west-facing room with no A/C. The tech reset the system, but it still failed. After a second night of cooking, I was relocated to a cooler downstairs north-facing room with working A/C. Readers, please make sure your A/C is working properly. Several other guests had faulty HVAC units, too.
