I stopped here one night with friends for my birthday. The hotel is easy to get to, and the location is excellent as it’s located on Broad Street, near Brindley Place which hosts a wide range of bars and pubs. So if you’re visiting Birmingham to have a drunken, night out or a special occasion then this hotel is perfect. There’s also parking on site behind the hotel which is very handy, unfortunately the car park isn’t discounted for guests stopping in the hotel. After waiting in a small queue, we attempted to check in at 14:30 (half hour earlier than check in ‘opens’) we were told the room wasn’t ready. Which wasn’t an issue as they had luggage storage available. We can back to check in at 16:00 and the queue was horrendous. I’ve never seen a queue as big as this to check in for a hotel before. We waited for 20 minutes until we checked in. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Although there were coffee cups left behind the curtains upon entry. The bathroom was very modern and had a walk in shower. The beds were unbelievably comfy and had plug sockets by the side of the bed which is a massive plus as not every hotel has this. Luckily, it was a quicker process checking out as you can just pop your keys in the ‘express checkout box’. Overall, a comfortable night stay in the heart of Birmingham, unfortunately the check in was horrific.

Freundliches Personal und alles was ein 2-Sterne-Hotel hat. Es war ein heißer Tag in Birmingham am 18. Juli. Die Klimaanlage ist für uns eine gute Erkenntnis. Wir sind mit dem Service zufrieden, obwohl wir heißes Wasser aus dem Gemeinschaftsbereich holen müssen.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut, aber es ist sehr gut. Es war schön, bei der Eincheckung mit einem Lächeln zu begrüßen. Die Zimmer sind auf der kleinen Seite, aber die Layout funktioniert sehr gut und macht den größten Teil des Raums. Das Badezimmer ist sauber und bietet Shampoo, Körperwaschung usw. für Menschen, die Reisen Licht. Glücklicherweise haben die Zimmer Klimaanlage, die perfekt für diese heißen Sommernachten ist. Absolut empfehlen, erstaunliche Absprache zum Preis!

Die Lage ist bequem und die Umgebung ist ruhig. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels verfügt dieses Hotel über Klimaanlage. Wenn Sie gerne lesen, haben sie auch eine komfortable Lobby.

There were no towels despite me having a booking for six people, and only one toilet roll but after asking I did get everything I needed. Also there’s no point checking in online as it’s still a very long wait at reception. Car park is pretty much non existent but overall I’m happy with my stay.

Großer Preis für das Geld Hotel mit hervorragendem Personal. Ich habe seit 3 Wochen hier auf und aus geblieben, um meinen Sohn zu unterstützen, der für Arbeit weg von Hause arbeitet. Ich kann dem Personal nicht für ihre Hilfe, Service und Professionalität danken. Das ist kein 5- oder sogar 4-Sterne-Hotel, sondern es hat einen sauberen, fabulösen Wert und hat einen freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Das Personal hat mir geholfen, das Hotel zu arbeiten, mit meinem Sohn in Komfort zu bleiben und mehrmals über die Anrufung der Pflicht hinausgeht. Danke, ich würde nicht zögern, hier zu bleiben oder das Hotel zu empfehlen, für einen freundlichen, wertvollen Aufenthalt mit Service und Einrichtungen. Gut gemacht alle Team!!

Genießen Sie einen Aufenthalt mit Hilfe des Personals im Voraus, um sich um meine Taschen für ein paar Tage vor unserer Ankunft zu kümmern. Nahe einige schnelle Speisegelenke und die Autobahn. Auch einige grassige Bereiche, um den Hund zu Fuß. Nur eine Sache - stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie Ihren Auto mit dem Hotelsystem registrieren. Ich war 400 Meilen fahren und war nicht über ein Parksystem informiert (ok, ich lebe in einem entfernten Teil von Schottland, das nicht für den Parkplatz gebührt). Das Personal hat es auch nie erwähnt, aber sie waren nett zwischen dem servieren von Getränken und der Registrierung von Gästen beschäftigt. Ich habe eine Rechnung für 100 £, mit der ich nicht beeindruckt war (endlich auf 20 £ nach einem Rechtsbehelf - das gescheitert, obwohl ich bestätigt habe, dass ich in den Räumlichkeiten wohnte).

Ich möchte zunächst sagen, dass ich in der Regel im Hotel Village bleiben, aber beschlossen, diesen einen Versuch zu geben. Dieses Hotel als Air Con, das Hotel Village nicht. Die Lage ist großartig gerade von der M5, alles ist leicht zugänglich Ich reservierte ein Doppelzimmer, die Betten waren so komfortabel, wie Sie mit einem Mercure Hotel erwarten würden. Das Zimmer war auf hohem Standard dekoriert und hatte alles, was Sie bequem sein müssen. Das einzige negative, was den Aufenthalt einiger Menschen beeinträchtigen könnte, ist das Badezimmer, es hat eine Mixer Dusche, so dass der Druck des Wassers sehr schwach war. Ich sprach zu der Rezeption, die mich informierte, dass in naher Zukunft das verändert werden. Das Frühstück war lecker, wenn Sie nur gekühlte Eier bitten möchten, sie freuen sich, zu bitten. Hier ist jetzt mein Aufenthaltsort, wenn ich Familie in den Mitten besuche. We booked this hotel last minute after having to make changes to our trip to the NEC. Not fancying a glamping pod, we booked a room and were allocated the honeymoon suite. The hotel was very clean throughout and you could smell the cleaning products as soon as you walked in, indicating the cleaners had been in doing a thorough job. Staff were lovely and friendly and let us check in an hour early as the room was ready when we arrived at 2pm. Free parking is provided and I could see my car from the window of our room. The location is good and site was nice and quiet, despite having an events centre next door. There isn’t much within walking distance however there’s a bar and restaurant on site to cater for your needs. There’s also free wifi however our mobile signals were absolutely fine so we had no reason to make use of it on this occasion. Jacuzzi in the room was a nice touch and big enough to fit two people in. Was delighted to find out that a complimentary breakfast was included the following morning, and not too early either, starting at 9am. Sunday check out at 11am was ideal without us having to rush. As pleasant as the hotel is, it needs a fair bit of work. It’s very dated and tired looking. It’s creaky and old and is in need of a bit of a restoration, more than just a lick of paint here and there. The walls are paper thin, as I was lying in bed I could hear the person in the next room using the toilet - I won’t get graphic but let me just say I could hear everything as though I was in the room with them. One of the windows in our room wouldn’t shut at all, which wasn’t a massive issue as the weather wasn’t too bad, but during colder months this would’ve been impossible to sleep through. The old wooden frames were warped and you couldn’t even put it on the latch as the metal lever had snapped. There was no hot water for the shower so we were forced to take a cool shower. Not the end of the world but a bit inconvenient. My wife also pointed out that there was nowhere for her to get ready and do her makeup. The room is more than big enough to fit a dressing table in and this would’ve saved her sitting on the floor in front of the mirror to do her hair and makeup. It’s also pricey compared to local competitors. Breakfast was okay but lacking a few basics - no hash brown or black pudding. It would also benefit from a variety of options such as fresh fruit and yogurt. On the whole it was a nice experience but I’d only stay here again if I couldn’t get in anywhere else OR if it was modernised and updated throughout.

Ich werde es nicht gegen das Hotel halten, wenn andere Gäste außerhalb meiner Tür Lärm machen. Die Lage ist großartig, Zimmer sind sauber, gut mit Tee/Kaffee gespeichert, das Personal ist freundlich und professionell, so was ich sonst bitte. Das Hotel ist nicht ein spankendes neues Hotel, so erwarten Sie einige unvermeidliches Traum und Tränen. Da das Wetter heiß geworden war, begann das Zimmer zu satt und ich musste die Fenster öffnen, die aussehend auf eine ruhige Straße. Wenn ich es brauche, würde ich hier nochmal bleiben, da es ein angenehmer Ort ist.
