Tyn-y-Coed Inn

We had a warm welcome and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The restaurant was excellent, food was delicious and freshly prepared. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Welcoming and helpful staff who found safe storage for 3 bikes, and catered for vegan dietary requirements. Good food and beer. Had the Siabod burger and it was superb. Comfortable and clean room, good shower- only room ****** was if you leave the window open it lets lots of midges in, and got hot with it closed. Excellent breakfast- very very filling!

Well what can I say . A beautiful place to stay , staff went beyond and above , they were all so welcoming and friendly . the food was outstanding . I would definitely stay there again. The view from the hotel and beer garden was something . Siabod mountain in full view

The Good: • Very clean rooms • Breakfast had good choices from simple pastries, porridge, vegan full breakfast, Welsh full breakfast etc. • The staff are very friendly. • The beer garden was nice. • Allowed to keep mountain bike in the hotel conference room to keep it safe. • Free parking. • Good communication from messages sent. • Decent hot water and shower/wash facilities The Not-So-Good… My room (No.2) was at the front of the hotel and the road noise is substantial as it is an 'A' Road. Although not a busy 'A' Road, it is a main route for trucks as well as cars. Thankfully main flow of traffic ceased around 11 pm, but I needed my earplugs and the window closed to achieve decent sleep. There is also a double door that goes to the conference room and this has a harsh closing which results in a 'bang' being heard in the room. The walls are not the best at silencing sounds, so if you are a light sleeper - be prepared - ask for a quiet room!

Fantastic hotel, very clean & accessible, free carpark across the road & a really nice grounds to sit in (weather permitting) The rooms were nice & compact, with complimentary tea, coffee & hot chocolate. Also a great power shower, hand & body wash also in the bathroom. Hair dryer also available in the room. The food was amazing & with plenty of choice. (The garlic potatoes are amazing) All staff were very helpful & friendly however a special mention for Tanya as she really did go above & beyond for our group & is super helpful & friendly, Tanya really did ensure we had what we needed & really made our stay enjoyable.

A group of us stayed here for a mid week mountain biking break. The beds were comfy and the staff were friendly. We loved that fact the we didn’t need to got out searching for a restaurant that was open and the food and drink were excellent, especially breakfast 😊 We will return 👍

Simple hotel with wonderful staff and good food. Great welcome. Comfortable room without unnecessary extras. Limited menu with a specials board. Excellent food. Good breakfast. Easy reach of Snowdonia National Park. Super walks from door of hotel. Garden with seating area and lovely view. Linked to nearby Zip World at Betws y Coed.

Fab place, people, food & great nights sleep. Couldn’t fault our stay of 2 nights at all. The staff are very helpful and go above & beyond to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay. Would love to visit again, everything on your doorstep. Thanks very much :)

The place was virtually empty and there was no atmosphere. The club sandwich took ages to arrive and when it did I had to wait for mine to arrive so my husband had almost finished his. Would hate to think how long we’d have to wait if they were busy. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning
