Man muss mal ehrlich sein, Strand ist super Liegen sind vergammelt oder ohne Auflagen. Zimmer sind mehr als in die Jahre gekommen. Personal ist teilweise sehr freundlich, aber einige Kollegen gehen gar nicht. Essen ist sehr gut , das Frühstück ist überraschend gut . Das gesamte Restaurant könnte ein Facelift vertragen. Fazit: Wir sind zur Zeit im Ressort und ich finde den Hotelpreis für so ein in die Jahre gekommene Hotel überzogen. Das Personal ist bemüht hält sich aber schwer in Grenzen. Das Restaurant gleicht mehr einer Zweitklassigen Kantine, Massenabfertigung , keine Atmosphäre Die Zimmer sind aus den 70er gehören dringend renoviert

Positiv: - Strand ist sauber und ruhig. - Möglichkeit mehrere Strandabchnitte zu besuchen (Taxi). - a la Carte essen im Restaurant sehr gut. - Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. - Insel ruhig und leer (Feb. 23). - Rundum Transfer, reibungslos und sicher. Negativ: - Teuer (Zimmer, Essen, Wassertaxi). - Die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. (5A) - Liegen teilweise nicht verstellbar, da defekt/kaputt! - Liegen werden von Touristen immer reserviert und sind den ganzen Tag besetzt! - Zu wenig Liegen! - Ohne Wassertaxi kann man die Insel nicht erkunden. Wenn das Meer nicht mitspielt, kann man die anderen Abschnitte nicht benutzen. Man kommt nicht vom Fleck. - Wenn es regnet kann man nichts machen, außer im Zimmer zu hocken. - WLAN gibt es nur im Restaurant. - Im Zimmer gibt es keine Unterhaltungsmöglichkeit (kein Fernseher, kein Internet). - Frühstück nicht gut. Sehr wenig Auswahl. Kaum Aufschnitt z. B. Käse o. Wurst. Nur Marmelade, Erdnussbutter, Kaya, Butter. Um 9:00 Uhr war das meiste schon vergriffen. - Das Hotel entspricht einem 2* Hotel aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Es ist so teuer wie ein 4* Hotel.

Freundliche Mitarbeiter, gute Aussicht, gutes Essen, günstige Preise. Wenn man Glück hat sitzt man direkt am Meer und kann den Tag dort ausklingen lassen. Kartenzahlung ist auch möglich. Alles in Allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

Tolles Hotel mit leckerem Frühstück und abwechslungsreicher Auswahl beim Abendessen. Schärfe der Gerichte für Europäer geeignet. Tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten für das Schnorcheln für wenig Geld. Das einzige Manko waren die Matratzen, daran hat man sich aber auch schnell gewöhnt.

We stayed at Tuna Bay for 2 weeks. Overall it was a very good holiday. The location is amazing, beautiful silky white sand and a reef right at your doorstep. The fish are friendly and the reef itself is unspoiled and healthy. A lot of it looks like Heather ground cover from Scotland and plenty of fish families you can get to know. The rooms are basic, our bed was very hard and shower was good. The food was very good with an extensive menu with lots of variety. We did some exploring of nearby islands, caught the water taxi to check out the opposite island and a jungle trek also. Staff were great, friendly and helpful, the 2 massages I had were excellent. It’s good value for money where there are not many mid level resorts. It’s a place you can really relax in and feel at home.

The resort's location is its most prized asset ! Travelled as a big family and booked the 3d2n package. Well organised from their office near jetty for boat transfer. Breakfast, lunch and tea was very underwhelming especially by Malaysian standards. Breakfast spread was limited and repetitive. Was annoyed to be informed all adults must have the same thing for lunch - fish n chips day 1 chicken chop day 2. To be fair, dinner however was good for both nights. Not once were we asked for dietary preferences, it was just served after headcount was confirmed. Rooms were tired and on the small side but the location especially the beachfront chalet more than make up for this. Snorkeling was not guided, the boats will take you to the location and off you go. Overall the island is still one of the better ones in East Coast and was not disappointed.

The bartender was very rude and you had to get your drinks from the counter. We just asked where this ship was going, and the bartender said it could go anywhere, even the United States but we are in Malaysia. Good thing is the snack served is good.

My husband and I stayed for 2N/3D in Perhentian Tuna Bay Resort. This was our second time to visit Perhentian islands. Everything was very well managed. We took the snorkeling package with airport transportation. 1- The airport pickup went smooth 2- The welcome at the office to take the boat was very welcoming 2- The boat trip was good 3- We booked the beach front room. It is stunning because it is directly next to the beach 4- snorkeling next to the main beach of the hotel is beautiful reef. lots of fish and look for the clown fish family in the anemone. 5- The food is good. It is so much better than the other resort we stayed in . And they are very helpful in the restaurant. The rooms are clean 6- the two snorkeling trips were good We swam next to the green sea turtles, We saw more than one shark while snorkeling in the shark point. A lot of reefs to swim and see a lot of fish Only one negative thing is the poor wifi . You can only have wifi connection in the restaurant. I would like to thank the management of the resort for making this trip an unforgettable one.

Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return. We stayed 3 nights but will be more next time. You are right on the beach and it's great for snorkeling over the coral. The rooms are basic but clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming with the exception of one. Very easy to get to the small island if you want more nightlife.
