Lovely grounds, excellent food and stunning customer service. Staying for work with 2 small dogs the staff couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy and well cared for. Everyone we dealt with was a dream and suoer friendly. One waiter even brought a plate of sausage for the dogs at breakfast. Rooms and decor a little dated, bathroom clean but showing signs of age. Bed very comfy and both evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Breakfast set-up is a little odd but not really an issue. Didnt use the spa or pool. Overall I'd happily come back but if you're fussy about aesthetics its probably not for you.

Bei der Ankunft hatte ich große Vorbehalte zu dem, was ich gebucht hatte. Die Fotos auf der Buchungsstelle waren nichts wie das, was ich sah. Der Park war nealri-Rubbel und die umliegenden Flächen wurden schlecht gepflegt. Die Rezeption war in Aussehen ziemlich groß, aber das ist der einzige gute Punkt, den dieses Hotel für sie geleitet hat. Für die Größe des Ortes gibt es kaum Personal. Das Zimmer, das ich reserviert hatte, war jetzt nicht verfügbar, so angesichts eines anderen. Auf der Straße war ich auf dem Teppich in Steinen geflogen, absolut gefülltes Zimmer war sehr gefüllt und die Möbel waren eine Sammlung von zufälligen Biten, unser Kaffeetisch fehlte ein Bein und wurde von einem Stuhl gegossen. Einige alte 5 Pin-Plug-Sockets an den Betten für die Lampen. Bar-Bereich war auch im Aussehen müde, obwohl das Personal sehr freundlich war. Der ganze Ort braucht eine große Umstellung.

I stopped here one night with friends for my birthday. The hotel is easy to get to, and the location is excellent as it’s located on Broad Street, near Brindley Place which hosts a wide range of bars and pubs. So if you’re visiting Birmingham to have a drunken, night out or a special occasion then this hotel is perfect. There’s also parking on site behind the hotel which is very handy, unfortunately the car park isn’t discounted for guests stopping in the hotel. After waiting in a small queue, we attempted to check in at 14:30 (half hour earlier than check in ‘opens’) we were told the room wasn’t ready. Which wasn’t an issue as they had luggage storage available. We can back to check in at 16:00 and the queue was horrendous. I’ve never seen a queue as big as this to check in for a hotel before. We waited for 20 minutes until we checked in. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Although there were coffee cups left behind the curtains upon entry. The bathroom was very modern and had a walk in shower. The beds were unbelievably comfy and had plug sockets by the side of the bed which is a massive plus as not every hotel has this. Luckily, it was a quicker process checking out as you can just pop your keys in the ‘express checkout box’. Overall, a comfortable night stay in the heart of Birmingham, unfortunately the check in was horrific.

Yes, it is very worn and dated but it does have a retro 70's charm and provides very good value. Reception was polite and professional but could have been more supportive. We had a issue as our hotel booking site had not paid the hotel. The receptionist ask us to phone them to solve the issue. At better hotels, the reception would have offered to do provide this service. A lack of training? The location is excellent being in the centre of the city, across from the bus station and the transport museum. The views of the ruins of the old in the background and new in the foreground among other ancient and contemporary buildings is wonderful from the rooms at the rear of the hotel are wonderful. The balcony that some of the rooms to the rear have would be a very pleasant place to relax in good weather. The beds are very large and reasonably comfortable with clean beading. The carpet of our room was new, and others were being replaced as we were there. The state of the decor was adequate and past ready for a make-over. However, for the price and location, it was acceptable. The breakfast, which was included, was a pleasant surprise. The buffet breakfast room had a was cosy feel, there was a good selection of cereals, preserved fruits and yogurt. The full English breakfast was very well prepared and of good quality ingredients. The tea and coffee were also of a good standard. Service was professional and efficient, clearly aiming to provide their clients with a very pleasant start to their day.

I cant thank the staff enough from check in to check out the service was excellent. The ladies on check in were very efficient and helped with car park charges. The staff were accommodating to provide extra toilet roll finished in room and nothing was an inconvenience for the staff. I will most likely visit again.

Dieses Aparthotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und es ist einfach zu Fuß zu gehen für Einkaufen, Essen, Bars, Unterhaltung und mehr. Das Eigentum ist in einem Fußgängergebiet, das groß ist, da Sie nicht den Verkehr zu verdrängen müssen, während Sie wieder in Ihre Wohnung im Dunkeln! Das Empfangsgebiet ist sehr einfach und minimalist, was auch groß ist, weil man direkt für den Aufzug fahren kann, anstatt jedes Schritt der Straße viel Ablenkung zu haben. Das Empfangsteam war immer freundlich und professionell. Beim Einchecken war unser Zimmer nicht bereit, aber nach dem Mittagessen waren wir bereits in die Wohnung für uns gekommen. Die Wohnung war schön, sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Wir hatten eine Clubman-Apartment, die den Zusatzbonus eines schönen großen Badezimmers hatte. Das Schlafzimmer war klein, aber perfekt gut für unseren 4-night Aufenthalt. Die Küchenzone hatte alles, was Sie für sich selbst kochen müssen, wenn Sie wollen, obwohl wir überhaupt nicht kochen. Es gab eine Saftmaschine und Kaffeemaschine, aber keine Anweisungen. Da wir über solche Dinge uns klugen, endeten wir mit weder. Die Ansichten aus der Wohnung sind erstaunlich, vor allem in der Nacht, wenn alles aufgehebt ist. Es war ein schöner, entspannter Aufenthalt und ich würde sicherlich wieder in diesen Wohnungen für Komfort, Komfort und Lage bleiben.

There were no towels despite me having a booking for six people, and only one toilet roll but after asking I did get everything I needed. Also there’s no point checking in online as it’s still a very long wait at reception. Car park is pretty much non existent but overall I’m happy with my stay.

The location of the hotel was okay, good nearby links to the train station and attractions. There's no food or drink other than vending machines in the hotel but there is a Sainsbury's local opposite. Bed was comfy and the temperature of the room was controlled. TV was very small and in an awkward position to watch from laying in bed. No hand soap in the dispenser and there was also a leak from the toilet/sink area.

In general, this hotel was worth booking. The staffs there were very kind and helpful. The foods served in breakfast were so far so good. The family room was tidy but could be a much better for the general hygiene condition. In view of the price for the room, it worth for a family to have a short stay in here
