For a big birthday, I decided to stay at Fivelements not only for the beautiful property but also because I wanted to do a fire ceremony, and was having trouble finding how to plan one around Ubud. Well, the experience blew me away, it was incredibly special and I have the amazing staff there to thank for that. On top of that, the properly is just special. It has a peaceful, serene, healing energy that you feel the moment you step onto to the property. We were lucky enough to stay in a room with a babbling brook nearby, which helped to put me into a deep sleep every night. The food really stood out for me. It's vegan-focused and healthy, yet still filling. Do yourself a favor and try the jackfish tacos, the poke bowl, the beetroot burger, all the desserts though the mocha semifreddo was my favorite. If you take a stroll through their garden, you'll see the fruits and veggies that are used in the meals --it's truly farm to table. One morning I saw eggplants growing and that evening ate them in my meal. The staff is standout. They are incredibly responsive with any issues or needs, always have smiles on their faces and genuinely seem happy to be there. Our stay exceeded my expectations. One thing to note is that it's not in Ubud central at all - it's about 20 minutes away from city center so just note that if you're planning to be off the property or doing a lot of touring. We went to a nearby waterfall and then had dinner in Ubud one night. The hotel can set up cabs for you, or you can easily get a scooter or taxi if you download the Grab app. Oh! and don't forget to try yoga in one of their gorgeous studios in the morning. They also have a nice gym, and the pool has to be seen to be believed. It also overlooks the brook and makes you wonder how you stumbled upon such a paradise. I will definitely be back.

Chambre avec piscine privée ayant une eau froide qu ils ne peuvent pas chauffer, pour une prestation de luxe c'est bizarre !! La meilleure, le personnel qui nous a accusé de voler à tord, un seul verre de thé qui ne coûte même pas 3 euros le prsonnel parle très mal l anglais Après le check out on nous demande indirectement de quitter le lieu !!

We chose this hotel not knowing it was a pure vegan hotel, which ruined it a lot for us. It was very hard to find for our driver, as the entrance is located in a village far from the main road. After 25 minutes he finally got through narrow streets and found it. As mentioned earlier this is a vegan hotel. So if you’re vegan and like yoga/mindfulness this is the right hotel for you. The breakfast was very poor. It took almost 1 hour to get it. If you’re into the instagram good looking breakfast this is it. It looks good but that’s it. The taste is absolutely awful or bland, never good. Luckily they have a shuttle bus service free of charge, as the hotel is situated in a remote are close to the river. So you can get to Ubud center in 30 minutes. Unfortunately the first departure is a 11am, so you really can’t do anything before this, unless you’re into yoga or having a massage - of course this costs extra. The rooms are quit big and clean with a nice bath outside in the open air. All in all a nice hotel. Unfortunately situated very badly and with poor food.

I had a fantastic time staying at 5 Elements. The room was exceptionally clean and beautifully appointed. I have a keen eye for the cleanliness and comfort of a bed, and I must say that my sleep here was impeccable; I have no complaints whatsoever. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, and the sheets were not only clean but also of excellent quality. The ambiance, the lush plantation surroundings, and everything else about the place were simply beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly and exceptionally helpful throughout my stay. I also had the chance to try their yoga classes, which were incredibly relaxing, and the yoga shala was beautifully designed. Even though I'm not a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious vegan dishes on their menu. I must admit that I didn't expect the culinary experience to be this good. My personal favorites were the mushroom noodles, tempeh teriyaki salad, and banana spring rolls. All in all, my experience staying here was absolutely wonderful, and I am definitely looking forward to returning in the future.

I spent my 60th birthday at Fivelements Retreat. It was an exceptional experience!!! I was made to feel so special by the staff who went out of their way to make my birthday special. This included a Flower Arrangement in my room saying Happy Birthday in flowers, a delicious cake with candle and birthday wishes written in cocoa. I chose to have a Fire Ceremony and Water blessing on my birthday day. This was a truly amazing experience to be blessed by a High Priest on my birthday.. Although we had planned otherwise, we actually never left the Fivelement Retreat as we were so happy and content there. I had a few healings with one of the healers that were amazing. The outdoor bath overlooking the river was a beautiful way to start each day. The rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff and service were impeccable. A 5-star experience!!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband. This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The room was amazing, the meals are unbelievable, and the spa was fabulous. Everyone was so nice and professional and we wish we could have stayed longer.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, but I visited the spa while in Ubud. It was FANTASTIC! I had a foot soak, massage, body scrub, and flower soak. The area is so scenic and the service was incredible. Highly recommend! You can also lay by the pool and eat at the restaurant before or after your services.

I stayed at Five Elements Retreat in December travelling by myself. The staff were fabulous the manager is great. LOVED my room with private pool. Yoga classes in the most beautiful shala I have seen. Very relaxing and a great place to get away from everything. The vegetarian food is was great and you will definitely not go hungry, and even if you aren’t vegan you will find food on the menu to satisfy. A bit of a distance to UBUD but it’s easy and accessible by shuttle and if you want to go out late it’s very cheap and easy to get a taxi back.
