We had an amazing stay at Sheraton Palawan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially the front office team who made us feel right at home. Their smiles and professionalism truly set the tone for our vacation. A very special mention goes to Hassanul Caye from the restaurant — he went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made every dining experience extra memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that kept us looking forward to every meal. The pool is impressively huge and perfect for both relaxation and fun, while the updated amenities gave us that modern yet cozy feel we were looking for. On top of it all, the breathtaking mountain view added such a serene and refreshing touch to our stay. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Sheraton Palawan is truly a place where hospitality meets comfort, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

First of all i would like to say thank you to all the staff in Carpe diem especially to Donald! ;) the guy at the reception i really appreciate the helpfulness, and also the treatment he gave us it was a delightful experienced i worked in a service industry too and this is really important to have those excellent service in order to sustain the business, whoever is the owner of this hotel please do appreciate the hard-work of Donald im really glad of what he did for us during our stay, the staff are well trained, and overall the room is huge, and clean the amenities are great:) Thank you Carpe diem! Was für ein Aufenthalt! Das Personal ist unglaublich herzlich und freundlich. Bei der Ankunft wird man von fröhlichen Mitarbeitern mit einem Willkommensgetränk begrüßt. Obwohl man zu Beginn viele Informationen erhält, erhält man anschließend hilfreicherweise ein A4-Blatt mit allen Informationen, damit man sie nicht vergisst. Nach einem für uns ziemlich katastrophalen Reisetag war dank des Personals und der Schönheit des Hotels alles vergessen. Es war auch das einzige Hotel, in dem wir übernachtet haben (wir haben auf unseren Philippinen-Reisen schon in vielen übernachtet), das unsere Flitterwochen ernst nahm und sich darum kümmerte. Sie halfen uns auch bei der Buchung von Taxis und der unterirdischen Flusstour (sehr empfehlenswert!). Am Strand bieten sie Gästen außerdem einen kostenlosen Kajakverleih an. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt! Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Insgesamt war die Erfahrung großartig. Wir haben unsere Zeit in diesem Hotel wirklich genossen. Das Personal war sehr entgegenkommend (sie mussten uns allerdings ein anderes Zimmer geben, da die Klimaanlage des ersten Zimmers unangenehm roch), aber sie haben uns problemlos ein anderes Zimmer gegeben und alles war in Ordnung. Ich denke, wenn die Klimaanlage eine Weile nicht läuft, können sie das machen. Der Pool war absolut großartig, wir haben die meisten Tage mindestens einmal im Pool verbracht. Ich hätte mir zwar einen kleinen Schattenbereich über dem Pool selbst gewünscht, aber die Wassertemperatur war genau richtig und so entspannend. Das Frühstück bot eine große Auswahl und war sehr lecker. Wir haben dort auch einige Mittag- und Abendessen eingenommen, die auch alle großartig waren. Es gibt eine sehr coole 360-Grad-Dachbar mit Happy Hour. Es war jedoch enttäuschend, dass in der Information an der Rezeption stand, dass Cocktails und Bier zur Happy Hour inbegriffen seien, aber als wir dort hochgingen, wurde uns gesagt, dass es Bier nur zu Happy-Hour-Preisen gibt. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind einfach atemberaubend, egal wohin man schaut, und es ist wirklich friedlich. Es ist ein bisschen weit weg, also braucht man ein Motorrad oder ein Auto zum Mieten, was wir hatten, also war das für uns kein Problem. Es war einer der erholsamsten Aufenthalte, die wir auf den Philippinen hatten, und wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! :)

It was truly an excellent stay here in Casa Belina, from the owner who is very kind and very thoughtful to the reception staff Anthony who is very helpful from our inquiry up to the time of our stay. The place is very clean, and the breakfast is perfect. The price of the accommodation plus the free shuttle from and to the airport and the free breakfast is very much affordable. We will surely come back here at Casa Belina

Das Hotel hat einen schönen Pool und einen ansprechenden Eingang. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer ist einfach und etwas dunkel, da man von draußen hineinsehen kann, wenn man die Vorhänge öffnet. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über Klimaanlage und einen Warmwasserbereiter, was sehr praktisch war. Das Bett war bequem und es gab einen Kühlschrank. Man benötigt ein Tuk-Tuk (150 Pesos pro Fahrt), um irgendwohin zu gelangen, was mich aber nicht gestört hat. Was mir jedoch gar nicht gefallen hat, waren die Preise für das Essen. Es war die teuerste Speisekarte, die ich je auf den Philippinen für normales Essen gesehen habe – nicht einmal für gehobene Küche, und der Geschmack war wirklich durchschnittlich. Allein deswegen würde ich nicht noch einmal hier übernachten. Insgesamt sind die Zimmer aber in Ordnung.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und hat eine fantastische Ausstattung. Die gesamte Hotel Einrichtung ist eine Art Art Deko Einrichtung und ist mit sehr viel Fantasie aufgebaut worden. Die Poolanlage hat im wahrsten Sinn des Wort olympische Größe. Das japanische Restaurant Yama hat eine besondere Ausstattung und ist als Rooftopbar gut gelegen. Das italienische Restaurant Tomato Basil macht sehr gut Pizza und Pasta. Ausflüge nach El Nido oder Coroll sind ohne Probleme über das Hotel oder privat buchbar.

University /University dorm partially turned into a hotel with minimal investment. The result is mostly positive. The hotel is very photogenic so it's easy to get the impression that it's much more swanky than it actually is.. I enjoyed my stay, the staff is friendly, it's clean, surrounded by greenery and nice views. Don't let the name Hotel Palacio fool you, don't expect a palace, the hotel is modest but comfortable. Location wise, it's out of town which was no problem for me as I had prearranged a motorbike during my 7 days stay. For those pending on jeepney public transport or tricycle taxis, places like the baywalk are far away. The van I had organised to the airport early morning with the receptionist was punctually waiting for me. Everything was good. Expect a 3 star property and you won't be disappointed.

Wir verbrachten drei Tage im Chrome Hotel in Napolovan, während wir auf unseren Flug warteten. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Port Princesa, aber es fährt ein Bus vom Hotel ab, und man kann auch ein Tuk-Tuk nehmen, sodass die Fortbewegung unkompliziert ist. Wir haben unsere Entscheidung für diese Lage außerhalb der Stadt nicht bereut – es ist ruhig und friedlich, und man kann wirklich gut schlafen. Das ist ein großer Pluspunkt nach dem Lärm und Chaos der Stadt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Personal. Sie waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim Einchecken gratulierten sie meinem Mann zum Geburtstag und spendierten uns ein Eis. Das war eine sehr nette und unerwartete Geste. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt, und das Hotel selbst wirkte nicht heruntergekommen, was in den Philippinen selten ist. Die Bettwäsche wurde täglich gewechselt. Die Matratzen waren etwas hart. Das Wasser war zwar in Flaschen abgefüllt, schmeckte aber wie Leitungswasser. Wir hatten zunächst ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Straße, bekamen aber später ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Pool. Das Hotel verfügt über zwei große Pools, was ein nettes Extra ist. Der größte Nachteil ist das Frühstück. Das Buffet war sehr dürftig und klein. Im Grunde gab es jeden Tag nur Omelett, Reis und geschmacklose Würstchen und Fleisch – insgesamt vier Gerichte. Einmal gab es zwar Pfannkuchen, diese waren aber fest und ähnelten eher Brotteig. Die Hotelleitung sollte ihr Speisenangebot dringend überdenken. Besonders überrascht hat mich die geringe Auswahl an Obst. Auf den Philippinen ist Obst überall erhältlich und günstig, doch zum Frühstück gab es nur Wassermelone und Papaya. Warum nicht Bananen, Ananas und Mangos? Das wäre doch naheliegend, vor allem, da das Hotel hauptsächlich von Touristen besucht wird. Insgesamt überwiegen die Vorteile die Nachteile, dank der ruhigen Lage und des freundlichen Personals, aber das Essen ist verbesserungswürdig.

Citadel (the name of one of the owners) is probably the ”best for the money” mini-resort in Puerto Princesa! My room had a king bed, was comfortable and included satellite TV, a fridge and sink area. The grounds a pool are clean, neat and look great. The pool is amazing for a property size. Even though the Citadel is located 1.5km away from one of the main roads and the Robinson's Mall there are small food stores nearby for basic needs. It's easy to get a tricycle from the road near the property to just about anywhere in the Puerto area. Do ask one of the locals what the fare should be to the placey you want to go. Francois and Citadel, the owners are very nice and helpful. You will enjoy your at the Citadel! BONUS TIP: Just up the road (north) to the left is a food store and cafe on the right side of the road. Inside is a dental office run by Dr Joy Zapanta. She offers a full range of dental services. I got my teeth cleaned for about US$20. I could see dental tourism as a future business for Dr Joy. Enjoy your stay at the Citaldel and get all your dental work done!
