Very convenient location for us when heading back North for the tunnel; close to A20. Lovely hosts and very welcoming. Extremely tidy, well resourced and comfortable room. We also got lucky at the local restaurant, Brasserie Allo Allo, where they were having a concert night with a string jazz trio plus singer; they were amazing. Restaurant was easy walking distance but recommend that you book.

The castle is located right at the market square in Saint Gaultier, but secluded and in a quiet location. The host couple are extremely sweet and incredibly welcoming, and can recommend many wonderful places too see, in the surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated, overlooking the castle towers and the large garden. The breakfast consists of delicious homemade products and a good choice. Karin and Jesper are wonderful hosts 💚🇩🇰🥖🧀🍷
