Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstraße, die in die Stadt Badami führt. Der Empfang ist freundlich, das Englisch der Empfangsdame sehr gut verständlich. Das Gepäck wird schnell in unser Zimmer (Nr. 302) gebracht. Das saubere Zimmer ist recht groß, verfügt über Kühlschrank (leer), Fernseher, Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee und AC. Das angrenzende Bad ist praktisch eingerichtet und hat einen elektrischen Boiler für warmes Wasser. Aus der Dusche selbst kommt aber so gut wie kein Wasser. Lösung: Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn in den großen Einer laufen lassen und das Wasser mit der Schöpfkelle über den Körper gießen. In Indonesien bezeichnet *** das als „***di“. Klappt prima. Trinkwasser kann *** im Hotel kaufen, Bier kann *** sich bestellen, es wird aus der Stadt geholt. Die WLAN Verbindung ist angeblich vorhanden, was wir während unseres zwei tägigen Aufenthaltes nicht bestätigen können. Wir hatten dort zwei Übernachtungen. Im nahegelegenen Tempel wurden in dieser Zeit von 16 bis 5 Uhr ***tras gesungen. Da diese recht eintönig sind und sich Text und Musik wiederholen, gelang es uns doch, einzuschlafen. Da das Hotel etwas außerhalb von Badami liegt, empfiehlt es sich, das Restaurant des Heritage Resorts zu nutzen. Im Hauptrestaurant wird vegetarisches Essen, im Garten werden Fleischgerichte serviert. Zum Abend kann *** a la carte bestellen. Unsere Dhals waren okay, aber nicht überzeugend. Zum Frühstück gibt es entweder ein „continental“ oder ein „indian“ breakfast. Auch dieses traf nicht unseren Geschmack. Die Frühstückszeit beginnt erst ab 7:45 Uhr, was doch recht spät ist. Das „Krishna Heritage Resort“ in der Stadt, wo wir zu Mittag aßen, ist sicherlich die bessere Übernachtungsalternative.

We were at badami on work and spent 3 days at the Heritage Resort. We were touched by the great hospitality - the staff was very helpful; everyone was very friendly. The greenery around the property gives a refreshing relaxed feeling. Ms Vijaylaxmi was particularly accommodating and very enterprising. Our business trip was about a research on Ilkal Sarees and we were pleasantly surprised to find that Ms Vijaylaxmi herself is closely connected with weavers and has a beautiful outlet within the hotel premises. We had a great stay and would surely recommend The Heritage Resort.

The place is well maintained. Happy that I am alive and writing this review as the hot water in my room was having electric current in it! The ***agement was nonchallant about it. The food is decent. The service is horrible.

I had the opportunity to go to Badami and booked accomodation at The Heritage Resort..It was a beautiful experience with lush green ambience, neat and tidy rooms, smiling staff, and above all,tasty food. I would highly recommend this resort for your stay in Badami

We booked a room at the last minute for the Dussehra vacation, couldn't get a cottage. The resort is maintained neat and clean. The room was clean and spacious, so was the bath. The room on ground floor #107 didn't have a sit-out/balcony. The AC appeared not to be cleaned well enough, it was giving out a slight foul smell, but we got used to it quickly once inside. The food was reasonably good, breakfast spread was good, so we're the menu options. The staff are friendly. Ms Vijayalakshmi is sn able and affable ***ager. Our major grouse was that the resort campus is congested. Even if you take a cottage, you don't get a private sit-out and you will stare at passersby. Sadly, there isn't enough walking space either and you must get to the road if you want take a stroll. Even the parking space is crumpled and it could get annoying if the resort is full. We would have liked it much more if the same facilities were provided in a campus 3-4 times bigger.

Great hospitality , very helpful staff and very accommodating. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. It was very hot but the rooms had good ac and the rest room facilities were clean and basic Had a great time

Location is excellent, close to station and to the Badami Caves. Resort has a nice touch of greenery which perhaps i was missing otherwise in Badami, cos of the weather in March. Staff is very helpful. Food options are very limited. But overall a good deal!

This is the best resort in Badami . Its a small resort but very beautifully designed .We were a family group of 10 people and stayed in 3 cottages . Cottages were huge in size and had everything we require inside it . I must mention resort ***ager Nagesh who is a fantastic guy and very helpful . He is like single point of contact for everything you need . Special thanks to Nagesh. Food was very good and tasty . Over all I will recommend this resort to anyone visiting badami.

We stayed at the Heritage Resort, Badami for three days. The cottage was spacious andvery comfortable facing a nice garden. The staff are very hospitable and took good care of us. The food was very good too. The location is great as it is 2 kms away from the town center on the highway, just 2 kms from the Railway station. Definitely recommend this place for everyone.
