The Ritz Carlton Bachelor’s Gulch is truly a skier’s paradise! From the moment we arrived under the log porte-cochère, we knew we had stepped into heaven. The entire lodge has the feel of a warm log cabin, with upscale features. Friendly faces are all around to tend to one’s every need. This ski in resort takes going to the slopes to another level. You are mere footsteps to the chair lift that will whisk you away to the best slopes we have experienced in quite a while. There is a ski shop right on property where you can buy lift tickets, rent equipment, and buy clothing items for your time on the slope. Very convenient! If other forms of exercise is what you are looking for, the Ritz has a wonderful workout facility adjacent to a spa that hosts a “grotto” for your relaxation pleasure. There is also a massive swimming pool and hot tubs if you would like to take a dip, while snow tumbles all around you. As far as restaurant choices go, we had the chance to experience Wyld-upscale dining with an open kitchen and views of the slopes. There are also other options such as Sakaba, the Japanese restaurant on property, The Market for quick bites, and the Fireside Bar for apres ski delights. The rooms have had a pleasant makeover and they are quite beautiful with a modern flair. The beds are very comfortable and the bath products smell terrific! The hotel has thought ahead by having humidifiers in the rooms since the air is dry, which is a special touch. Housekeeping did an awesome job at keeping things fresh and feeling like everyday was the first day. We stayed on club level which made meals and lounging time something that we didn’t have to plan for. The five food offerings met the needs of both adults and children, never leaving anyone hungry. This area took the stay to another level! Again, the Ritz knows how to give its guests a pleasurable stay with its service. In particular, Anna and Enrique on Club did an EXCELLENT job!!! We have stayed here in the past and this stay reminded us as to why we always keep coming back. You will not be disappointed with your trip to Bachelor Gulch when choosing the Ritz Carlton!

SO ... Mein Ziel war es, in der Nähe zu sein, wo ich eine Operation hatte (in Vail). Ich war so auf ein luxuriöses Hotel, wo ich die Aussichten genießen und einen ernährungsvollen Ort haben könnte, um nach der Operation zurückzukehren, um zu heilen und eine Physikalische Therapie zu beginnen. Ich wurde gesagt, es war ”15 Minuten bis Vail und meine Klinik” - was nicht der bequemeste Weg dahin zu kommen war - in einem Shuttlebus mit vielen Schritten und krampften Sitz. Unser Zimmer (Ich reiste mit einem meiner lieben Freunde, die auch mein Pflegepersonal war) war schön genug - ein Schlafzimmer Suite. Es hatte 1 Badezimmer, das wir teilten - wieder, das war OK. Allerdings war das Zimmer das längste (weitere) Zimmer vom Vordergrund des Hotels ! Es wäre nicht möglich gewesen, dass ich nach der Operation die Entfernung gelaufen hätte. Auch während wir dort waren, waren die Aufzüge da unten und nur 1 arbeitete. Zwischen den großen Hunden, die umherlaufen und den Müttern mit doppelseitigen Wandern - es gab absolute Wahnsinn ! Meine spezielle Ernährung wurde nicht richtig verarbeitet - anstatt ein ”Cauliflower Steak”, die sie mir mit Cauliflower STEAK serviert. Ich konnte im Grunde nicht für 2 Tage essen - nicht gut für die Vorchirurgie. (Sie hatten auch Kopf hoch!). Das war ziemlich die letzte Schale - versiegelt durch eine aggressive Mutter, die als sie in den Aufzug kam, sagte: ”Ich komme gleich, was - Zimmer oder nicht!” Ich musste ein anderes Hotel bekommen und zu einem viel besseren Spiel für den Rest meiner Reise. Ich konnte nicht die Chance von jemanden, die in mich laufen post joint Ersatz !!! Es scheint der Ort, mit Ihren großen Hunden und Kindern zu sein - nicht für eine ruhige Umgebung. Das war meine Erfahrung. Hoffentlich haben Sie alle eine bessere Zeit!
