I highly recommend Bertram Inn & Conference in Aurora, Ohio since the service was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and it is obviously well cared for.

Perfectly serviceable hotel but needs simple updates to make my stay more enjoyable. No device chargers in wall outlets or lamps was frustrating. The decor is plain but the appearance of the carpet is worn out and needs updating or a deep clean. Their tiny gym has broken equipment and is overcrowded with equipment making it difficult to use. Their game room has a broken machine that is unplugged, either repair, replace or get rid of it. Staffing seems to be very lean.

If you stay here make sure you bring an extension cord. The outlets are hiding behind the mattresses if you want to charge anything. Plus you'll need your own USB ports, because there are none to be found in the room. My room didn't have a mini fridge or microwave either. It's clean if all you want is a bed.

I spent 8 nights at this hotel for an event at the hotel. It was my first time here and I was surprised at how much ground this establishment covers. Lots of bedrooms and lots of meeting rooms. Our event was in a building separate from the rest of hotel. We joked that it was in a different zip code than our rooms. The public spaces were in okay condition. My room was clean. Everything worked properly. Our event arranged for daily breakfast to be available for a fee, but I believe the hotel does not normally serve breakfast. There is a full restaurant with a bar. I ate there several times. The food was just okay. The servers were polite and efficient, but overworked; I believe the restaurant was short staffed. As of this writing, the event is scheduled here again in 2024. I will return.

Wow! Very clean and upscale. Quick check-in process & helpful front desk. Can’t wait to find a reason to stay here again! Breakfast was decent quality also. Wasn’t able to use any other features but looking forward to next time.

Interaction with staff was great. Facility is dated but clean.One problem was not resolved. Wall sconce light bulb was out asked front desk to inform maintenance. Stopped by desk to inquire . SchedFront desk stated it was repaired however on return to room light was still out. As I was checking out the next morning did not push the subject.

DO NOT STAY HERE. First please know the staff was amazing, kind and only working w what they're dealt. We stayed a Mon-Fri. We had no hot water until Thurs eve coincidentally when a huge group was checking in for weekend. We were probably the only ones until then. Our key cards never worked. Poor staff had to constantly let us in w skeleton key. Again fixed Thurs before large group arrived. The restaurants mentioned on their site have been closed since Covid. No breakfast, minor but not so much when things started stacking up. Leak, waterfall lol from ceiling outside our room in hallway. Fruit flies in bathroom and toilet kept running entire time. Our carpet was wet from some kind of leak near our heater/ac unit. No clue how they received 4 stars...why we chose this place. Hot water is super important for bathing lol! Never again.....eeeeek
