Green Springs Inn

Absolutely loved staying here with my wife, and will definitely be back! My only complaint was that it was hard for me to find how to allow airflow into the fireplace. Obviously this was due to my poor observation, and I eventually found it. But it’d be great if there was just a simple instructions sheet showing how to work the fireplace for dummies!

Was a wonderful Chris**as family vacation. Woke up to snow in the am as we relaxed in hot tub. The Acate Falls Cabin is so big and we had 5 maple and 4 dogs. Plan for meals because stores are a 1hr trip. But they had everything we needed. Lots of stocked fire wood and star checked on you for any thing you might need. Restaurant was great. Scott is amazing!! He made sure you didn’t go hungry or not laugh. Place is a gem and will recommend to anyone and will return Thanks again for the memories. Nolan’s

The cabin was remote and clean. We appreciated that it was dog friendly, but be aware that dogs are not supposed to be on the furniture. The outdoor hot tub was lovely and overlooked the forest.We also loved the wood fire stove and supply of fresh cut wood. The only downside was that the jets for the hot tub in the Pilot Rock cabin did not function. It was a scenic twenty minute drive through the mountains to Ashland where you can find several cute shops and restaurants. The cabin was also within a short drive of several hikes. We would absolutely come here again!

Proud owner of a small parcel not far from GS, I needed a place to stay while I talked with developers, solar providers, and the like. The people at GS are determined to make you comfortable and they succeeded with me. I had messed up some of the booking; the people in the cafe sat me down with large cup of fresh hot coffee while the mess I'd made was straightened out...the only regret was that I still had half-a-cup of great coffee when I was shown to my room. And the room was so lovely, the bed so comfortable, and everything so fresh and clean that I can't remember a more peaceful and satisfying night.

I totally loved being among the evergreens! Staying here was like being in a super comfy tree house. It's quiet and peaceful.

We arrived about 7 pm after a 17 mile drive (10 miles of it on a very winding road) to find the office locked up and the promised (by management) restaurant closed and no instructions on how to access our reserved room. When we called the "if you need help" phone number posted on the office door, we received a recording asking for our number and promising to return the call within 24 hours! Talking with others, we learned this is a common occurrence. We finally called another number listed in our e-mail correspondence and got instructions on how to get into our room, where we had a dinner of crackers and pistachios from our car. A miserable experience we will not ever repeat there.

This was our second time staying at The Green Springs Inn and Cabins, and once again we had a wonderful experience! The first time, we stayed in The Jenny Creek cabin. This time, we tried The Parsnip Lakes cabin. Both are highly recommended! The cabins are extremely spacious and beautifully constructed. They provide all the amenities needed with attention to detail. We also appreciate that there is ample room between all the cabins to allow for privacy. Both of these cabins have a deck overlooking the forest with a wonderful view. Our cabin also had a Jacuzzi hot tub in a screened in porch off the bedroom, which was so relaxing. Although the restaurant was temporarily closed during our stay, the management team gave us ample warning, so that we could make alternative plans. We ended up bringing our own food, and had everything we needed to have romantic dinners in our cabin. If you are looking for a quiet, private get away in a beautiful cabin at an affordable price, then we highly recommend The Green Springs Inn & Cabins!

Disappointed restaurant was not open as advertised. WIFI did not work so I had to leave early to find one that did so I could send a document. But the worst was the coffee pot had not been cleaned and grounds from a previous guest were still in the pot.

Clean facility, very nice jacuzzi tub. The WiFi was down on this particular day, but the manager and staff offered us a TV and bluray player to accommodate (we declined), they also extended our check out time two hours. Very nice staff, we would stay again. Note: the lodge is currently closed, bring snacks!
