Sockeye Inn

I was really stuck in this love-hate relationship with this hotel. The location is midtown so it's about a 30min walk to downtown. There's a Walmart close by and also some cafes and stuff. The room was clean and I liked it. The Wifi could be faster to be honest. I faced east so that you hear the busy C Street, which for me wasn't a problem but I can see this for others being not the best, same for the early sunset, again not a problem for me. The hotel is always locked and you can only enter with your keycard. There are lots of strange people inside and outside the hotel and the staff is more or less just there, could be friendlier as well. The bathroom is shared. I don't understand why they label one as women, one as men, and one as bathroom when they're all the same. There's nothing in the bathroom where you could put your stuff when you take a shower and you have to clean a shared bathroom 1) more often and 2) actually clean it. Nevertheless, I had a good experience there and would probably come back.
