Aloe Boutique Hotel & Suites - Adults Only

This was our 1st holiday without our kids in 24 years so decided to really treat ourselves and what a treat. Cold towels and champagne on arrival was a very welcome luxury. Rooms were clean, airy and very stylish, communal areas spotless and luxurious, always sun loungers available, fresh bottled water in your room fridge every day, cool watermelon served at 2pm everyday by the pool (how I’ll ever know it’s 2pm at home now I just don’t know 😂) Staff couldn’t do enough for us and were always on hand to cater for our every need, nothing was too much trouble and all had a warm, welcoming greeting whenever saw them. My only suggestion would be to have had drawers underneath the dressing table to store all my make up and cosmetics in so they didn’t make the room look cluttered. I treated myself to a neck and shoulder massage, which was absolutely heavenly. I don’t have enough good words to say about the place. As for the area it was stunning, enough bars and restaurants to visit every evening, great, fresh food on offer, super friendly people, always making you feel welcome. The beach’s were clean and you could always find somewhere to sit, we chose to go to the beach several times as there was a nice breeze and the sea felt slightly cooler than the pool which was a welcome relief on the day it was 40 degrees 🥵 All in all it was the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had, just a good book, a Sun lounger and the most delightful staff we’ve ever encountered. A million thank yous go to you all for such a fabulous experience which I’ll be sure to tell everyone about. Hopefully this will be one of the places we’ll return to in the future 🥰

Stayed here for 12 days with friends. I was very happy with the location, services and staff at this hotel. My room was very nice, clean and just big enough. Not much privacy and noise isolation (could hear the couple in the next room every time they had sex). There is a beautiful small pool deck on the same level as the hotel restaurant. My room was just above the pool with a view of the pool and the sea. The hotel is 20 meters from the gorgeous beach and many beach bars and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was also excellent. I did not try the spa and relaxation zone, but some of my friends were happy with the services.

Beautiful hotel and the hotel was recommended so had high hopes. We got a lovely welcome when we checked in. The main reason for the 3 star was become of our room. The toiletries and comfort was all good. Our room Was situated at the front of the hotel. This proved to be quite noisy. We had a dog that kept barking and road noises. No view as the plants were so high and cars parked outside was disappointing. I had emailed ahead asking for a room near the pool on the bottom floor. But my wishes weren’t possible. Baring in mind this was booked months ahead. We did try and change rooms which the manager took 2 days to come back to us. All they could offer was a change of room for the last 3 nights of our holiday. Now we were here for 10 nights and there was no way I was moving for 3 nights in the middle of what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. If we had had a nicer room I’m sure I would have rated this 4 stars. The breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. Although hot drinks were up the stairs which I couldn’t understand. The village had lots of lovely places to eat. The beach is disappointing though. Over crowded and very small in places. This isn’t something we are it used to so struggled with this. So we spent most of our time around the pool this wasComfy and peaceful most of the time.

Our experience at Aloe Boutique & suites adults only Hotel has been nothing short of amazing! From the moment we stepped into this 5-star paradise, we were overwhelmed by its elegance and beauty. Situated just a stone's throw away from a beach with silky smooth sand and crystal-clear waters, this hotel enchanted us with a terrace that seemed straight out of a dream, complete with a restaurant that redefined impeccable service. Located in the village of Almyrida, we found the hotel looking for nice adults only hotels near Chania. It was a great surprise. The property it is super calm, nicely done. It is a small hotel. The staff is super friendly, always smiling. The room we got was like a loft, bed in the first floor, and living room and bath as well balcony at ground floor. It felt like a beach house. We had a small view of the sea as well the beach. Our criticism it was for the air con. It was 36/37 degrees and the air was not powerfully enough for the room size. At night took around 4hours for us to get a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was good, with a good variety. Saturday there was champagne breakfast. Bubbles and bruschetta with smoked salmon. The pool is nice, just the whole pool has a considerable depth. We got a welcome drink on arrival and a set of Greek Honey when we left. Amazing touch from the hotel. We used the gym that was basic, but enough for a holiday session. Definitely a great place to stay. I would just recommend the hotel to make an agreement with one of the beach restaurants. The hotel it is not in the beach. It is the street in front. And the hotel even if it is just crossing the street to access the beach, they don’t have beach chairs. Making an agreement would be nicer, as we would not need to pay for chairs in the beach everyday. The hotel has live music on some nights. We has a great time Friday night sitting by the pool with some lovely guy singing.
