Sehr schönes Hotel! Jedoch war es viel zu warm im Zimmer (bei 35°C Draußen), obwohl wir eine Klimaanlage hatten. Wir waren auf dem 3 Stockwerk (”Dachboden”). Zimmer sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern! Klein aber gemütlich und sehr sauber :)

Um die historischen Orte der Schlacht bei Waterloo zu besuchen, ist dieses Hotel bestens geeignet. danach bietet es eine sehr schöne Terrasse, ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant und wunderbare Zimmer. Das gesamte Personal war besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ich besuche regelmäßig und es ist immer eine Freude, zurückzukehren. Das Personal ist freundlich, sorgfältig und sehr zugegen. Die Betten sind komfortabel und ich bewerte die Sauberkeit der Badezimmer hoch. Ich gebe zu, dass die Teppiche mit einem tiefen Reinigungs- oder Ersatz, für einige Zimmer, aber anders als das, dass es an der Stelle ist. Die Parkplätze erlaubt elektrische Ladepunkte und sie wird durch ein Tor sicher. Obwohl es nahe der Zugbahn ist, ist der Lärm kein Problem. Aber bereit sein, einige glückliche Lärme von den Fußballteams zu hören, wenn sie zurückkommen, um ein Spiel zu gewinnen. Es dauert nicht lange, aber zumindest Sie sind gewarnt. Das Essen ist immer eine Freude, da die Gerichte sorgfältig gekocht werden und es ist immer lecker. Frühstücksstücke sind wunderschön, meine einzige Bedauern ist, dass es nicht erst 7. Wenn es um 6:30 oder 6:45 starten könnte, wäre es für mich ziemlich günstig. Jedenfalls kehr ich alle 8 Wochen zurück und weiß immer, dass es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt sein wird.

Das Hotel ist augenscheinlich in die Jahre gekommen und könnte einige Renovierungen vertragen. Wir waren froh, mit einem Sonderpreis hier übernachtet zu haben, denn zum Normalpreis hätten wir uns maßlos geärgert. Das Hotel liegt wunderbar an einem See und man kann zu Fuß einige Restaurants erreichen. Die Reinigung der Zimmer lässt aber sehr zu wünschen übrig und im Bad lag 3 Tage lang der selbe Fussel unter dem Waschbecken und über die gesamte Zeit lagen Handtücher (nicht von uns, die waren die ganze Zeit da) hinter der Heizung. Es ist alles sehr hellhörig und wenn die Jugendlichen die zu dieser Zeit im Hotel waren durch die Gänge gerannt sind oder ihre Zimmertüren zufallen ließen, wackelten die Wände. Draußen wirbt das Hotel dann mit einigen ”Golfangeboten” die aus einem kleinen Puttinggrün mit Kunstrasen und einem ”Wassergrün” auf dem See besteht, das mittlerweile von den Enten besetzt und dementsprechend verunreinigt ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist auch einem 5-Sterne-Hotel nicht würdig und es gab die ganze Woche dieselbe Wurst und Käseauswahl (jeweils 5 Sorten) und das gewöhnliche Rührei mit Speck oder 3 bzw. 5 Minuten Eier. Hier gab es nicht einmal Eierbecher für die Eier und man half sich mit Schnapsgläsern. Auf den Tischen fehlte die Möglichkeit den üblichen Abfall (Eierschalen, Verpackungen vom Butter, Käse, Marmelade, Nutella usw.) zu entsorgen. Das bekommt man sogar in kleinen 3-Sterne-Pensionen besser hin. Zum Normalpreis würde ich hier niemals übernachten und es besteht großer Verbesserungsbedarf, wenn man sich 5-Sterne-Hotel nennen will.

Such a comfortable hotel with strategic place , nice hotel and nice room with warm greeting from Bernard the heart of the house, his very helpful with information , nice breakfast looking forward to back again to Belgium and spend good time in summer .

Sauber, sehr gutes Essen, hervorragende Meeting-Räume für große Gruppen inkl. Break-Outs Eine sehr ruhige Lage, daher etwas außerhalb von Brüssel. Anreise in die Stadt (zB für Team-Events) nimmt etwas Zeit und Organisation in Anspruch.

The hotel itself is nice and is well furnished with good sized, comfortable rooms. We stayed for one night going down to Bavaria and again on the way home. Check in was easy and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is fresh, modern and ideal for an overnight stop over. There are shops and restaurants a short walk away if needed, as no evening meal/food was available. My room on the way out was comfortable and clean with great in room facilities including a lovely walk in shower and nice comfy beds. Both shower heads were in dire need of descaling and the rainfall shower sprayed every which way but down meaning I couldn’t use it. The air con was an added plus and soon cooled the room down. All 3 rooms I had were the same layout and had the walk in shower with Rituals soaps/shampoo provided. Worryingly, on inspection in the room for my return journey I found a dead adult bed bug on the grey pull out futon chair. I saw this as soon as I lifted the cushion and there was also a dirty tissue inside the cushion case. This suggests cleaning staff had not checked that area very thoroughly as it was easy to spot. The actual bed was clean with no signs of other bugs, but I was not taking the risk and was moved rooms immediately. I always inspect rooms thoroughly in any hotel before bringing my luggage in for this exact reason. The reception were most helpful and moved me to the other side of the hotel straight away, but it did cause me a lot of anxiety and I had a poor nights sleep as a result. No one wants to find that in their room!! The second room provided was clean with no issues identified other than the shower heads needing descaling. The breakfast offered was tasty with a good choice of food items and drinks. Porterage was included in our package but I took my own luggage up and down to the rooms. The rooms had a nice large tv and plenty of channels to choose from. The adjustable floor light was nice to leave on at night for a bit of light in the room. I would recommend the hotel and would be willing to stay there again. Hopefully they will start offering evening meals as this will be a huge plus for weary travellers who don’t want to walk down a main road to get to a restaurant.

Very poor service. I do not blame the only two staff on duty who were clearly stressed and under pressure trying to serve meals to a coach load if tourists booked to stay overnight. Informed the two of a food allergy that was totally ignored and the meal contains the peppers that was asked not to contain. I totally blame Best Western management for poor staffing and inadequate training of the staff. Had the allergy been a peanut allergy it could have been fatal. Come on best Western get your act together. We have used Best Western on many occasions such as Canada and many other counties. Best Western will be a chain of hotels we will ensure to avoid in future holidays. A total failure of Best Western standards and very poor management.

Nice hotel. Room was sparsely decorated but had everything we needed. Bathroom was very small but the shower was good There is no lift but the stairs to the first floor weren't difficult even with my bad knee. Our room overlooked the battlefield which was perfect for my husband, and if we hung out of the window a bit we could see the lions mound. Breakfast was usual fair, continental and a not do British with scrambled egg and smokey bacon. The only problem was the first morning we got down the egg had all gone and wasn't replaced and the bacon was very hard. The hotel itself looks tired in places but there was a notice stating it is under new management so maybe it will be redecorated or refurbished at some point. All three nights we ate in the hotel restaurant - the food was delicious and service very good. Language not too much of a problem but knowledge of a smattering of French does help at times. Tip - there is a QR code on the top of the menu which translates it into English on your phone

We pass once a year through Brussels and always stayed in town but Waterloo is much more convenient, less crowded, less expensive to park ... and the Côté Vert is charming, quiet, and offers a pleasant restaurant with an interesting selection, and good quality at fair prices (250€ for 4 people à la carte, inlc. a bottle of wine). And the staff and service are perfect, courteous and efficient. Decoration of the hallways and rooms is a bit drab and aggressive but these are details.
