This hotel is no doubt very conveniently located but hygiene and safety standards are terrible for the price you pay here. Towels are dirty and often have holes in them. In fact you need to keep reminding them that you need towels. You will get a bath towel. No hand or face towel. Most of the housekeeping staff don't wear masks and are poorly trained in hospitality. Food is very good and tasty - full marks to the culinary team.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Turnpike Lodge. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. The only disappointing thing was that the pillows were very thick and firm. I would have liked softer ones. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back

Location was just perfect., the staff could do with being friendly and smile. They all seemed very serious. The room was clean and spacious. The cafe which was part of the hotel had good choice of snack food. Lovely coffee. Very helpful. The mosquitoes were also very friendly. The specifications of king size bed was not met. Room did not have hair dryer. I wanted to use hair dryer before heading out for work, it was not provided even after 45minutes of waiting.
